I am a letter carrier in Manhattan. After reading everyone’s reviews, I bought these boots. I am not satisfied with them. Inside molding rubs my ankle bone and they are very heavy. Hard to work in them all day. Very disappointed.

Great shoe but not for me - I received this pair in exchange for the Naot Matai and there is a big difference in the structure of the shoes though they appear similar in the photos. These are solid with a lot of support unfortunately though they're wider in the toe box than the Matai's there isn't as much flexibility or depth to accommodate the height of my wide foot--and after wearing them around the house for an hour they didn't give. Too bad Naot doesn't make wider shoes or half sizes! Three cheers to Zappos for great service and accommodating wide-footed folk like me!

Lovely with just one quirk - These are really lovely, comfortable shoes. The only odd thing about them is that the sole has two oval raised bits for traction that aren't as wide as the sole itself. It feels slightly precarious as you're walking, like your foot might fall a bit in one direction. Also, if like me, you need to use custom-made hard orthotics, especially the half-size kind, it could be difficult because the insole of this shoe is made of a thick cork--a very good quality, thick cork, but nonetheless not conducive to cutting in half to fit in the half-size orthotic. The shoe could do with a little more arch support. If you don't have fiddly foot needs, though, this is a lovely shoe! I'm keeping mine anyway because it's pretty close to perfect!

I ordered this shoe because the description said this collection of Naots run narrow, but they were too wide for me and sadly I will be sending them back. They are a cute shoe, but the Samoa is cuter and more narrow (I have a narrow foot and have trouble finding shoes that fit). I wear a 37 and found it to be pretty loose on my foot. The Samoa size 37 fits perfectly.

Very comfortable & true to fit. I've had Naots in the past - they are VERY durable.

Love this shoe! I have wanted this shoe for about a year. This is more than I could have wanted. Comfort and cute! It looks great with pants or casual skirts.

Takes time to wear in. This shoe is an investment. It is very comfortable right out of the box. In time, it because great!

Cute, Unique, & Great for Work - I'm on my feet all day at work and I was looking for a cute mary jane to dress up my look (I've been wearing red Crocs with everything yikes!). These shoes are unique and well-made. I can stand on concrete all day and my feet never hurt when I go home. The only problem I've had is a couple of blisters on my toes. This was only when I was walking around a lot in them. But for standing at work, very comfy shoe.

Too long too wide , and a bit heavier. I have the Kirei and love them , these are going back

The left shoe’s arch felt like it was 3/4 inch forward from my arch. This lack of proper placement was very uncomfortable. So disappointed. Have always loved this shoe.

The leather is very stiff, and the upper part cover most of my foot. It looks clumsy. Not elegant at all. And, for casual wear, it is not cool enough. Totally not good. I am returning it.

So comfortable and so ugly! They should not be this unattractive but boy are they. The toe box is designed to look misshapen and they look far worse when you put them on. This is a shame because the swirl on top is pretty. The open part of the shoe doesn’t follow the lines or shape of your foot so these look like “special” shoes as if they were made for someone with some kind of impairment.

Beautiful and comfortable. The toe is big enough so that I knew that scuffing would be an issue, so I bought navy shoe oil polish immediately, but it won’t cover the white just below the surface, so it will always look scuffed.

Heel too wide, toes somewhat crunched, style clunky. Need to return

These shoes run large for my true size 4 foot. Also the shoe is very heavy.

I have this same shoe from several years ago and the heel is much more attractive and feminine on the older one than this one. Current model is way too clunky looking. Naot did not do themselves any favors messing with a great thing.

I bought these shoes in November 2016 and discovered that the strap on my right shoe broke while at work. The stitching came loose on the left side of the strap, so now I have essentially clogs for work until I can get home. I work as a desktop technician, so hopefully it's a quiet day. They cost enough money that I would expect better craftsmanship.

I wanted to love this shoe, but the 40 was for a higher volume foot, and I was swimming in it, and the 39 was too tight. Too bad Naot doesn't make half sizes.

I just received this style and wore it in the house for 1/2 day and it seemed fine. This shoe feels sturdier than my other Naots (Matai) and at first it felt like it would offer great support with cushioned comfort. So, I wore them on a trip and noticed that the velcro edge from the closure-strap was was catching on my pant leg. Then I noticed I was getting chaffed on the top of my foot where the strap rubbed. They are very sturdy but now I'm thinking the leather is too stiff and certainly too abrasive to wear without socks and even somewhat irritating to my foot with socks on. I think they'll be okay as long as I don't do a lot of walking in them. I hope they limber up!

These are beautiful shoes, incredibly comfortable - but with an incredibly narrow instep. I tried sizing up and while the fit was better it was still way too narrow. I think the problem could be solved if the strap was longer but it's so short that too much of the velcro was going to end up being exposed. Remain a huge fan of Naot and will try a different style.

I loved these shoes, but after a while they both developed a horrible squeak that won't go away. They are now the noisiest, most expensive shoes I own. I wish I could fix them.

I was hoping the shoe would be funky cute. But it doesn't work in terms of style. It is comfortable, but not comfortable enough to be quite so ugly.

I had double bunionectomies and have pins in my big toes. These did not work for me. My foot requires a shoe with extra volume. Most shoes don't work. However, if you need arch support, and don't have a fat foot, I think these would work. I like Naot Matai shoes and could wear them before my bunion surgery. Personally, I did not think they run a half-size big like some reviews stated. Well, Zappos is the best online retailer anyway.
