Love this shoe! Normally wear US 8 1/2 or 9, but I took the advice of others & got the US 8 equivalent. Fit is snug, but not too tight and the leather is soft. Love the cushion-y support of the foot bed. Put off getting these because of the cost, but no regrets once they were on!

Naots "Sea" rocks! I have wide feet with high instep and pronation. On top of that I am pregnant and my feet are swelling so much. I have to say these shoes are the best! I bought the black with pink stitching, and they are so comfortable. No breaking in required. The strap makes the fit adjustable and they are also much more stylish to look at than other comfort shoes that I've had to buy (and I've spent a fortune on comfort shoes that end up being uncomfortable). These are suitable for the office (I work in marketing for a biotech company). I Would definitely recommend them if you have similar foot problems.

Best. Shoes. Ever. The reason Moses wandered for forty years in the desert was that he was wearing a pair of Naot shoes and didn't want to have to take them off. I got two pairs of shoes in the same shipment, one Naot and one Dansko. I didn't try the Danskos on for two hours because the Naots felt so good. These are excellent shoes for folks with high arches, wide toes, and narrow heels. Plus, they're kind of funky looking, but not over the top. I love them.

Stylist, comfortable, well made - I have high arches, high insteps and bunions - not to mention a bad back and arthritis knees - I cannot say enough about this absolutely cute, stylish, comfortable shoe. It has an extremely good arch support, but if you'd rather use an orthodics you may do so. I will buy more styles.

Fun shoes that make me smile! Did I need these shoes? No! Did I feel compelled to buy them? Yes! Do I have them on this very minute? Yes! They make me smile and already are favorites.

i wore these shoes in size 35 for decades and now, these are too small. not in the length but the top where the toes are is so narrow it hurts me. I Have Naot shoes in 35 I bought in the past 8 months and they fit fine.

i wore these exact shoes in size 35 for decades. literally. i got these shoes in a 35 and a 36 and the 35 was too small and the 36 too large. i bough tthe 35 bc i thought i could walk in them unlike the 36 which were too big and i tripped on my feet. So, now...these shoes seem to be cramping my feet at the top of my toes where it feels too small not in the length. They really hurt....I am so upset bc now these shoes are discontinued so what will happen to me if i can wear my favorite shoes? this was my last chance to solve my problem .....I have no idea what changed in the manufacturing process. So, sadly I Will return them and seek similar shoes that do not have a very small toe box. What a complication.

Loved the wide toe box but slipped a little on the heel even with a sock and gapped a little across the top of the foot.

On the left shoe, the arch support was 3/4” forward from where my arch began. Didn’t quite fit.

Sadly, the arch on the left shoe came 3/4 inch forward from my foot’s arch, resulting in discomfort. I have always loved this shoe.

The shoe itself was wonderful. Toe box was roomy and insole was very comfortable. HOWEVER, the strap across the instep is too short, and the hook part of the hook and loop that is on the shoe itself (not on the strap) remains exposed by about 5/8”-3/4” after the strap is fastened. Will catch on anything my foot brushes against. And be unsightly. SOOOOOO disappointed!

These are great shoes and the fit is nearly perfect, the width on the left shoe is slightly loose on my foot but the Velcro strap helps make this work. The sewing around the flower design is pink, this was not noticeable online but it will still work.

They seem comfortable after wearing a couple of days at a conference. The Velcro snags things if any loops are exposed, and on the left forefoot the sole wasn’t fully bonded to the shoe body. They don’t vent as well as danskos, so if your feet sweat they seem to get a little clammy. Otherwise they’re cute and comfy.

This iis my second pair of Naot Seas. The first pair lasted ten years, and in retrospect I only donated it because the heels were worn down far enough to make me more bowlegged; I probably could have resoled them. Obviously they are a favorite shoe. I felt funny giving it only 4 stars on some factors when it is so good. Comfort in Naot's "Shell" footbed is excellentexcellent and padded more than the Leveche, which I returned for feeling so thin and unpadded. I would still love it if they were even cushier, but they are softer and more padded than Mephistos or Birkenstocks cork rubber soles. I have high arches and can usually feel nothing but air under my arch - these are not as high as I would like, but better than most. There is room in the toe box width to be comfortable. For size reference, I am just a skoshi shy of 7 and just a skoshi shy of wide on the Brannock foor measures. Thhis explains why I wear a 7 almost always except in a few 6.5 dress shoes, and prefer a wide boot but don't need one, but also shy away from long narrow boots. How this is relevant to you: the European sizing that might make you think they do not run true to size. I call myself "a perfect 37" . Except for a few Keens that even Keen says run small, it is 37 year in, year out, ten years on a pair of Seas and starting the next one. However! You will note that Naot size charts say that a 6 is a 37. Or if you are a 7 and order a 38, you will then review the shoes as "runs large". They do not! Their size chart is off! And so many other shoemakers too. Nope, they run true to size. 37, 37, 37, 37. Find your European size and do not let their weird goofy size charts keep making you review sizes wrong and send stuff back for the next size down!

Thought these would fit fine but the left one was much tighter than the right. Was disappointed as I have found Naot shoes to be so comfortable.

This is a cuter version than most mary jane type shoes, in my opinion. I purchased it based on reviews that it was more comfortable than the Naot masai. For me, the masai fits much better and has a subtler profile. I also did not really care for the burnished swirl on the top.

This is a well-constructed shoe and it is becoming my go-to shoe for work. I like the fit and the stylish accents which give the shoe a little personality. this is the first time I've bought Naot, and i feel the workmanship is good. I would buy it again or recommend to my friends.

These are absolutely gorgeous and extremely comfortable except that they *just* fit me. My toes went right to the end, but weren't too tight. I typically wear Dansko shoes and wanted something more stylish. I almost kept these except my left big toe rubbed on the top of the shoe when I walked. I'm tempted to order another pair to see if it was just an odd manufacturing discrepancy. For the price, they better fit perfectly.

I have Naot Gerbera & love them. Bought the Sea & wanted them to work so badly but have to return. I need an extra pair. For some reason , Naot seems to be making the cut of the backs of the MaryJane styles too high, at back of ankle, at least for me. Zappos return policy is great. Eventually I will find a good looking walking shoe that works.

I have an older pair of these and the heel area on this one is very tight and digs into my ankle.

I loved these shoes. They were just what I wanted - but the fit is not right and my right pinky toe rubbed. They were also a bit short. I wear 7½ and I got the size 38 (I think). The heel was also a bit wide. I love the Naot sandals and have about five pairs, but I guess the closed shoes are not for me so I have to return them.

While these fit nicely on the length and width--they were huge on the top of the front of my foot. I could put my fingers in the shoe--the depth was totally too large.

These shoes are very comfortable. I walked all over Paris in them. They run a full size large, so order down. Two things keep these shoes from being perfect, and both are the velcro fastener - the velcro will wear out long before the shoes do, and the strap doesn't cover the velcro fully when I wear them, so the velcro catches my socks and hose if I cross my legs and is always getting caught in the hem of my pants. It's not a huge thing, but it is a minor annoyance. These shoes look large and a bit clunky, but they are very comfortable.

Let me tell you, it broke my heart to return these shoes. They were practically perfect, and the other reviewers are not wrong about their style, stability, and comfort. The problem was that, for my feet, the shoes were far too tight across the upper foot. I tried to ignore it, but after only a short time wearing them around the house to try them out, there was too much pain. I took them off, and the leather left a deep mark in the top of my foot. This was a real shame since everything else about the shoe was perfection. I don't know if a wider width would solve this or not. I wish there was some way the leather across the top of the foot could be let out just a little. I so badly wanted to keep these.
