Darn it!!! DANG! I was really psyched to get these boots. But, I have a very high arch and walk mostly on the outside edge of the side of my foot. Unfortunately that is exactly where a giant seam joins the sole and where the lining inside ends. I stood up on carpet and was in almost immediate discomfort. But I looked fantastic. I wanted these boots for tramping around the woods where function and comfort just have to be more important than looks. These were a last resort. Now I'm going to shell out over 400$ for custom boots. If you have a lower arch and walk more on the inside of your foot, I suspect these boots would be great for you.

Oh, sad. The most beautiful boots in the world would have lasted 20 years like my last Fryes, but too tight across the instep. Medium is ok in some brands but I guess in Frye I need a wider width than the one offered. Back to Merrells to wait for a serious boot.

I am so happy with my purchase! These boots are so sleek. I cannot wait to wear them to work with my jeans on Monday! I love them. They are must haves!

These are the most bad ass well made boots I've ever seen. a little stiff and very heavy duty so I'm trying to wear around the house to make sure. honestly though, no one can match the quality of Frye. I'm just a convinced fan because these logger work boots are my third pair if Fryes with the others being more cow boyish people just love Frye boots and remember, you get what you pay for with Fryes they last forever.

These boots are fantastic! They fit exact, although there was some breaking in time. But, that was to be expected, these boots are very well made. They will last a life time. I have never been disappointed with any of my Fryes! There are a number of different styles of Frye boots I plan on buying. I love 'em! Thanks Zappos for carrying them. A happy customer, DC.

Love these - very practical yet feminine. These boots are warm without making your feet damp from sweat. They fit great, are comfortable and don't take long to break in. I was looking for a better fitting, made in U.S.A boot after being unhappy with women's Chippewas that are made in China. Very happy with this choice.

I'd been looking at these gorgeous boots in longing for months and was finally convinced by the great reviews to buy them, even though this is more than I would usually pay. The left boot fit fine, but the right boot was so tight that within a few minutes my toes went numb. Additionally it ripped up my heel so badly I ruined that sock with bloodstains. I took the right boot to a shoe repair place and they put it on the stretcher for 2.5 days; that helped quite a bit although it is still noticeably narrower than the left boot - and my left foot is slightly larger than my right! Now that both boots are actually wearable, I notice that they are not very comfortable. The boot is stiff and does not give much when you walk, I am hoping that will improve with wear - what will not improve with wear is the fact that there is very little cushion to the foot bed and minimal arch support. I would add a cushioning insole but there's no room to do so. The boots do look fantastic, but are they worth it? I'm not sure.
