Hi Top Chucks are a classic and should be a staple in everyone’s closet. If you’re grown, you gotta level up the canvas game (unless that’s your thing - this is a judgment free zone) and get them in leather. It’s worth it, they pay longer and the cleaning process is easier, trust me on this one. Also the leather just adds a touch of sophistication and swag to an outfit.

Like the description says go down 1/2 size. Great shoes. Not supposed to wear white shoes after Labor Day but no way I’ll wait till spring. Leather rocks.

The shoe fit a half size larger, I normally wear a size 9 in women’s so I ordered a size 8.5. I love the style, I can’t what to wear them. My first leather converse. Also, I checked Converse website $75.00 plus tax and shipping. Thank Zappos for setting the standards for quality at affordable prices.

All time favorite classic. Design that never gets old. Not exactly comfortable and a bit heavy but I was able to remove original rubber insole and replace it with thick cushioning insole. Also replaced original laces with elastic ones. Been wearing them for few years. Looks better with age. Also remember to size down half as they do run large.

It’s true that these sneakers run a 1/2 size larger. My feet measure at 11 1/2 inches. - I ordered the 11 1/2 size knowing that there is going to be a little extra (1/2 size) room for my toes. - My reason for ordering the 11 1/2 size was because I added thick arch supports inserts inside the sneakers to support my falling arches...that have fell. My feet are very flat. - 11 1/2 was the perfect size for my needs. I like a little extra toe space in my sneakers...especially high top sneakers. If you are NOT going to insert a thick arch support inside of these sneakers...then you should order a size 11...if your feet measurements are 11 1/2 inches, It should be a very nice fitting sneaker on you! - if you are going to insert a thin arch support...you should order a size 11. The Chuck Taylor All Stars I purchased are the most comfortable shoes I have had for a long time. I bought my normal size and the fit is perfect. I received these promptly and could not be happier.

I am usually a high heels girl and wear a size 9½ for pointy heels and a size 9 for round or almond toe and open toe shoes. I purchased the Converse Leather Hi in white and love them! I bought two sizes and settled with the women's size 8½; I am returning the size 9 because it was too long and appeared very long. Shoe is comfortable, but the leather will rub on your ankle until you wear them awhile to soften them. I definitely had to wear ankle socks. All in all, the leather Converse are very nice! I have been complimented by many who are only use to seeing me in high heels and they were shocked to learn that my new shoes are leather! They do not appear to be I guess, until you touch them. Buy them! You will love them!

This is more sturdy than the canvas version, and it looks great with shorts to dress pants. The tongue tends to shift, but this is true of all hi-top Chuck Taylors, because of the lack of a lace-through loop. Extra-classy shoe.

Excellent fit, room for extra-support insoles, and style to last for eons. What more could one ask?

Awesome shoes. One of the most comfortable pairs I now own. If you're a fan of Converse, I highly recommend these. Just make sure you get the right size. Converse sizes can be a bit tricky sometimes.

This was an excellent purchase in white leather! I will put some insoles for arch support. I am rocking them all day everyday with every outfit imaginable. And I am trying colorful laces too! I would not recommend these for people with wide feet in front.

After reading "Born to Run", I wanted an inexpensive, stylish shoe that fit 'barefoot' principles and that I could wear anywhere. This is it. I love them, and I don't normally care about shoes at all. At first, the shoes started a little tight and I was worried that it would stay that way, but in about a week's time, the leather had expanded comfortably. Also, If you're used to wearing shoes that are a little higher from the ground, then be aware that your jeans might hang over the bottom in the back - a problem I solved with two safety pins in my jeans. Below, I say that this shoe has no arch support, which is exactly what I was looking for (and what you should also be looking for). My next purchase will be the canvas low tops, I think - for summer.

I got my shoes today from Zappos.com. I am extremely please. These are super comfortable and look really good. If you like Chucks like I do and want a long lasting shoe, get you these pair of Leathers. :)

These shoes are awesome for a few reasons. They are essentially your standard converse all star hi tops in form and function and so they carry over all the same pros and cons of the original. pros being a classic shoe, comfortable fit, easy style. cons being still just a little too narrow at the ball of the foot, no arch support, and soles that don't grip as much as you'd like. This shoe has some new things to offer though. The all leather exterior provides a little more protection from the elements, an increase in style; so you can wear them more places, and a maintainable material. You can count on these lasting a little longer than your regular chucks with some care.

I adore my black leather Converse! Usually I'm a fan of the Converse rainbow of their traditional canvas shoes, but this pair raised the fashion stakes by being more trendy and chic, as well as more rugged than traditional Converse shoewear.

Do these Chuck Taylor's ever go out of style? I don't think so. I love these shoes. My wife bought these for my birthday and I have been getting complements on them ever since. Especially when people realize they're leather. She ordered them online from Zappos and they are perfect. Fit and quality are right on and no defects.

I bought these for my son; he's been a fan of Converse leather hi-tops for years. These are similar to a pair he owned previously, though we miss the tattoo-art embedded in the sole. He's hard on shoes so his previous pair lasted about a year or so. The fit is good for someone with a medium-wide fit. For example, Sambas are too narrow but all Converse fit very well.

I was always a fan of Chuck Taylors. These Leather ones are a nice up grade from the canvas, with the same fit.

Great shoes, too bad they run too big. I had to return them because they were at least 1 size bigger than my usual size.

I bought these for my 12 year old daughter. She loves them as they are sturdy and stylish and an alternative to the regular converse all star.
