My Experience - First off, I have to say that Zappos is the only online shoe store I use that has the most variety in styles and sizes. Zappos next day aired my sneakers at no extra cost to me and that was awesome. Thank you! Ok, my review on the Converse All Star Hi All Leather - look amazing, as for comfort, that's my biggest complaint. They barely have any cushion or support. They are very low to the ground, but I recommend that you buy some type of inner soles like jellin or something with support. Now I'm enjoying them again. Thank you Zappos for being the best online shoe and accesories online superstore.

A Classic in Leather - Purchased two pairs of these "Chuck's" in the all black leather: one for my boyfriend and one for my brother. Both absolutely LOVED them. They look as laid back, classic and casual as the canvas versions with the addition of being just a bit special because they're all leather. I also own two pair of low tops in red sequins and graffiti print, and I love those, too. An All-American classic shoe perfect for kicking around on the weekends.

Another pair of Chucks?? Not just your ordinary sneaker ... it's a 'leather Chuck' ... stylish and comfortable ... yes, I'm wearing Chucks at 55 ... grew up with originals ... and still wearing them today ... I currently have six pair and this is the first pair of leather ones ... need to keep them away from my two sons, aged 26 & 24 ... they were over the other day, rummaging in my closet and saw them ... and the leathers remained at my home ... great price, great service ... less than 24 hours from ordering they were at my door. Keep up the great work ...

Good for casual scooter riding - I bought these to ride on my scooter. They look exactly like regular Converse shoes, but the leather provides more protection than canvas.

They don’t form to your feet like canvas converse and are pretty clunky. I’m not impressed and wished I’d returned them. I wanted converse that didn’t stain so easy and thought the leather would solve that problem, but the downsides don’t make it worth it.

Hard matl in upper & lower construction. Outsole is spec'd as "rubber", but is a harder matl that feels more like 'thermoplastic elastomer' than rubber. Upper-outer is leather, but is hard and vinyl-like. For a sneaker-style, this shoe is is constructed with hard/harsh matls which in combination with zero arch support, makes it a non-starter for me. I was quite happy with previous Converse Chuck Taylor's and hoped to find a worthy successor.

They did not have my size, so I got a half a size smaller, it was tight around my toes , maybe a full size would had fit better

Like others may have said, I would recommend ordering at least one size down. I purchased my usual size but they fit on me like clown shoes. Besides that, nothing wrong with the shoe; it looked very good.

Theses shoes have the classic Chuck Taylor look. They are the most uncomfortable shoes I have bought in a long time. I added memory foam arch support inserts that brought them up to my expectations.

Something's changed. These Chucks don't fit me like they used to years ago. I think Converse has changed the fit of these, as they now feel wider. It used to be a narrower fit and now they feel too big and clunky. I've always been a 7.5 size, but now they feel weird and I'm not sure why or how Converse deviated from the old formula. The leather also feels stiffer, yet thinner. Maybe only the Chuck 70 or CTAS Pro feel like the old style, but I can't confirm. I returned them. You can now get similar looking, yet more comfortable knock-off Chucks for less money. Check out STRAYE, who will now be my go-to, since Converse (or shall I say Nike) took a dive.

These look great but have no support. If you feel that the original Chucks are comfy then I'm sure you will like these. I am going to wait until they make them available in the Chuck-2 style.

I've owned regular canvas chucks before and I love them. The leather ones are super cute, and just as Comfortable, but my main gripe is that the tongue is constantly slipping to The side. I have to stop what I'm doing and pull on the tongue to center it every so often, which is a pain. Maybe if there was a little loop sewn into the center of the tongue like most high tops have, this one won't slip. I've worn it too many times to return it. I was hoping that once the leather wore in it would stop slipping, but it's not the case. Bummer.

These are much larger than I thought it would be. I am normally between and 7 and 7.5 women's since I have wide feet. If you're between sizes, I would recommend going with the smaller size.

These will last less than a year... It is sad that the the leather rips from the side rubber... before the soul does. I don't do anything but walk in them.

Looks great! It's the winterized Chuck, for when canvas just won't cut it. Not quite as comfortable as you might want, but hopefully it will stand up better than the canvas Chucks, which have a habit of ripping around the heel.

I was so excited to get a leather version of this classic. However the leather was so stiff, I couldn't break them in at all. Where they end above the ankle was very sore after wearing. Since I was excited to get these I already recycled the box so I hope they take the return with out the boxes.

People wore these to play basketball? Marketed as the granddaddy of basketball shoes...but don't expect these to wear comfortably. I didn't get these to play basketball; I got them for nursing, seeing that they're one of the only shoes on the market with an all-white option that doesn't look terrible (white is a requirement). I got them in a ten (I wear elevens in other shoes) and they still felt simply huge. Also, if you have wide feet, you may want to reconsider your choice of footgear. Pardon my French, but I was pretty darn surprised how uncomfortable these are.

Y’all only sent me one damn shoe and this was for a birthday gift! I’m pissed!!

First, no cushion to speak of. Feels like you're always walking on a hard floor. Shoe laces barely long enough to tie. Over all, I'm afraid if worn in rain they will fall apart. I wish I would have spent this money on a pair of Sketchers a better shoe. By the way, these are made in Viet Nam. Probably cost $2.50 to make. I regret my choice.

This has more to do with shipping. I’m not sure if this company doesn’t import some of their items from Asia’s but the shoe arrived over 2 weeks past the estimated date. I returned them

The worst, most annoying shoe I've ever tried to wear. Converse needs to figure out how to design their shoe so that the tongue stays in place. These are literally unwearable and a waste of money.
