I can't get her out of them... I purchased these shoes specifically for dressier occasions but my three year old simply wears them everywhere. I specifically love the study construction, the nose of the shoe doesn't even have a dent on it, given she's learning to ride a trike and uses her toes to stop. I love the way they look with her jeans but especially the way they look with her skirts and dresses and how she's still able to play without me worrying about her sliding across the floor in the traditional dress up shoes.

Super cute and very functional! Just got these for my 4-year-old daughter and we both love them! She's soon a US size 10, and the UK size 8s seem perfect for her. So the size chart when ordering them seems right on now. These are great shoes for both wearing with jeans to preschool or with casual dresses. And I love that she can easily get them on and off by herself!!

Great Shoes!! So happy to find Dr. Martens in a child's size. They are very well made. My daughter is really rough on shoes and these held up well to her rough play. The leather on the toes does get scratched periodically. This can easily be fixed with some shoe polish. This helps keep the leather conditioned and nice looking. They are a bit expensive, but I will able to save them for my younger daughter to wear. Definitely recommend.

Mary Jane Review - This is a great shoe. My toddler will destroy any shoe in no time, but this one held up. It fits well, and she can wear them without socks. On top of it all they are cool shoes. I will by another Dr. Marten shoe when she grows out of this one.

Welcome doc martens - This is our four year olds first pair of docs. We have been waiting anxiously to get them for her. We love them and so does she. She wears them with everything she has and never complains. They are so cool.

Dr. Martens Kid's Collection Mary Jane (Toddler/Youth)- I love these shoes! My daughter loves them too. She wears them all the time with jeans or skirts. They really do run big though. She wears a 10 and I bought her a 10 and they were too big. I just kept them and ordered a 9 and they were perfect. As long as Zappos continues to sell these shoes I will continue to buy them in every size. I love these shoes and I love Zappos!

My girls love these shoes. They are really cute. The back is a little stiff so we had to bend a little. My daughter tried to wear them with no socks and said it hurt. We also have them in plain leather. These are a dressier version of their "go to" daily shoes. This is there fourth pair of Doc Martens Mary Janes. They have held up well enough to polish them up and pass them on to my niece after two children have worn them! They are UK sizes so remember to size down.

Dr. Martens Kid's Collection Mary Jane - My 7 year old daughter is very tall for her age and wears a size 3 (youth) in shoes. I wanted a good pair of black patent leather shoes that didn't look too grown for her. I was so happy when I accidentally stumbled upon Zappos.com and saw this beautiful pair of black patent leather Mary Jane's from Dr. Martens kid's collection. THESE SHOES ARE ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! They are excellent quality and they've stood up to my daughter's "roughness" on shoes! They were a little bigger than marked, but I kept them for her anyway because the strap across her instep keeps the shoes securely on her feet, so she can run around in them without them falling off. I'm actually happy that they were a little bigger because she has room to grow in them. I will definitely be shopping with Zappos again. DR. MARTENS MARY JANE'S ARE 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!!

Classic, sturdy shoes that my daughter loves! These shoes look great, and they're made incredibly well, too. They are very practical, but also pretty cool. My 3 1/2-year-old daughter loves them. They also look great with skirts (but she can still run, climb, and play)!

So cute! My daughter loved these shoes from the moment she put them on. There was no break-in period as the leather was already soft. We love them!

Great shoe! This is the perfect shoe for Christmas and Valentine outfits. It can go casual or dressy. My little girl loves them. Seems to run slightly big, but I ordered accordingly after reading other reviews.

Dr. Martens - I recently ordered the Mary Jane's for my daughter because of the sole, I thought it would hold up to the pre-school play ground and they have done wonderful, she plays in them outside and they are holding up well to the gravel. The leather is not showing scratches. She says they are very comfortable.

Doc Martens Rock - Being a young punk in the late 80s, I lived in doc Martens. I love that they are available in kids’ sizes too. Any shoe in this brand will wear well and just looks great and gives the style an additional edge. My daughter likes these shoes and can wear them with anything--jeans or dresses. Unlike typical dress shoes, I like these because she never stops running and with this sole, she doesn't have to!! A great shoe--the patent leather looks incredible.

Dr. Martens Kid's Collection Mary Jane (Toddler/Youth) Very comfortable shoe - soft leather uppers, flexible shoe with good support. Has excellent trademark Dr. Martens sole - so far it's been indestructible. If only the navy leather uppers were the same. The toes were already scuffed the 1st day. Perhaps the patent uppers would be more resilient to gravel, sand etc. Still, would recommend it as it's a very good school shoe.

LOVE these Red shoes!!! Very cute, my daughter says they are super, duper comfy! Great patent RED, good shine, good fit, pretty ribbon thread by the sole.

Dr Marten Mary Janes - Love these shoes! My daughter loves these shoes! One issue was that she usually takes a 12.5, but after reading the reviews I ordered smaller with a 12. When they came in they were still a bit big. So I called and talked with Zappos and decided to keep the larger pair and order another smaller pair (1 and 1/2 smaller). These fit perfect! The quality is excellent. So we are definitely keeping both pairs! I have to add that Zappos was so exceptional regarding our purchase. I will never go anywhere online again. My daughter is very happy. Thanks Zappos!

Fabulous shoe! We purchased the red patent leather shoe and we love them. We purchased the US 3 and exchanged them for a US 2. The shoe seems to run a size smaller than others. Also the exchange process was very easy and fast. (Thank you Zappos!) In short we love the shoe since it looks fabulous and does not wear down or scuff easily. The color is beautiful and my daughter says they are very comfortable and easy for her to run and play in.

Great shoe to wear with school uniforms - I bought these shoes for my 5-year-old to wear with her school uniforms. At first I thought they ran a little big, but my daughter insists they fit and are comfortable. The shoes appear to be well made, although I was skeptical at first since they are made in Thailand. The shoe gives her great traction on the playground, as well as on wet floors, and I think they will be suitable on ice and light snow in the winter. The hook and loop strap makes it easy for her to get the shoes on securely by herself, and we avoid the hassle of shoes that constantly come untied. I am extremely happy with these shoes and would definitely buy them again.

Excellent shoe - We bought this shoe last year for my daughter's school uniform. She wore it 5 days a week for nine months and it held up better than any shoe I've ever purchased before. For something she has to wear every day, I don't mind spending a little more money. This shoe is worth every penny!!
