My daughter, who has narrow feet, was unable to slip her feet into these shoes. The opening is too narrow.

This shoe was very narrow. My son couldn't even get his foot in the shoe. I can't go up in size because then it would be too long. My son loved these. Bummed they don't have wide sizes

The shoe was about a size to small for my 7 year old. If you’re considering this shoe buy a size up.

these shoes DO NOT fit.. you can't even get the Childs foot into the opening of the shoe.. once we CUT THE elastic out to get his foot in .. the shoe was JUST right. This is the second pair we've had this summer. just trying to find a cute slip on shoe .. I love my vans.. but they really need to get their sizing and sewing figured out

I bought these in the grey checked for my grandson and the purple/pink checked for my grandaughter. I bought them each about a half size up and coulnd't get their feet in them at all. Then ordered another full size up and still no luck. Something about the top of them being cut weird. We loved them, but just couldn't make them work

We'd worn the toddler versions of this shoe for years, so I didn't read the reviews closely... but as other people say, the "little kid" version of this shoe is constructed differently, and the foot opening is too small (or not stretchy enough?). I can get them on my kid's feet, but only with a large amount of force and a huge struggle. After trying them a few times my kid now refuses to let me put them on. On the plus side, they will now last forever.

I personally love vans so I bought a pair for my nephew in the size he needed and he could not even get them on his feet.

Disappointed child at Christmas. We tried for 15 minutes trying to get his foot to fit in the shoe. The top of his foot turned red trying to slip these shoes on.

My son has a pretty narrow foot and wears an 11, I bought an 11.5 and he couldn't even fit his foot inside the shoe. Opening is way too small.

Others are correct. The size is way off.

These vans are so cute but they are so narrow my daughter could not even put her foot in the shoe at all. I like these shoes alot and don't even know if I should go a size up or just find another type of van shoe. My daughter wanted these shoes so bad and she's very dissapointed she can't get her foot inside the shoe. My daughter has narrow feet but these shoes are very very narrow the shoe is not open enough at all the opening is very small.
