Totally Satisfied - I was very happy to see the Vans Classics in my size and colors. These shoes attract a lot of positive attention.

I can't believe I'd forgotten about these shoes! When I was in my early teens I loved Vans. My contour-checkerboard "Authentics" (which they don't make anymore) were probably the coolest shoes I've ever owned. But somewhere along the line skate culture invaded pop culture, and the only Vans I could find anymore were big poofy suede marshmallows. A few years ago I made the transition from casual to hardcore vegetarian, and have since been phasing leather out of my wardrobe completely. So long Adidas. Discontented with Converse over issues of comfort and their recent takeover by Nike, I was shopping on Zappos.com and discovered their excellent "Vegetarian" feature. Oh, yeah! Vans! My first instinct was to get a pair of the Authentics, but a recent sandal injury prompted me to try the slip-ons, hoping to replace the ease of use in my sandals but with more toe protection. I recieved them VERY quickly (Zappos inexplicably upgraded my FREE shipping from regular to 2 day), and loved them right away. Although I soon remembered why I'd never owned a pair of the slip-ons. I have very narrow feet and Vans tend to be wider than normal. This is no problem with laces, but you can't really compensate with the slip-ons. So I got a pair of Dr. Scholl's insoles, and the problem is fixed. Next time I think I'll try one size smaller though. I don't think I'll ever buy a different pair of tennis shoes again. Cool, VERY comfortable, cheap, and nothing had to die for me to wear great shoes.

I bought two parirs of White Vans Classic Slips-On shoe size 7. They were very comfortable and easy to slip-on. They look great with black socks, navy socks or with no socks at all. I am an indoor sports umpire and I wear them and they make my feet feel good. Just to walk in them and they go with any colour of trousers.

Great shoes, great service - I ordered these shoes for my son for a Christmas present. I had looked in EVERY store in the mall and this style was SOLD OUT everywhere! I got online and searched and found them at ZAPPOS.com! I ordered them on the 18th of December and thought he'd get them after Christmas for sure. ZAPPOS had them at my house on the 21ST of December! My son loves the shoes because they are so comfortable and has worn them every day! Great shoes, Great service!

Vans slip-ons rule - I received my Vans slip-ons for Christmas and have worn them everyday since. I got the red and white checkered pattern and I love the way they look and feel. I have a narrow foot, but they still fit and even though they are slip-ons they don't fall of. They are good shoes for people who like to relax and have fun. Vans slip-ons rule!

A great shoe - Just what expected, my Father-in-law really enjoyed his checkered Vans!

Checked Van's slip-on - Actually, I bought these for my 22 year old son. He loves them! I thought that this company was great. They shipped these out overnight at no extra cost because it was close to the holidays. I would definitely recommend their website.

Classic vans - Loved the shoes. They felt slightly bigger and thought that maybe I should have taken a 6 l/2 instead of a 7. If you were to wear without socks you should definitely go l/2 size smaller than suggested. With socks ok with a 7, but still a little loose. I am a girl and normally take a 8 1/2.

Vans Classic Slip on Red/White Checkered - No complaints at all on this shoe. I also liked very much how the shipping was free due to the holidays.

Classically retro - Our son loves Vans classic slip-ons. We buy them in every color and print. They are cool and easy to wear, they even wash well. He's a 2nd generation Van's wearer, his Dad and I love them too!

Old School Vans - I ordered these shoes for my daughter. She loves the easy wear. Just slips them on and she is ready to go. We love Zappos. They always have her size. I ordered these for Christmas. Besides the free standard shipping, Zappos upgraded the shipping and I received them in 2 days from ordering.

A great shoe for all seasons and reasons - I can't say enough about how fantastic these shoes are. They're incredibly comfortable, look great, and practical for all manner of activities. There's nothing like having a shoe you feel good wearing that's just a slip-on away. I can't recommend this item highly enough.

I have always worn slip-on canvas shoes my entire life. Over the years I have worn Keds and Land's End brands. My Vans are by far the most comfortable, durable and stylish of them all. I plan on buying one pair in every color in the future.

Super surprise gift - My son grew up wearing Vans and he was tickled and thrilled to get a pair of actual Vans after all these years (he's 27). Zappos was very helpful in the ordering process. I had a small problem when ordering with my computer. They were right there to help me and fix the order. We got them very fast. One part of the Zappos policy that I thought was really great is that they can be returned if anything is wrong for one full year. It's not likely that this will happen but that policy is there just in case. It gives the customer a good feeling. I give Zappos an A+ in their overall policy and handling of orders and customers.

Top notch - These babies are top of the line. You simply cannot not find a cooler shoe at such an affordable price. Zappos ships stuff so fast, sometimes you literally have the shoe the next day. They can get you any style any size in two shakes. I am ordering another pair from them as we speak. I would suggest to anybody to buy shoes from Zappos, their return policy is first rate and they have endless options. These shoes rock, and so does Zappos. Thanks.

RETRO COOL - I bought black and white check VANS for my son. They are classic, fun and comfortable. My son loves that he can slip them on and go, a nice break from the skate shoes everyone is wearing.

Dad's vans - My father says that the Vans are the same as the ones he had for years, and he is very happy with the new ones, very comfortable and do not call undue attention to his feet.

Vans checkered shoes - My boyfriend is hot in these shoes.

Classic Vans Slip-On - I've been wearing Vans Slip-Ons for 25 years or so. They're the greatest! They're comfortable and they're easy to put on and take off. I won't stop wearing them till they stop making them(which I hope they never do!).

Great classic shoe. I completely love the look of the black and white checkered. It's a very old style that I couldn't find anywhere. They are very comfortable even if they are a very basic shoe. Overall I think they are great.

Review of Vans Classic Canvas Slip-On - I am a Type I diabetic. I must have a comfortable shoe that does not bind my feet. I find this old classics to match my needs perfectly. There is a certain give with the fabric, especially after being broken in, that I just love. Being canvas, they will not be as durable as the suede leather shoe, but for pure comfort they are unmatched. D. Anderson
