Yes they are classic, yes they are cool. I recommend ordering a half size larger than your converse all star size. Love the shoe, just don't expect to be walking on pillows or something. They are Vans, man.

Have always loved Vans Slip-Ons. They are comfortable and these are really cool looking. And they don't have much arch support (similar to Chucks) but that doesn't bother me. My friend who has flat feet also seems to have no trouble wearing Slip-Ons.

Checkerboard Vans are Love - I love these shoes. They are eye-catching and comfortable. Great for wearing with jeans or a short skirt and funky tights if you are feeling adventurous. No heel rubbing from the band, slight arch support thanks to the insoles they added and just great comfort.

Great shoe! I got these for my 8-year-old and he absolutely loves them. Easy to put on and very comfortable.

Vans review - I am a huge fan of Vans. They have a classy look but they keep you comfortable too. I got my first pair when I was 14 and I am still wearing them till this day. They are for people any age and any style. Vans gives you a casual look and it is known by everyone.

Great for even an older chick - I bought the chinz-rose/black Vans and they look and fit great. The rose is much lighter than I thought it would be so these may go back but I would exchange them for another pair of Vans, no question.

Both these shoes and Zappos are amazing! From a friend and reading these reviews I found that Vans run large so I ordered a half size smaller and I still have room! So order smaller! Within a few minutes of wearing, I am already used to how they feel and they feel great!! And who can go wrong with free overnight shipping?! I ordered at 2pm on Monday and got them by 11 the next morning! Thanks!

Exactly what we were looking for... My nephew wanted a pair of the Vans Slip-On's for summer. We checked 6 different shoe stores in the area and could not find his size. Two stores even tried to tell us that they didn't make them in half sizes. Told him Zappos had them and we came home and placed the order. He is thrilled!!
