Waterproof and comfortable style . . Excellent walking shoe - Bought these for a trip to Netherlands next year during the rainy season. Fit as well as any Ecco (which is to say very well, without any break-in period.) They appear perfect for the urban winter, and look good enough for most occasions.

Great choice- This shoe fit well and felt perfect from day 1. No break in needed. I have had excellent wear and fit with all of the Eccos I have purchased. Zappos service was as excellent as the shoe.

Great shoes - Ecco shoes are the only shoe I will wear. With my bad back Eccos are a comfort for me standing or walking. Thank you!

Ecco Track IV low Gore-Tex - The shoe feels good, and looks good. I really like Ecco shoes. I have worn them for about 15 years or more and feel they are worth the price. I do feel however that they are making uglier shoes as time goes on. They are also less comfortable than the ones I have bought in the past. Every time I find a shoe Ecco makes I really like they quit making it. But I still do not find many shoe mfg equal to Ecco. This shoe is great; I would not be surprised that they stop making this one when I want another pair.

Great Outdoor Comfortable Shoe - The construction of this shoe is top rate with the uppers made with solid strong stitching, laces and quality leather. The soles have a great "snow tire" like rubber traction for bad weather. The shoe is quite warm and well insulated from the elements. The shoes are also stylish enough that you can wear these shoes on a snowy day with a suit or dress pants if you want. The only complaint is that the new piece of fabric put into the front of the toe box from the prior version where it meets the laces does create a slight discomfort in the bend of the shoe when you walk. Time well tell if this area breaks in. The shoe fits fairly well and is best worn with a thick sock. The shoe does not fit as well with a thin sock. I tried many other brands costing even more and this shoe was the best.

Ecco New Track IV Low Gore-TEX - I have the Track II lows and thought this model would be an update/upgrade. Unfortunately the inside left rear heel is uncomfortable. The right shoe is fine. I am not sure if it's this pair of shoes or the design? I have to send these back and perhaps just buy another pair of Track II lows. All I wear are Ecco shoes.

Comfortable multi-use shoe - Very comfortable shoe straight out of the box. I am a size US 9.5 and the European sizing was a little confusing; I was tossing up between getting a 43 and a 42. I opted for the 43 and it turns out to be marginally bigger than a US 9.5 going by how some Rockport 9.5 insoles fitted into the Eccos but I am sure I made the right decision. The Rockport insoles I swapped over were thicker and more comfortable than the standard Ecco ones that came with the Track IVs which resulted in a slightly better fit for me. This is a great hybrid shoe being suitable for many applications: looks good for work, keeps your feet dry on the golf course (yes I use them for golf too) and I climbed a mountain last weekend for 5 hours and their comfort was proven. These are the only shoes I wear now except last week when I needed black shoes to go with a dark blue suit and I dragged out the ones I used to wear - boy! Was that a shock to my feet - lucky I did not have to walk far... maybe I will get myself some black Track IVs as well?

Underwhelmed - I wanted to love this shoe but it just never worked for me. I have pretty wide feet and I seemed to be between sizes; 46 was much too big and 45 was OK but still odd in being so "swimmy" across the toe box. I had to take them back which I almost never do. Am moving towards Mephisto Warrior/Battler.

I had been eye-balling these shoes for some time but was always intimidated by the price tag. I finally decided to bite the bullet because I just need good shoes at this point as I'm on my feet all day for work. I had so much hope for these, but like the last reviewer said, the back heels are extremely uncomfortable. I had blisters on both of my heels after 2 days. Also the style wasn't quite what I had in mind when I saw them in person. I'd probably opt for the boot version if I were to try these again.
