I've seen these bags my whole life but I always ignored them because I wanted to be different. I recently started college and I've been getting into the outdoors more so I finally decided I'd finally try the borealis out. Immediately I was blown away by how comfortable the bag is. When walking on campus you need a bag that has good support for heavy books. The borealis had room for all the books can support the weight and is still comfortable when full. I love that some pockets are lined with a soft material to keep electronics scratch free. The hydration pack/computer pocket feels extremely safe I don't worry about my Mac at all when it's in my bag. Now that I own the bag I can see exactly why they're so popular.

My son loves this backpack. Uses it everyday to carry around everything he needs in middle school. Very durable and holds everything he needs.

Use this as my college backpack and it's great for when I am carrying my heavy textbooks.

Plenty of space for our high schooler, stylish design, good protection for a laptop, plenty of compartments for organization. It's totally worth the price!

Perfect size for my sophomore son who carries most of his stuff. The straps are really comfortable and many pockets are very useful and divided well to store his calculator and other stuffs , not mixing together.

This is the coolest pack I have ever had for 16" setup, completely separate protected pocket. Bottle holders on each side and very plush compartments. Would highly recommend for any carry items comfortably situations!

We purchased this for my high school son to use as a school backpack. It is nice, has plenty of room with good compartments for notebooks, laptop, calculator and pens/pencils. He says it is comfortable as well.

I use the borealis for school and it's amazing! It has a lot of different compartments for my school supplies. It even has one specifically made for my laptop. It's also a good looking backpack other backpacks with a lot of compartments are ugly but the north face one is a cool looking backpack.

My son is in high school and loves this back pack. He carries most of his belongings from class to class in this bag. He loves the support the shoulder straps give. He also likes how versatile it is. Definitely a backpack he can hold on and keep forever!

My daughter absolutely loves this back pack. It carries her lap tap along with the items she needs for school. The shoulder straps are comfortable and really have a lot of support.

I like the pockets it has, good bag for college. lots of storage and feels really sturdy. Use the student discount too.

So I got this book bag for college and it fits more than I need. Laptop, texts books, notebooks, extra clothes. The only thing is that the straps are a bit too hard for the shoulders. I hope it lasts. So far only used it for a month so I'll be back to upgrade my review.

I'm a school teacher using my Borealis backpack daily to pack my laptop, lunch and student papers for grading. It's excellent in every way. The quality is well above all other manufacturers and the practicality in design was well thought out. I've never had a back pack so easy and durable to use.

I love this backpack. I use it to carry my everyday essentials on campus as a doc student!
