We purchased this for my daughter when she started high school and it is perfect. She can fit her chromebook, books, binder, and it has smaller pockets for essentials. It also has a safety whistle on the strap, which hopefully she never has to use. She loved it so much we just bought one for my son. He has so many binders for his classes that his older backpack started to rip.

Great backpack for students and day pack, North Face packs are exceptionally made and hold up forever.

Bought this for my daughter because her old one was finally showing signs of needing repair. Great backpack. Lasted her through high school and most of college along with many travel adventures.

My granddaughter really liked this for a Christmas gift. She plans to use it when traveling or hiking. She particularly likes having the elastic on the back to carry extra items. She also liked the way it fit on her shoulders and back, so that not all the weight was hanging from her shoulders.

This is my carry -on bag thru the airport. Computer/purse/tons of stuff fit in it and I am hands free!!!!! When I get to my destination, it's the pack I use on hikes/outings etc. FREAKING AWESOME! And BONUS it's PURPLE!!! Luv it!

I gotta say, this North Face Borealis backpack is a real workhorse. I use it for everything lugging my laptop to work, hauling groceries, even going on day hikes. It's super comfy to wear, even when it's packed to the brim. And let me tell you, this thing is built like a tank. It's held up to some serious abuse and still looks good. Plus, there are pockets everywhere! Makes it easy to find what I need without digging around forever. Sure, it's not the flashiest bag out there, but for the price, it's hard to beat.
