I purchased these, to replace my house shoes, because I thought they would be comfortable. They are heavy and clunky and the are hard like walking on boards.

Had bought these at discount store, but heel cuff on one was flattened, but I liked the shoe! So ordered 2 pair here in 2 sizes, hoping for better fit. Both had this weird thing with the cuff where I wasn't sure if my foot was supposed to be inside , but it was terribly uncomfortable on top. In the larger size, they shoe flopped when I walked like an actual flip-flop. Sent both pairs back.

Too heavy and too coverage too low around ankle and heal. Fur only around outside and sole, the rest just a spongy poly which wears out easily. Not attractive and not. Good value for me.

Well, these are just okay. Not sure if I will keep them. Someone at Skechers had the incompetent wisdom to stop making the spindrift style which was more light weight and feminine so this is my only choice. This shoe is comfortable but heavier and reminds me of a 1970's hiking boot. The lug soles are perfect for holding snow or mud so you can track it into the stores or homes you go into. Cute but only for jeans. As far as Zappos goes, you are the best way to shop!

Find. The shoe. Is very stiff hard to walk probably will not be wearing them much. If I had worn them before The cold weather set in. ,I most likely would return them

NOT NICE CUSTOMER SERVICE. RETURNED THEM BC THEY WERE TOO SMALL. DID NOT EXCHANGE BC OF BAD ATTITUDE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. BOUGHT THEM A SIZE BIGGER AT[...]!! AND THEY WERE NICE-DIDN'T MIND SPENDING A FEW MORE $$'S FOR NICE PEOPLE!!

I think that sketchers are the best shoe on the market, this is the first pair that I have gotten that i dont like & that dont fit as they should.

This shoe is very uncomfortable. It's true to a Size 5, but the toe box is narrow and squeezes my foot. It feels stiff with no give, causing my foot to "flop" out as I walk. I'm sorry to return it.

Very disappointed in this shoe, aside from style. It feels like a true Size 5, but is narrow in the toe box, squeezing my foot to point of discomfort. It is an uncomfortable shoe to walk in, and feels stiff.

Shoe design 101: slick fur does not work without a heel, can’t keep the shoe on….the big brogan sole doesn’t help either. Skechers has made outstanding shoes similar to these in the past, plz go back and look at those. These were a waste of my time and gas to return.

VERY heavy, no cushioning inside, slim fit inside esp around toes EVEN with ordering WIDE. Wears your feet out and makes your toes sore. Soles shaped weird where shoe turns to side easily, causing rolled ankles and/or falls.

The Fortress was true to size and would have been a great shoe for walking the dogs, etc. but the faux fur was attached to the inside top of the shoe with plastic thread. The thread was visible and made the shoe unwearable because of the discomfort it caused to the top of my foot.

Personally, I absolutely love these shoes. They are soooo comfortable.

I thought they were a good idea to purchas before the snow hits next winter, howver, you couldn't wear these in the snow without them coming off your feet and I don't mean wear them in a snowball fight, just normal everyday winter wear

these shoes were not worn by whoever designed them - they are so heavy and cumbersome - I don't see how any one can wear them
