Very cute look. Hard, unforgiving insole. Not Comfortable

The fit and the size were fine. They are difficult to get laced up the first time (there are lots of holes!) - but once you have them laced perfectly, you can get in and out of the boot using the side zipper. Without that feature, I would never have the patience for lacing and unlacing these boots. One thing I did not like is that the zipper comes about 2/3 of the way up the boot, not all the way. So if you're not just wearing these boots for comfort, be aware that the 1/3 of the boot above the zipper is not going to effectively keep the snow out, because the boot is slit above the zipper. I don't know why they didn't just take the zipper all the way to the top. I'm returning because of that. I'm in Colorado, and I need to keep snow out, not just keep my feet warm.

These look cute, but they are not fully lined. Also, the zipper doesn't go all the way up; it stops about an inch short of the velcro fastener. The velcro fastener is also about an inch lower than the top so there's about an inch and a half for the cold to get in. These are more for fashion on a chilly day, than actual winter boots. The size is a little small if you intend to wear thick socks or double socks up. I also tried fitting in sheepskin insoles to help with the cold and hard foot base, but they were too small to add in the insoles. So size up if you want to add insoles and thick socks.

Aw shucks! For the first time, I can order footwear in my true size and have plenty of room in the toe box! Alas, these are more like a sneaker than a boot, with the top shin/calf area lacking structure. The fit was fine in the foot, and they are"adjustable." But they are so floppy that it's a major effort to get them on my foot. The tongue is a separate piece of material that runs from the toes to top of shin. Plus there's the zippered side portion, so when you try to put the "boot" on you have three pieces of material wanting to flop around freely. I noticed that there is a loop on the tongue that you can run the laces through in an attempt to keep the tongue in place, and the previous lacer did not use it, so I relaced them. Sadly since the tongue is at least 12" long, one loop at mid-level doesn't help... you really need about three of these stabilizing loops. Then there's the fuzz (yes it's super soft): you have to make sure tongue and surrounding pieces are neat and flat, otherwise this furry fuzz will bunch up. The tongue is so long and skinny that it wants to roll inward on its edges, so before zipping it together, you have to lay the top of the boot flat from toe to calf (pointing your toe like a ballerina) to get the tongue to be flat against top of foot and shin. I could go on but... bottom line, it will take me forever to put on these sneaker-boots, so even for the price and the comfort in the foot area, it's a no-go for me. I want a real boot with a bit more structure up the calves.

I thought I would give this a shot since I was getting desperate for boots. This is a fashion boot only, not for real snow, as it's somewhat thin and not very substantial. The tongue didn't attach to the sides very high up, and with my semi-wide calf, I worried snow would get in. There is a strap around the top that attaches with velcro. I found this to be an unnecessary annoyance, as it was already too much work to get my foot in and out of this. Perhaps this would work as a fashion boot that you're going to wear all day. Not for the on and off of a useful snow boot.

These are very cute boots, however they do not have the Skechers comfort cushion that I am used to. Maybe an insert would make them more so but for the price, they are going back.

Zappos is always fantastic. These boots are very cute - BUT I found them to be a bit flimsy. So I returned them. They are very narrow in the leg also - and I am sort of small.

These were cute boots. I ordered a full size larger because I have wide feet. They were still too narrow and very uncomfortable. Returned them.
