Good shoe sizing off - I had to take 1/2 size larger for this shoe. Otherwise just fine.

Classy Shoe - A sharp looking shoe it is, however I ordered it in my size 8-1/2 M and it's way too narrow. Can't wear them. :o(

This shoe is seriously missed sized! I have 7 pairs of Riekers, all size 40 or 41 (9-1/2 in US sizes), and I just received this pair in a 9-1/2. I couldn't even fit my foot through the collar to try it on! It's fully 1/2 shorter than any of my other Riekers, and the size is not marked anywhere on the shoe--either inside or on the sole. I don't know how they decided to call it 9-1/2 (on a sticker which is stapled to the sole), but they're going back...

56162 - A bit tighter than I had hoped especailly at toe.

Nice shoe - Overall I liked the shoe and it looks great. Order a half size bigger as it runs small. It is very comfortable in the first few hours, but if you do a lot of walking, by the end of the day your feet will be tired. The toe box doesn't have much cushion support.

Well..... Sorry to be a buzzkill; but based on my experience of walking all over London with these shoes on a recent visit, I gotta say these are not as comfortable as I would have liked. Actually, nothing short of my athletic shoes would have worked for the miles of sidewalks, bricks and cobblestones we traversed. They are fine for casual wear though and I like the style.

Low marks for poor fit - This shoe looks great, but it feels much narrower and smaller than I expected, especially on one shoe. The one shoe feels a full size too small & narrow and I'm hoping it's just a manufacturer defect. I have another shoe from Rieker and it fits perfectly and is wonderful, but it's sized EU (40), so I'm wondering if this brand runs small when marked in American measurements. Other than that, it's a very handsome shoe and looks great with slacks. I would recommend ordering a 1/2 size larger than what you normally take.

Rieker 56162 - Nice looking shoe with long pants. If you have a high arch it is a really uncomfortable tight fit. If you don't have a high arch, maybe it would be just fine. Nice stability when walking.
