I had bought a size 8.5 women's original Timberland boots and they felt way too tight on my feet. Even my friend who has a size 6.5 in women's shoes said the shoes felt slightly tight on her so I don't know why the sizing was way off this year. I usually am a women's 8.5 R. The last time I bought a women's 8.5 black pair of Timbs three years ago and it fit perfectly. This year, the sizing was way off and the quality definitely is much worse than what I had three years ago. The difference between the two is that the women's original Timbs are much stiffer on the inside and outside, almost like walking on cardboard boxes. Also, there is extra stitching in the new boot so the tongue is attached to the sides where my old Timbs, the tongue was detached and I could slip my foot into the boot way easier. The men's Timbs are way more comfy inside, almost bouncy. The only con to the men's Timbs Pro is when I wear them and I tie the boot a bit tighter than usual, the boot can randomly crinkle in odd spots of my ankles and it doesn't look too great, but I have a feeling it's because the size is slightly too big on my foot. I did have some issues with sizing on the women's side but the men's side, it seemed to work out perfectly. I decided to go with a men's size 8.5 because the size 8's were sold out. The men's 8.5 fit me perfectly with slightly thicker socks because I use these shoes to walk around winter weather in Brooklyn and it just looks amazingly stylish with my dark jeans! I love these boots very much and I hope they last just as long as my three year old Black Timbs if not longer! It's been a wonderful investment so far! :D

Confortable boots for work.

Husband is a truck driver and was stuck at a truck stop in the Wisconsin snow storm. When he had to dig his truck out. The boots kept him safe from slipping, his feet and ankles warm and dry. I'm so grateful for the quality of these boots as his feet were submerged in snow.

I have worn many different work boots throughout the years. Timberland is by far the most comfortable, durable work boots I have ever owned. I wear them in all sorts of weather. They are wet most of the time and hold up the longest. Well worth the money.

Great boots for working as a flagger. Dry, comfortable, well constructed, safe, and really stylish!

My husband only uses Timberland Pro boots for work. He works on his feet all day, every day, and needs boots that are durable and high quality. He goes through about one pair of these every six months. He says they're really comfortable and pretty durable. I also find that they're easy to get mud off of, to make sure it's not tracking into the house. I would certainly recommend these for work! #sweepstakes

The break in period was about 2 days. After trying them I felt I needed a bigger size but after the break in period they are perfect fit. Very warm and very dry.

They fit perfect, very comfortable. I unload trucks for work and they've already saved my toes quite a few times. I'm very happy with them and will definitely buy them again when I need to replace them

Size is good but could be a touch wider. Very durable and a great black boot to wear with jeans.

Bought these as a gift for a man who is constantly on his feet. Working as a welder. Most durable, comfortable, and supportive as well as protective. I would recommended these boots for anyone who's constantly on their feet. As well I own a pair of women's timberland boots that I absolutely love! 10 out of 10! I bought these for my partner for work. The material wasn't ideal for construction work, but he loved how sleek they looked and wears these as nice dress up boots. They look so good!!

I always thought they were too much boot for my commuting to work, or going out to the bars with the thicker soles and heel. Boy was I wrong! I believe they are MORE comfortable than the regular 6 inch boot of which I have many. I bought the brown and the black pairs of boots on Black Friday sale and WOW I LOVE THEM and you will, too! I'm now eyeing the Timberland PRO in Marigold Full-Grain Leather and Wheat Nubuck. I'll be adding them all in good time!

I'm so glad I found this boot in wide. Your regular women's boots don't come in wide so I had to get men's pro work boots. They fit great just disappointed that you don't have women's wide, as the colors are so cute.

Buy one size larger for a comfortable fit.
