I got my first pair of Timberland's when I was 17 and they lasted me till I was 23 and by the time I replaced them they were worn flat, scared and frayed. Once it came to a new pair it had to be another pair of Timberland's and work demands had changed so steel toe and waterproof were a must. The only negative about the boots I got would be that the tread is like 2" thick but in the end you need that much tread if you expect them to last six years.

I work outside construction from early March until late December. These boots hold up well with all the seasons and weather. I order a new pair each year only because I like the look and feel of new boots at the start of each season...

I bought these for work - not as a trendy fashion item ( Brown, not Wheat like the kids).
Great boot - medium works for me with insoles and work socks, but i'd buy another pair strictly for casual wear if i could get them in a narrow.

I work almost every day so I'm constantly using these boots. Even before I had to make the switch to steel toe boots I had the classic timberland boots that lasted a while. The only thing I was a bit picky about was the width of the boots I just bought. I have wide feet therefore I usually buy wide shoes and usually with the classic timberlands the size was true but this time it was a bit narrower than expected. Other than that everything else is good. Also it takes a bit of wearing for the shoe to start loosening up.

These are the best work boots I've had in 30 years, but I am sure they would work very well for any outdoor activity. The fit is perfect with med weight socks, heavy enough to do the job, and light to wear all day. No hot spots or blisters. Warm and comfortable. Although waterproof as stated, I also used some boot goop before wearing. Great price!

My teenage son loves these boots. He reports that they fit true to size and are water-repellent and great in the sub-zero temperatures we often have in the winter.

Best boot I've found! Only boot I buy. Steel toe is bomb in construction. Been wearing them for 15 years. Good for hunting too!

I bought this boots for my husband who works in construction doing drywall and taping, he's so hard on work shoes, they end up ripped and worn out fast, he used to wear caterpillar work boots but he ended throwing them away in 6 months, because of the harsh materials he works with, he wanted to try another brand and see how it works, until now this timberlands (one week of use) seem to keep up, he says they are comfy and sturdy, classic look. He's 12M and they fit right, he find them warm, perfect for the winter weather and outdoor work tasks, let's see how long they last.
