They get the job done - These boots indeed are on the clunky side, and for warmth, the tops are fine, but the bottoms seem to transmit extreme cold (I'm talking temps in the teens or lower) from a sidewalk to your feet--BUT, today I walked nearly 2 miles through many ankle-deep slushy puddles, and my feet are toasty and dry. It's in the wet snow and the slush where these babies shine. Thanks Sorels!

Great Boots!!! I purchased these boots for my daughter and they arrived quickly, and fit perfectly. They are made exceptionally well and are warm for our cold and snowy New England weather.

Love These Boots!!!! This was my first purchase with Zappos. I never thought I would buy shoes or boots online. This was a wonderful experience. My boots came right away! They fit perfect! I felt they ran true to size. Normally I would order a boot a half size up from my shoe size but I ordered these in my shoe size 7 1/2 and they were a perfect fit. Size 8 would have been too big. I am a Zappos fan now! I think their customer service is outstanding and I have high expectations. LOVE ZAPPOS!

Great snow boot - Bought these for my young teen daughter to tromp around in the snow in. (Yes, we get snow in Seattle!) She loves them! Super comfy and warm.

Bought these in elderberry love the color, just received them today, I ordered them yesterday, and they were here at my door in less than 24 hours. Thanks Zappos for the speedy delivery. I usually wear a size 9 wide but could not get a wide width so I got a size 9.5, they fit perfect. Feels like I’ve always worn them. No need to break these in. I'm sure they will keep me warm and dry for these New England winters.

Cute winter boot - I really like this boot, it's warm and looks cute, I wear pants/jeans etc all the time so it's nice to have an ankle winter boot. It's also great in the snow and ice. Only bummer is I have to really think about which socks I wear with them as the slightly looser socks work down and end up around my toes...NOT very comfortable or easy to fix in the middle of snow shoeing but overall I love this boot, I wear them everyday, no breaking in or anything. Order you size, first I ordered a half size bigger after reading some reviews, but they were too big. Thanks to Zappos awesomeness I got my correct size the very next day. I LOVE ZAPPOS.

Perfect Boots - I bought these because I live in Connecticut and visit New Hampshire often, so I really needed a good snow boot. They are EXTREMELY comfortable and warm. And they are really cute, compared to some other really ugly boots that are out there :-) I usually wear a 9.5 and bought a 10 and they were perfect. Couldn’t be happier!

Warm, comfortable & cute. A great combination - These boots are great! I love the waterproof bottom and the fur inside and over the top is not only warm but also cute. The only thing I would change is the round laces; they don't hold tight. I changed them for flat laces and the boot fits better. Can't go wrong with Sorel and cold weather gear. They know how to do it right.

Love these boots! I ordered a size larger than my normal size, and these boots are MEGA comfortable. I like the way they look, I did not have a "break in" period; they fit very, very comfortably, true to size (although technically a size larger than my normal); and they keep my feet warm and dry. They look good ta' boot!

Warm and cozy - I am very happy with the warmth and fit of this boot. It laces up easily, too. No more cold feet for me! Thank you, Zappos, for the speedy delivery.

My Post-broken foot winter protection - I bought these boots to protect my healing foot because they are sturdy, warm and offer great traction. Also they are attractive (except for the necessary rubber bottom ;-) I love the color and the really nice & soft fur collar and all the way inside the boot. I thought the laces would allow me to wear them even though one foot was swollen, yet I was not able to try them right away. The tongue is attached to ensure waterproof and my injured foot was an inch larger in diameter. After a few weeks, though, they slipped right in. The only challenge now is to break in the stiffness of the high tops. Not a big issue.

These boots so far have kept the feet dry and warm in snowy Ohio weather. Comfort could be better; the ease of getting them on and off is very good... I did waterproof them because they were not marked if they were or not... overall I am happy I made the purchase...and less than 24 hours they were delivered! Thank you!

Great snow boot - The lining is really soft and the boots are not as heavy/clunky as the LLBean boots I previously had. Also, the color is a nice change from the usual dark blue/grey/black. I have difficulty finding shoes/boots that fit, being a 10.5/11 w/high arches. With wool winter socks on, the 10.5 was too tight but the 11 was great. I'm not out in the snow much anyway, so I don't know how these compare to boots someone in Minneapolis might wear, but I think they'll be exactly what I need. Sorel's are comfy - I am glad I have purchased these boots. I would again and recommend them to others. I am a 10 and they were true to size. Very comfortable. Looked great with my skirt to church and most comfy and warm.

Sorel's Snow Angel - Very comfortable boot but felt a bit smaller than sized. I also have a very high arch which made it difficult to get my foot into the shoe.

No wet socks! This snowboot is great for Chicago-winter weather. Keeps your feet warm with thicker socks, but the most important thing is that they keep your feet dry. We had a pretty nasty snowstorm that included varying slush and ice. Every curb was surrounded by deep water when the temps finally dropped. Most times, you could not avoid the water. My feet stayed dry anyway. They're still snowboots, so they don't really have an arch support - then again, who's going jogging in the snow? Bought my regular size (8.5) and there is a little extra room. They fit well with a thick winter sock though. As far as a waterproof snowboot goes, they're cute enough. This was definitely a solid purchase.

Great boots... My family and I went to the snow for 5 days and I wore these boots everyday. They were really warm (with good socks and I even used toe warmers), comfortable, and cute! I love ‘em.

Cute, warm, comfortable. A hit as a Christmas present. My adult daughter has wide feet and the regular width and her normal size fit.

A serious test... PRODUCT QUALITY: Very well made and sturdy, the fuzzy inside part of the shoe doesn't "shed" either. LOOK: I didn't feel or look like I was in a clunky snow boot and they fit under my straight-leg jeans just fine. Very attractive and it made my feet look small. FIT: Excellent - my foot and ankles were well supported, even with wearing multi-layers of thick socks. COMFORT: I did my homework prior to purchase - I tried them on at a store before I purchased and decided I'd buy a 1/2 size larger than my regular shoe size - I knew I'd be wearing two pairs of socks or more at any given time. It’s easy to walk in, light and ties up well, the tongue doesn't bunch up or get creased across my feet or ankle area. Fits well and feels good. WARMTH: This is where this shoe does extremely well for I purchased this shoe specifically b/c I took a trip to Fairbanks, AK (the Interior), during the last week of Dec. 06 and into the first week of Jan. 07. The temps. NEVER got above 0 degrees!! It was usually around -5 to -15. I was outside in snow all the time and I even went on a two hour hike through knee deep powder... the boots were very comfortable and kept the snow out. My toes never got chilled during this hike. I even took a ride in a Dog Mushers sled and I sat all wrapped up like a little mummy for over an hour - my feet never got cold. It was -20 that day and with the wind chill due to the speed of being pulled by 10 sled dogs, I'd say it was more like -35 outside. I thought the lack of circulation would cause my feet to freeze, but they never did. I had no problems with this boot at all and would highly suggest this boot as a serious contender for anyone thinking about any sort of winter activity.

These shoes are wonderful! I bought them for a trip to Northern Finland and they are cute and comfy! The grips great for snow and they are very weather-proof. The fur is soft and best of all, they keep my toes so warm! I can wear thin socks or thick socks and they still fit and keep my feet warm. Incredible.

These became available in a size 8 so I ordered them based on previous reviews that suggested ordering down 1/2-1 size. I usually wear 8 1/2-9. Size 8 fit true to size. Too small for me. I wish I could have kept them- they were well made. I sure hope Zappos will restock this boot!

These are great boots. They keep my feet warm in the snow, though your feet have to be warm to begin with. If they are cold, the insulation does not have any heat to keep trapped inside the boot, so your feet remain cold until you have moved enough to get some heat generated (learned that as I was sitting on the bus with cold feet until I got outside walking and then they warmed up). Once it is there though, your feet can actually start sweating from how warm they keep you! I just moved to Chicago and got these boots for the winter here. The first snow I tried them out, and I am very pleased. I did slip on the ice, but I did not fall, and the grip is very good for catching you when you unexpectedly step on an icy patch. I am a 8½ shoe size, so I got the 9 and they fit fine with thick wooly socks. They do not really have arch support, but if your socks are thick enough the cushioning is fine.

I got this pair of Sorel Snow Angel and also purchased a pair of the Sorel Trivoli style boots. Overall, these were the warmest and had a rating of negative 25 degrees. The Trivoli had no temperature rating and were not lined all the way through like the Snow Angel is. I got my usual size 5 and it fit perfectly without heavy socks. I hadn't really planned to wear them with heavy socks because, with the fleece lining, light socks should be warm enough for me. They are very well made and I am sure they will keep the snow and wetness out this winter because they have a rubber sole and outersole. I haven't actually worn them in snowy or wet conditions yet because it is still November and we haven't had snow yet. I decided to keep this pair and return the Trivoli because these will likely be both waterproof and warm. The Trivoli may hold up under wet conditions, but they would likely not be as warm in snowy conditions.
