These run big. I normally am a 7.5 to 8 and ordered the 7-7.50

I normally wear a 40 in Birkenstock but was told years ago to size up with the clogs. In my case, the next size up is too large. Keep in mind Birkenstock sizes are a bit skewed, so in my case, I wear a 10 womens, which makes me a 40. This clog is excellent! Birkenstock had sold out of their stock on their website, but was very fortunate to find my Bostons here at Zappos. They may seem a bit expensive to some, but believe me when I say they are 100% worth it. I have yet to find a more comfortable shoe. I went with the black suede, but will be buying a pair of the mocha when restocked again.

Never in a million years would i have thought to buy a pair of Birks - but read these were the latest and i thought i'd give them a try . Slightly long despite US sizing 4-4.5 (I usually wear a 5) but will be great with socks in the winter. Also , am surprised the narrow width is perfect (I usually wear medium width shoes , so i suspect the regular width would have been huge).

These Birks are the most comfortable shoes I own. I purchased them in black suede, and treated them with suede protectant for rain or spills, which works great.

Overall I think this is a good looking shoe, however,, I didn't realize that there was something like an orthotic in the inside. I heard that the shoe conforms to your feet, but I have high arches to begin with and these didn't feel comfortable to me at all. And I don't think it would improve over time.

Love Birkenstocks - the most comfortable shoes ever.

I love Birkenstocks. I had issue after issue with my feet until I switched. Now I’m pretty much trouble free. The only trouble I have involves wearing non supportive dress shoes so I change into Birkenstocks as soon as I get home and head off any issues.

Ordered the habana leather version which had a smaller fit than the Amalfi leather version. What’s up with that Birkenstock? Both were 38R size but the habana felt to be a size smaller. Another customer pointed this out in their review as well. For the price, these should all be sized uniformly regardless of the leather type used.

This shoe is the best investment that I could make for someone else! She is a medical professional that is on her feet all day and into the night and these shoes will really make a difference in her life; they have in mine!

At first I thought the shoes were too small. My toes hurt but I checked the sizing and the 40 was correct for my 9-91/2 size. I wore them some each day and then tried a full day. I think they just needed to be broken in a bit. Nice and comfy. I only gave them 3 stars for style, let's face it you don't buy them for the style.

I love my suede Birkenstock soft footbed clogs. They are perfect for the Fall time of year. I love them with jeans and also jean capris. Super comfy. I got the narrow width as I want to wear them sock less. I’m tempted to get another color. A plus is that I usually wear orthopedics in my shoes and it’s built in theses. The soft footbed makes a big difference in birks in my opinion.

Birkenstock's are well made for comfort, safety, and ease of entry. I will never love the style, but everyone who wears them, including me, loves the feel and wear.

I wear 12 in Vans, 11.5 in most Adidas so I took a 12 (45) in these. I’ve got a somewhat narrower foot so I went that route as well. I have almost flare feet so a minimum of support helps me so I can’t really speak on the side. I’ve had other Birks and these were the first time I’ve ever tried the soft footbed over the original… I wished I’d tried them before. Straight out of the box they were incredibly comfortable so much so that I’ve not bothered to wear anything else other than my work shoes. If you’re on the fence about the footbed please take my advice and try the soft footbed. In the past there seemed to be a period of break in and I’ve not noticed that with these. Looks- well, they’re Birkenstock and with that being said beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. If you’ve made it this far then you’re interested- quit sticking your toe in the pool and take the plunge.

I wear a size 6 in US sizes. I am a 69 year old grandmother and purchased my first ever pair of Birkenstock sandals last summer. I have lower back issues and found that wearing my Birks sandals definitely made a difference so I tried the Boston this Spring. I'm so glad I did. The 36 Narrow is the perfect fit and I love the soft footbed. I just wish there were more styles offered in the narrow soft footbed in my size. Thank you once again Zappos!

This was my first ever pair of Birkenstocks and they quickly became my favorite pair of shoes once I broke them in. I’m writing this review three years after buying them. I still have them and I still love them. The famous cork footbeds lived up to the hype and then some. They molded to the specific contour of my feet over time, giving me an unrivaled custom fit. My feet are always happy in these shoes. In fact, after I strained my posterior tendon, they nursed my foot back to health with their phenomenal arch support. The whole “foot health” selling point isn’t just a marketing ploy. It’s the real deal. The leather upper has broken in nicely with zero durability issues. The only thing I can say that’s negative is that the tread has worn out disproportionately fast in comparison to the rest of the shoe. But that’s not a dealbreaker. They still have enough grip.

These shoes are great! They’re super comfy and have excellent arch support. The only caveat is I ordered my normal Birkenstock size 38 (I have two pairs of their sandals) with regular width and my toes felt a little smooshed in the toe box. I read other reviews that the leather stretches with wear so I decided to keep them instead of exchange.

Perfect fit! The best fall/winter cooler weather comfortable non-shoe, shoe. Love them!

Love the shoe! I have one foot a full size larger than the other... these still worked beautifully

These shoes never change, and that's a good thing. They are awesome. I wear them as house shoes. They are comfortable and supportive; great for walking on hard tile and wood floors. I originally bought these when I had plantar fascitis. Not only did they help my foot heal, the condition never returned. Correlation is not causation, but I attribute these shoes, which I wear daily, to foot health. The toe box is comfortable for my wide foot; there's enough room to wear socks when needed. The width over the insole is easily adjustable with the buckle. These are great shoes.

6 Regular shoes fit me well with adjustment of the buckle. Expect these to last for a long time and comfortable with suede lining and top - keepers!
