They are unbelievably comfortable but a little wide looking.

TOO SMALL

Way to big in the width.

Great shoe. However not happy with how the box arrived. Shoes were loose in a box that was not original shoe box. No protective packaging at all. Expect more from Zappos.

Regular width is TOO wide.. looks like clown shoes.

I ordered the regular/wide even though Birkenstock says the narrow version fits most women. Glad I did. Fit well and nice color. Only complaint is that they arrived with a smudge on the toe that won't come off -- looks like a grease or oil stain.

I thought the soft footbed would be softer than the original but it's really not. I'm really not sure why they are called soft footbed. These are really cute and stylish with any outfit.

I ordered the narrow in size 39 after trying on the regular width in a shoe store. The length was good, but my feet were too narrow for them. I ordered the 39 in narrow and found it ran small in the narrow width and had to size up.

Needed a size larger than my normal size to feel most comfortable on the top of my foot. I could not get my foot into the same shoe of my regular size.

This is first time to buy Boston for me and I bought US size 7 but it was bit big. I really like to style and color! I used to think Birkenstock is very conservative brand but when I get 40s, this is perfect shoes brand. This shoes is good for all kinds of style and fashions.

These are great except the size. I am a women’s 6, 6 1/2. Width M. I looked at the size chart and it recommended a 37 EU, width M. They are 1/2 size too long and wide. I took them to a cobbler and they had to out in 3 additional holes for the buckle. I would recommend sizing down.

Ever fine about the shoe but when it had to be returned for a different size they charged more. Unacceptable, won’t use Zappos again

I guess I mistakenly ordered a narrow so i need to return.

The shoes are great, but they came in a totally destroyed box. As these are a Christmas gift for my teenager, I am disappointed.

First - I love Birkenstocks. I have at least 12 pairs. These are comfortable and true to size. I've wanted these Boston clogs for so long and finally decided to take the plunge. Of course there was then the wait until they were back in stock (thank you Zappos for letting me know), but once I got them on my feet I was disappointed. The small side section on the inner foot folded over when I walked...every time. Another reviewer mentioned this, and said that it resolved, but I didn't want to risk it not correcting. Perhaps a heavier leather rather than the very soft and floppy suede would be better. I also realized, once I had them on, that open back suede shoes are not the best choice for the pacific northwest wet and cold weather. Hope someone else enjoys them once they are restocked!

I had exchanged my first pair of Bostons for a size smaller since they ran too big & wide. 2nd pair arrived and were too small. Reordered the first size (the size I've worn for 30 years!) and this time they were just fine. So....first time ever that I've experience such inconsistancy in sizing with Birks. That's why only 4 stars instead of fine. What a hassle and waste of time, $ and harm.

Shoes are as advertised, but you will want to spray them with a protectant for wet and wintery weather.

Rubs on my hammertoe and I’m sad about it. I loved my Boston clogs back in the day.

I finally was able to get a pair of these shoes in the correct size; the length and width were correct. However, I have a really high arch and the fit was a little odd on the top of my foot; it just wasn't as comfortable (even for a new pair of Birks--my favorite shoe) as I had expected, and the suede is so light I was a little worried about taking care of it to use as long as I expect from my long-lasting Birks.

These are so comfortable and I love wearing them. They're soft and perfect for slipping on to run errands or go to brunch or something. Definitely recommend while they're still in fashion!

I have a hard time keeping these shoes on my feet when I walk at a steady pace. They keep slipping off. I typically use them like a slipper so it is not that huge of an issue. I just wouldn't wear them to work or running errands much

Hopefully this review will help others who are often between sizes. My athletic shoes are almost all a size 10 US, while all my other shoes and sandals are 9.5 US. I wear a 40 EU (9-9.5 US) in Birkenstock Arizona and Gizeh. They are a perfect fit. I originally ordered the Boston in a 40 EU Narrow, which fit my foot width perfectly, but my heels were all the way back in the cup, without the 5mm (Birkenstock recommends) to spare. My left foot is a tad longer than my right, so I was concerned my heel would end up striking the edge while walking. Barefoot, they seemed good, but I planned to wear them with thin socks most of the time. I decided to order a 41 EU (10-10.5 US) to compare. With thick socks they are perfect, thin socks and barefoot they definitely feel a bit too big. I wish there was a size to accommodate size 9.5-10 US, but oh well! They fit well enough, and like most reviewers say, they are super comfortable and still worth it. A quick note on the width - barefoot and with thin socks, I have even the Narrow width on the tightest strap hole. I've definitely got a narrow foot, but I would think that as a fully grown adult, I shouldn't need to cinch down a narrow shoe all the way - maybe add a few more holes or make the narrow a true narrow :)

Based on reviews I was having a hard time figuring out which size to get. I wear a size 11 in Womens in all my shoes. My feet are a normal width. I bought a Womens 11-11.5 narrow with and they are perfect. Im glad I didnt size down. Would have been too small.
