I finally converted to birks this year. I got sandals over the summer and just got these clogs for fall/winter. I have one foot and ankle that's just an absolute mess, everything makes them hurt but I have done really well with the clogs. I had a cheap pair of knockoffs that my foot kept coming out of and I have not had that problem at all with these!

I knew from history that you should full size down, these fir perfectly, especially knowing they will “give” a little too

I lived in the sandals this summer so I wanted to get a closed toe option for the upcoming cooler months. I'm so pleased with this purchase, the shoes fit perfectly (I ordered based on the suggested/recommended size) and the color is beautiful in person. I was a little confused about the width and which one to order. I read a bunch of the reviews here and the tip from Zappos and went with what Birkenstock considers narrow and I'm happy I chose that. My feet are a normal width and the narrow width provided with this shoe is not narrow at all. If you have any doubts and your feet are considered regular width, go with the narrow.

I love the Boston style! My last pair lasted 10+ years, so I knew it would be a durable shoe and worth the price. I originally got the regular width, which ended up to be too big. The narrow fits perfect though!

Awesomely comfortable clog. Great for working from home and running errands. The shiny black is more dressy for a career gal. The soft footbed is comfy too. These were a gift for my daughter.

A bit wide. If your feet run narrow, you may be happier in a narrow.

These fit just like my birkinstock sandals, comfortable, pretty good arch support. They are just a little plain or clunky looking. I wish that birkinstock could combine their arch and footbed support with something that is more stylish

I usually wear a size smaller in the Arizona but I wanted to wear these with socks to slip on quickly. This size is perfect with socks and they are so comfortable- I love them.

I have been having pains in my feet from (self-diagnosed) plantar fasciitis. An internet search said these shoes were the most supportive and best for this. The internets were right!!! I have worn these shoes every day since and my feet feel great!

I love these shoes so much!!!! They are true to size, comfy, and cuuuuute (well sorta haha). Do yourself a favor and buy these bad boys!

I tried the sandals and love them. So with winter starting I wanted to continue wearing Birkenstock’s so the Boston is the way to go.

Extremely comfortable right out of the box. Once they are off for a while and put back on, they seem to be even more comfortable. The size is NARROW and they seem to fit better than regular. This is my first pair of SOFT BED and whoa, it makes a difference. Quality is top notch. Love them. Birkenstock...please make more colors for the narrow / soft bed shoe! :-)

Love these Birks! the leather is a beautiful blue and very soft. They were comfortable right out of the box. The regular width fits my wide foot perfectly without looking big. I have a leg length discrepancy and the deep heel cup accommodates a half inch lift from Amazon in the heel of my right shoe which eliminates the need and expense to have a lift added to the bottom of the shoe.

Sooo... I’ve attempted to love the Boston’s for 10+ years. Every single time I tried them on, I felt silly and clown like. Way way too wide for my dumb a*s feet and ankles. But, I kept trying to adapt! A week ago, I was searching for quality mules. Birks of course popped up, and I saw ‘narrow.’ Hmmm? Looked into them, and was also interested in the ‘soft sole’ business. With great hesitation, I made the purchase. With GREAT SURPRISE, from the second I put them on, I’m in love! Not too wide, don’t look dopey or clown like, are noticeably more soft and fit perfectly!! My foot is very normal, but the look and feel of the narrow soft Birk simply looks more natural than every other pair of Boston’s, that have all been returned. Thanks Birks...for making an awesome narrow soft supportive shoe! Please make more color options! :-) Thx!

The Bostons fit as my Dansko professionals fit, true to size. I made the mistake of reading other reviews that noted to size down. I originally ordered the 41 narrows for my 10 1/2 B width foot, average arch, and none of the footbed features matched my foot and they were not long enough if I ever wanted to wear socks. I exchanged for the 42 narrow, and the fit is right on, perfect with my wool socks. The brown color ordered was darker than pictured, but I don't really care, they will age well.

These shoes fit well, like my other Birkenstocks. They are true to size 37 narrow. I really like the color and style. We are home so much now that they will be my winter house shoes. Great arch support and I can wear them with socks.

Bostons are a classic style, and probably the first thing other than sandals that people think of when they hear Birkenstock. For a clog, I think they are very cute - simple and unoffensive. I used to wear Birks all the time. I have high arches and numerous past ankle injuries, and Birkenstocks helped me to maintain proper alignment and reduced my pain. For some reason, after my last pair wore out, I decided to wear different shoes for work. I did this for a few years, and I can tell you that my feet and ankles have suffered for it. I recently splurged on these clogs and I could feel the difference immediately. It did take me a few days to readjust to them - these years without proper support took their toll on my foot alignment. However, I am coming home feeling less fatigued, not limping or struggling to walk. It's clear that I do need to stick with Birkenstocks for work and long days on my feet! This was my first time trying the soft footbed. I was worried that it might be less supportive, but thankfully, that is not the case! These are not soft and squishy by any means. They have a bit more cushion to them, but are every bit as supportive as the originals! I think they were also faster to break in! I'm very glad that Birks are back in style right now, because they are truly amazing shoes, especially for those of us with foot and ankle problems!

Totally old school. Totally high quality. Totally comfortable. Totally practical.

These may not be the prettiest, but they are the comfiest! I’m a runner and work out often so, my feet tend to hurt. These are supportive and feel great on. They’re wonderful as both shoes to wear out of the house and as slippers inside as well. Definitely worth it because Birkenstocks last forever!

These fit and look as advertised. I got the Mink suede in size 41N (I'm usually a size 9.5/10M) and they are so comfortable, I've been wearing them every day since the moment they arrived. Plenty of wiggle room in the toe box and the soft footbed isn't as fatiguing after a full day's wear as my other Birks with the classic footbed can be. Haven't tried them with socks yet, but I think once the suede breaks in and gives a little, these will work great for cooler weather, too.

The leather rubbed the top of my toe knuckle. Had to return.

Love Birkenstock’s! Have about 20 pairs of them. Wanted black soft bed Boston’s in narrow but they don’t make a narrow. Thought I would give the regular hoping they would fit with socks. Sadly they were still too wide.
