I wear an 8.5-9, normally a 39 narrow in Birkenstocks. I ordered these in a 40 narrow and they are perfect! Room to wear with or without socks.

My experience with Birkenstocks from Zappos has been hit and miss as far as the quality (or having been worn previously) so thankfully they have amazing customer service. Not sure what happened with this pair. The arch support seems minimal, and the footbed just wouldn't break in, almost like there was an extra/double layer of foam in the soft footbed? Really strange. I've owned soft footbed Birks in the past. The leather on these seemed to stretch excessively as well and I'm not hard on my shoes at all, I take care of them.

I purchased these for my son with a narrow width foot. He typically wears a men's size 10 or 10 1/2. We purchased the narrow width, which was a good fit, width-wise. We purchased a size 43, this was way too long, and so we returned them. Zappos was very helpful and made the return easy. If you have a skinny foot, it may be right to size down. We are on the wait list for the correct size, I like the way Zappos manages this aspect too.

Love this shoe. It’s comfortable and helps me rock a causal look. Only complaint is that is seems to run a half size larger than the other Birkenstocks I own.

They fit perfectly and will last a few years, so they’re well worth the money.

The material feels thin and not so good quality.

The most comfortable shoes I own! I was between sizes, so going a size down was the right move for my narrow feet.

The fit was not acceptable. They were so wide! I really could not walk in them.The style was good but, the width was wrong. The arch support was useless because of the clog's excessive width. I normally wear a women's 7.5 wide shoe and /or sandal so, I thought these would be ok but, they weren't.

I love my new Bostons! I have a narrow foot and wear a 9-1/2 in street shoes, and a 10 in athletic shoes. Size 9 - 9/12 were just right in these.

So comfortable! I have a narrow foot and high arch. The size narrow in Boston works, if I adjust the buckle to the tightest spot. The arch support is excellent, and the soft foot bed makes me want to wear these shoes every day.

Had a scuff on the left shoe that I wasn’t happy about. I had to return them twice because of sizing issues and the other two pairs were alright. I got this pair and there’s the scuff. Kinda disappointed but after all this I’ll keep them. They are still comfortable and cool to me.

Great for walking and just right for wearing with jeans, shorts, and maxi dresses. I saw so many women wearing these while visiting Lisbon last month that I decided then to order from Zappos once I was back.

Well made and comfortable. Unfortunately they don’t work with my specific foot issues. I wish they did!

I loved these shoes and wore them to work since I got them in Early November I am a nurse and walk a fair amount but to only have the for 6 or 7 months the tread is almost completely worn off I keep slipping in them now and I fear the day I will break my neck. The leather upper lasted fine and they are comfy but I need a cobbler stat

A little stiff but I’m sure will soften with use.

Great Birkenstocks! No break in needed at all. Not the most stylish but that is expected with this style- they are a bit clunky in appearance but are actually light and wonderfully comfortable.

I have been a fan of Birkenstocks for over 15 years. I have arthritis and find many shoes painful to wear. My Birkenstocks give me comfort and support.

Flap moves around too much.
