Just too big. Had to return because of size.

These shoes are not only massive because you can only buy them in a X/X.5, but they also developed this really strange dark spot in the bed after just a week of wearing them. I couldn't get it out and so now I'm returning them.

European sizing is more consistently accurate over time so order 1/2 to 1 full size less than your size in US athletic shoes. I wear 9-9.5 in Running shoes and had to size down to 8-8.5 in Birkies.

The Birkenstock are made with top quality material. I enjoy my new Birkenstock Boston very comfortable.

Hopefully this review will help others who are often between sizes. My athletic shoes are almost all a size 10 US, while all my other shoes and sandals are 9.5 US. I wear a 40 EU (9-9.5 US) in Birkenstock Arizona and Gizeh. They are a perfect fit. I originally ordered the Boston in a 40 EU Narrow, which fit my foot width perfectly, but my heels were all the way back in the cup, without the 5mm (Birkenstock recommends) to spare. My left foot is a tad longer than my right, so I was concerned my heel would end up striking the edge while walking. Barefoot, they seemed good, but I planned to wear them with thin socks most of the time. I decided to order a 41 EU (10-10.5 US) to compare. With thick socks they are perfect, thin socks and barefoot they definitely feel a bit too big. I wish there was a size to accommodate size 9.5-10 US, but oh well! They fit well enough, and like most reviewers say, they are super comfortable and still worth it. A quick note on the width - barefoot and with thin socks, I have even the Narrow width on the tightest strap hole. I've definitely got a narrow foot, but I would think that as a fully grown adult, I shouldn't need to cinch down a narrow shoe all the way - maybe add a few more holes or make the narrow a true narrow :)

So cute!! Easy to slip on and goes with everything!! Good to wear in all seasons!! Some may think they’re not that attractive, but I think they look so good!

These will not stay on

This item came with no box, no tissue just loose in a random box. They were scuffed and had been worn. Terrible that Zappos would send this item out and waste my time having to return.

A Birkenstock classic that you can’t go wrong with.

These are so comfortable!! I normally wear an 8/8.5 but I sized down like I usually do in Birkenstock’s. At first they were a little tight so I was nervous but through the day they loosened up slightly and now they’re perfect. So glad the taupe finally came back in stock!

SO SO comfortable. I love the soft, supportive footbed and the soft suede upper.

Just too narrow, footbed was not comfortable but I have wide feet - also may have took some time mold to my foot. Looked cool but had to return.

The most comfortable shoes I own! Since I ordered a lighter shade (taupe), I sprayed them with suede protector to minimize stains and water damage from getting caught unexpectedly in rain.

Size and fit were great. I returned because the color and texture was not what I was looking for.

I keep getting a grey knock off Boston clog when I should be getting the color taupe! The buckle on the sides say Birken? Not Birkenstock. Every image I google and even my other Birks say Birkenstock.

I bought a pair of black Birkenstock Bostons last August, and wore them on near-repeat through the fall and winter. They still look great, and they're unbelievably comfortable. I just added a second pair in taupe, which are in high demand and hard to find. Love these shoes!

The size was perfect for me and this colorway is hard to find.

I normally wear 6.5 and have a wide forefoot and a narrow heel. I wear a 37 in most European shoes. But I wear a 36 in Birkenstock sandals. I bought the Boston soft footbed in a 36, in black suede. It feels sloppy on my foot, like I have to work to keep it on. Even with the straps tightened all the way. Otherwise it’s the usual comfy Birk footbed. The black suede also had a burnished (worn?) round spot on the top of both shoes that was noticeable. I returned them. For the price, they should be perfect and I didn’t like the fit.

They’ve been worn before. Dirt on the bottom and the color is off. Will be returning. What a bummer.

I am pretty sure I received defective shoes and there is almost an inch of extra room on the outside of each shoe almost like a bunion. I even picked “narrow width” so safe because they are cute but I can’t keep them on my feet at all and now there sold out again

Based on reviews I was having a hard time figuring out which size to get. I wear a size 11 in Womens in all my shoes. My feet are a normal width. I bought a Womens 11-11.5 narrow with and they are perfect. Im glad I didnt size down. Would have been too small.
