NEED HALF SIZES - These run large. My son had to try 3 different sizes before finding the one that works best, but is still too small. Need a half size bigger but they don't come in half sizes for some reason. He loves the look and the comfort even if a little tight.

Too big - This shoe looks and feels great except that it is too big for its size. I ordered a size 14, which is rare to find as it is, but the shoe is much bigger than suspected. of course, I didn’t bother reading all that stuff about ripping out the tags, walking around, etc., in order to return it. Would recommend the shoe...just make sure the size is what you need.

too big - I really liked these shoes,but.... they are very loose in the heel and are more like clogs. I wish I didnt throw away the box I would have returned them

Review - Comfort only comes after a break-in period. Size seems smaller than marked however, after a break-in period comfort improves.

The shoe is so shallow my heel wasn't even halfway into the shoe and everytime I took a step would completely slip out. Never had an issue like this before, but I guess i could have unusually high arches or something that had my heel set extra high??

Not as comfortable as the DC shoes like these ones. The stitching also came loose after a month or two of wear, don't waste your money on this.

I really wanted to like these slip-ons, but it wasn't meant to be. In addition to being a bit floppy (might run a half-size or more larger) the stitching began to come apart within one week of very light wear around the house. Thumbs up for Zappos return policy. Thumbs down for the Castro from Globe.

They are very shallow, they pop off my heel with each step. They are very loud when walking and squeak terribly on the hard wood floor. I love they way they look, but they just don't fit right and are not at all warm. I love Zappos. I am shipping them back and trying a different brand! Thanks again Zappos, you have a great return policy!

Stitching on one of the shoes came loose after about two months. I know the price isn't a ton of money compared to some of the other choices here, but I expected better than I got for it. Since I managed to mess up exterior of them trying to clean some small spots off, I guess I'll just take the loss on this one. As always, Zappos service was great. I'll order here again.

I purchased these for my son to wear as slippers around the house. Within one month the stitching began to unravel. They are basically unwearable now and, because I had an exchange and a return on worn shoes last year, Zappos will not exchange them for me. I am contacting Globe directly but, I would say these would not be a recommended style. Still love Zappos!!!

Not what I expected - These shoes were not comfortable, and when I walk my heel comes out very easily. Plus I thought they looked very narrow and weird on my feet.

More like Flip-Flops not Slippers - I love the look of these shoes but I got them to wear as slippers and they only work as slippers when I'm wearing thick socks - otherwise they're basically closed-toed flip flops. They won't last the season because as soon as it warms up and I stop wearing socks to bed these will be utterly useless to me.

Ehhh. The fit of the Globe Castros is horrible. They feel a half size or so larger than marked, but they are so narrow that they feel smaller than they actually are. To clear things up, if you have wide feet and order your normal size, they will be way too narrow in the front, but way too big in the back, which makes them both hurt your feet and flop up and down all at the same time. Overall, I am very disappointed.

Flawed Design - I bought my Castro for use as slippers (for a 55 year old man) in a carpeted home, so they saw very light service. After a few months the left shoe broke in half at the front edge of the black rectangle in the sole. Then it quickly failed completely across the area that bends with my step. They were nice until that happened.

Disappointed in Quality - My son loved these shoes and asked for them for Christmas. Shoes look great, felt great however only two weeks later the stitching has come out and unraveled the top of the shoe. I have had them repaired but can see that the shoe design is not the best. I would probably not buy these again because of the inferior design which is a shame because they do look great.

I have to return them after only 3 days of use. The stitching became unraveled. Very disappointed.

My husband wore these shoes only inside as slippers and the stitching on top is already coming undone.

The stitching around the top edge of the upper came unraveled after one day of light indoor-only walking around the house. The unraveling started on the outside edge of the stitching, at the "front left" corner of the opening for the left foot, and proceeded about 1/3 the way around the front edge, like a zipper. The shoe just kind of fell apart and flopped off mid-stride (walking). Thank goodness for Zappos' super easy returns ... going back out the door after just one day of use. The fit was nice, a bit narrow but not too narrow, and more arch support than I expected, which is to say, moderate arch support. I loved the herringbone fabric look. But I'll replace with a different brand/model since I'm not confident in the quality of the construction.

I liked the shoes at first. They were comfortable and I wore them as slippers. After a month, the stitching came apart on one of the shoes. The shoes are now sitting in the closet because I can't wear one of them.

One star because the lacing on the top of one slipper came undone after just one week. Will now incur the expense of a trip to the shoe repair shop.

Painful slipper - I tried wearing them for a day in normal use around the house but they kept pinching in different places. I tried just wearing them when I was sitting and working with no weight on the feet at all and even then they hurt. Actually, my feet hurt much worse after removing the slippers. These slippers just didn't work for me. It might have been that this particular pair of slippers was defective -- Zappos really came to the rescue here and took them back without a problem and I've gotten another pair that works great. I'd strongly recommend not getting this particular model.

Lame - These are the worst "slippers" I've ever worn in my life. They are more like shoes that fall off your foot when you walk. Very loud on the hard wood floor. I think of slippers as something more comfortable than shoes to wear, not less. Totally weak.

Comfy! When I first put these on, I was amazed about how comfortable these are. I have the White/Black/Gold ones and they look more like a loafer than a sneaker. And they go with jeans very well. I hope they come out with more styles in leather.

Disappointment - The shoe, though marked the size that I typically wear, is substantially too small and is substantially smaller than my other size 15 medium shoes. In addition, the coloring of the shoe only vaguely resembles that which is pictured on the web page. I am returning the shoes and hope to be able to give the return process a much higher rating.
