It looks to be a high quality boot. I have wide feet and sometimes wear a 14, but the 13 EE fits perfectly. I try hard to buy American, and that's not easy in shoes, but "Made in USA" says it all.

My second pair of this style. I purchased my first last December before traveling to Europe. I wanted a boot heavy enough for whatever winter weather I might encounter, look good with jeans, comfort, and if I had to kick someone's ass. It fit the bill perfectly. It was a bit tough to take on and off initially, but it is easier now. I wear this pair for everything (work, play, etc., as I wear jeans pretty much all the time). I purchased a new pair as 'back-up' this past month. I wear them with 'dress/dark' jeans when stepping out. I like these boots. They fit pretty true to size. Not my first Chippewa. I've probably purchased 6 pair or so of different types over the years, 3 or 4 pair as gifts, etc., but this is my favorite daily wearer. I read complaints about the buckles, but they're not even visible with jeans on. No big deal for me. Quality USA product.

My husband loves these boots so much I have just ordered him his second pair. His first pair lasted years and years. Try them, you'll love them!

This boot above all is comfortable. The quality is very good, the look is good and they are made in the United States which I think does say something for the integrity of the boot and the company. These boots are made to be worn with a comfy sock and go on and come off easy. I like them for a somewhat bold casual look when worn with leggings or tight jeans. Thank you Zappos for your always fast and attentive service.

Not my first Chippewa boot, but my first Engineer boot. It is great! Good fit right out of the box, comfortable, and looks great with jeans. I needed boots for travel to Eastern Europe not knowing what conditions I might encounter. I could wear them with dark jeans to dinner, and they were generally comfortable to walk around in with the right socks. They are a bit tough to pull on and off, but its getting better, but that is good for slimmer profile. I'm very happy with Zappos too. I've always had the very best service, and boots get to me so quickly.

First of all need to add a comment for Zappos. Best place to get footwear. Ground shipping is very fast. I ordered my boots Saturday morning and received them Monday afternoon. Zappos has the style of footwear that local stores don't offer. It's very frustrating for me to go to those stores like the ones in malls and find a shoe that I like but they don't have my size. I wear a size 8D and I don't think that it's a unusual size for those stores. It's far much easier to shop Zappos. And their presentation along with their videos is as good as it gets without having to see the footwear in person. Now back to the boot. This is my 4th Chippewa boot. They make durable boots especially the ones with vibram soles and unless a person drags their feet when walking, they won't ever have to get the soles replaced. This engineer boot is reasonably comfortable but be forewarned, this boot is not sneaker comfortable. I had to put a pair if thin insoles to make it little more comfortable. But for motorcycle riding there's that heftiness in the leather that gives me assurance if I ever get in a spill. The price is right for these boots. I've never owned a pair of Wesco boots so I can't compared these Chippewas with Wesco boots. But the Chippewas I've owned are built to last.

Due to size requirements (6EE) it is very difficult to find boots I like and that fit. I am happy with both. Shaft (calf) part is a little snug. Top quality!

The Chippewa Engineer Boot looks better in person than in the pictures. Many of the reviews do not do the boot justice. When reading through reviews, it became obvious that some were written by people who typically wear boots and some were written by people who are not used to how boots fit. The Chippewa fits like a good boot should. Adding a pair of boot socks is a plus. Sizing is on the mark. Quality is top notch and Made in the USA a plus. Thanks for providing a great American Made product!

Fantastic. Little hard to pull on at first, but that will change over time. Fit is nearly perfect, no scrunched toes, width is good. Well made, seem like they will last a good long time. Plus, USA-made, if I'm not mistaken. Plus, on sale. What's not to love?

I beat my boots/shoes to hell. These will take a beating for years, no doubt. I ride everyday everywhere and these are perfect for the job.

Really great boot. Seems like high-quality construction, and its made in the USA which is a plus. Before I ordered these, I had tried the Bates Palomar boot, but returned them because the shaft was too wide and would not fit under my jeans. The Chippewa has a much slimmer shaft and works fits well under more slim fit jeans. So far, they seem fairly comfortable, although after a walk in the first few days of wearing them, they were a bit painful. I imagine they will break in eventually. I've added a gel insole for extra comfort. I have narrow feet and the narrow width size fit great. Great, classic boot.
