The reason I gave this score is because I love my fat babies. I have 2 pair. It takes a little bit of time to break them in, but once they are broken in; they fit like a glove. They are comfortable for long term wear, and worth every penny
My boots separated at the soles after 5 years of wearing them in mud, and water. The only complaint I have is they are not stitched at the soles, they are glued.

I have small feet and large calves.these boots fit and look normal with some room to spare! I bought these for a wedding later this summer, so I have only worn them around the house a bit. I think they are going to be quite comfortable.

I had an Ariat hiking boot for many years. The style has been discontinued so I tried the Terrain. I love it for long distance pavement walking. It also works well on uneven ground. It is a bit larger than my previous boot but I know the smaller size will be too small and tight.

Love the boot. Second pair. I just wish I'd know the leopard print had the gold lame' look mixed in. Not a fan of that

I have had a couple pairs of Terrains. They are vey comfortable shoes needing little to no break-in! With a name like "Terrain", you would think they would have a more aggressive tread. These are great for hard surfaces but not so much for loose material trails or gravel. The laces for some reason never stay tied. I know, I know..just replace the laces. Other than that I really like them and would definitely get another pair!

Very comfortable out of the box- great for riding, but not so much for chores & saddling. I got stepped on my first day wearing them & I'm lucky it wasn't one of our draft horses. Great wiggle room in the toe box & very light. I would say they are a light cushion shoe, but as mentioned very comfortable with no break in time.

Watch out--they're huge. I had to order 1.5 sizes down. They are also wide so if you have narrow feet, I would not recommend them. If you get the right size, they are very comfortable, waterproof, and did great on extensive hikes!

I went to my local boot barn to try on a bunch of different Ariat boots in store to see what fit and found these! They were more expensive in-store so I bought them online but no matter if I got the size 9 or 8.5 they were too loose. I like having pretty tight boots at first so the leather can expand and form to my foot. Had to unfortunately return these and go back to buy the in-person boots that fit like a glove.

Very nicely made. I have an older pair in the same style but wanted a darker brown. I ordered the same size as my others but these are a tighter. I am keeping them hoping they will stretch.

Beautiful boot and so comfortable to wear. Ive been looking for a boot like this for months and finally resolved to just try the online purchase. It was easy, convenient, and I loved the helpful print out tools to help you get the right fit.

This is a very comfortable boot both for walking and riding. As other reviews stated, they do run big. I wear an 8.5 and was swimming in those-- sized down to an 8 and the fit is great with exception of the ankle area which still seems roomier than I'd prefer. However it allows flexibility in the stirrups when riding. The Breeze half chaps pair perfectly with this boot. I will be using this comfortable lightweight combo for an upcoming horseback Safari.

I ordered my usual shoe size and it fit as far as length (granted I think this style of boot is supposed to be a little long). However, if you think you might have wide feet or have flat feet, order the wide.

I had a pair of these years ago that lasted for over ten years but then my feet got fat!! Im so happy that Ive found them again to order myself a new pair. These Heritage R Toe boots came quickly and have the comfort and style Ive come to rely on with Ariat boots. I just cant bring myself to by other boots anymore - Ive become too spoiled with Ariat. I would recommend them to anyone!

Love the look of these boots and overall am happy. The only thing I would change is how tight they are on the top of my feet. Maybe they just need more breaking into (I've had them for a few weeks now) but that's just me.

I think these boots are great. I got them as a goft for my dad's birthday because I know he's been eyeing them. Unfortunately, the Earth color that I purchased came and the top half is a muddy greenish shade of brown, rather than a nice lighter tan contrast as shown in the photo. I hope my dad still likes it, but I personally am really disappointed and if they were for me I'd be returning. :( Otherwise, seems like a great quality boot.

I ordered two pair of the Heritage Western R Toe distressed and had to return both pair. I would not recommend these boots, however, they are definitely good looking and stylish boots. The seams running down the inside of the boots are not covered and they rubbed my ankles. I replaced these boots with the Womens Lively Sassy Brown and I love these boots. The seams in the boots are covered in this style and this boot is definitely worth the money.

I love my boots, I have been using this specific boot for 10+ years; they brand for 20+ years. As time goes they seem to deteriorate faster. I am hard on them, generally wearing them daily. I do an extra treatment for waterproofing. Occasionally there is a hiccup Ariat generally is extremely supportive of their products. I have been wearing this boot about two weeks and the second metal eyelet came out. One of the things I really like about all of the like-kind Ariat Boots is the extra eyelet protection. They generally last a couple of years; with daily use as a construction project Manager, and also as a disaster inspector, my boots really take a beating. They fit extremely well with good support.

Im happy with them, and Id like to answer some questions people might have, as well as give my opinion, so: they do stretch a little, but Im not trying to stretch them so I dont know if you can purposely get them to stretch and it will work; I wear them at work and enjoy having a slip resistant boot with a little heal; the design is pretty but there is more of a lightly colored stitch outlining the design than I could see in the picture; I got a wide foot but regular calf, and I think that if you have very wide feet then you should get an extra wide boot, or maybe youll need to get wide and a wide calf because it can become a little tight getting through the ankle area of the boot, but there is still a little moving room with my foot inside (like maybe I should have gotten. 7.5). Lastly, they seem to be of good quality, like not going to get messed up easily.

I love the design and color. Overall the fit is fine, though the instep is slightly narrower all around than other Ariat boots in the same size that I own, and the calf is pretty wide. Also, it has the traditional very stiff leather, and I would recommend some breaking-in.
