So Impressive, I Bought A Second Pair! When my shoe salesman brought out the pair of rust Seawalkers, I said, "No way!" But as soon as he slipped them onto my feet, I knew I was in trouble. They fit like a dream from the very first moment and although they were not the dress shoes I had planned to purchase, I could not resist buying them. I am very glad I did. So glad, in fact, that I returned after three weeks and bought a black pair as well. In addition to weekend service, I now wear them with dress slacks and shirt and tie at work and frankly don't care whether people think they are appropriate or not. My feet feel great at the end of the day and that's what matters most! I am sold on Ecco quality, fit and performance!! My next purchase will be a pair of Ecco hiking boots.

Best Shoes Ever. I have tried many shoes over my life. I travel a lot and run through airports all around the world. The Ecco SeaWalker shoes are the most comfortable long lasting shoes I have ever owned. They are worth their weight in gold.

High Quality at Reasonable Price. Overall, the Ecco Sea Walker is one of the most comfortable, best fitting shoes I have found in years. The quality is close to a $300 Mephisto or Finn Comfort Shoe at half the price. I bought mine for casual wear, but have also used them for hikes of 2 miles for so. A great all around shoe, especially good for traveling when you don't have room to pack a second pair of shoes. For those of us with foot problems, the wide toe box, smooth leather lining and soft nubuck uppers are especially nice features. Compared to some other Eccos, these shoes run a little short; so order up if you are borderline on sizes. I like the Sea Walker so well, I just ordered the slip-on version from Zappos.

Excellent fit, comfort, looks, and price. This is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever purchased! The quality and workmanship are outstanding and unsurpassed in my opinion, which is indicative of Ecco shoes. I shopped all over the internet for this shoe and Zappos was my choice. Zappos service was first rate.

From Richard Headley: Hi, I would just like to say I've owned two pair of SeaWalkers and they're the very best shoes I've ever worn. I work as a barber and am on my feet ten to twelve hours a day. I've never had any foot problems thanks to ECCO.

Feels so good... These shoes are very nice, they just feel so good. Can't tell you how long they last, only had them a few months. They also look very nice, great with tan pants. Yep. Buy these shoes.

Ecco Cross. I am a large built man, and on my feet sometimes 10 hours a day. I'm in the car business. I'm now on my 4th pair of Cross Ecco shoes, since 1992, -and only to change colors! These shoes look great and perform unbelievable! I've given away all of my fancy Italian designer shoes for the #1 Ecco line! Thanks- WT

Dedicated Owner of a Variety (5 Pairs) of Ecco Shoes. I own the Walker, Sea Walker, Brown Wingtip Nubuck, Black Leather Wingtip, and Black Captoe Nubuck. My next pair of hiking boots will be Eccos. Only the Cochran Jump Boot compares in comfort and fit to the Ecco line of footware. As for looks, the Sea Walker is less attractive than my other Ecco models, but it is the equal in functional value. The Ecco uppers never seem to wear out. The soles have a limited liftime, though it my take some time for them to show significant wear. Over all, any Ecco is a great buy and a better value for the dollars invested.

Soles looked funny at first... I have fallen in love with ECCOs. My pair is the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. The quality is not lacking anywhere. Even the laces are heavy duty and 1st class. In the rain, they stay dry due to the soles being one integrated piece with the shoe upper. When they get dirty, I just wipe them with a damp cloth to make them look like new. I really have never had a better wearing shoe. The only thing I would change is the clunky-looking sole, but I forgot about it a few minutes after walking in them. Buy a pair - YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

Great, light and nice fit - Very comfortable, I usually take 3-4 weeks to break in a shoe. I started wearing these full time within 2 days

I bought here before, and had good service. Not this time! I waited on the phone forever. I can buy it somewhere else, without the aggrivation.

Great dressing shoes, not comfortable! This shoes is really very good looking and dressy. It's ok comfortable. It definitely is not the comparable to SAS or the old Rockport walking shoes in terms of comfort. If you want a dress shoes and still be comfort (compare to otehr dress shoes), this is it. If you are looking for a real comfort walking shoes, look for SAS and Rpckport. My normal size is US 10 2W. This shoes just fit. Recommended.

Great Shoe all around - I like the fit, and the look. However, the price is a bit too high.

I recently went to replace my Ecco Trak 11 Lows. The first pair’s toe kind of collapsed after a couple months and they were replaced. The second’s sole sort of disintegrated after 2 years. Other than that, these were by far the best shoes I've ever owned! I purchased these Sea Walker as I wanted something not quite so heavy duty looking. These are definitely not as robust in construction, feel, etc. They fit as ordered and are very comfortable. My only concern is if the stitching on the top of the shoe will begin to wear out, although it does appear to be well recessed. I do intend to get another pair of Trak 2's this fall for winter use. I hope they have solved the problem with the sole material.

Best fit for my Fred Flintstone Feet - I have large wide feet, most shoes are much to narrow. Only a few brands properly accomodate my type of feet. Ecco shoes not only fit my feet but look the best too. My only compaint would be the quality of the shoe lace. I wear my shoes almost every day. Shoe lace only last me about 6 months. The shoes last much longer. The last pair I had lasted for almost three years of non-stop use. Great product, Great looks too.

Daryl from Nashville - I have 2 pair of Cross shoes that have lasted 4 years. I'm a retail manager, and am on my feet 10 hours per day. No shoe has lasted more than 8 months to a year. I thought I would try something different, so I chose the Seawalker. It does feel different from the Cross, I think the difference is in the sole design, but it's still quite comfortable. I have a very narrow heel, and these shoes fit more snuggly than I expected. (This is good for me) I wear a 40, it fits like a 40. I would highly recommend the Cross if you're on your feet a lot, and the Seawalker would be next. I'm still getting used to them, so I'll give another review in a few months.

ECCO Forever. I currently have 6 pair of ECCO shoes and this pair, while a good looking comfortable shoe, is probably my least favorite. The build quality is not as good as ECCO's dress shoes. That said, this ECCO model is still a far better shoe than 90+% of the casual shoes made today. If you are going to do a lot of walking, I suggest that you consider Mephisto.

I've owned several pairs of ECCO shoes and they're all excellent in wear and stay in good shape. All these shoes are "comfort" style.

Ecco Seawalker I have had two pairs of Seawalkers. They do not provide any support for my relatively high arches, causing my feet slight discomfort, especially in the heel and arches. I might try the Ecco Cross'. I also found them to run a full size big. For reference, I normally wear a size 7-7.5, so I bought their size 41 and found them to be way too big. I ordered a size 40 and also found them to be slightly big. On the plus side, I found the Seawalkers to be very stylish and exceptionally well made. The stitching throughout is absolutely perfect, just amazing. The finish on the leather is also flawless. The quality is on par with the much more expensive Mephisto Tyrus shoes I own. So in this regard, they are a great value even at $150. The comfort fiber insole has an amazing ability to absorb foot moisture. I have sweaty feet and they feel perfectly dry at the end of the day. The soles seem to be durable. I wore the shoes for 6 month and they show absolutely no wear. Overall, these are great shoes if they fit your feet well.
