Very well made, these boots will be with me for a long time!

Husband really liked style and sole of boot. The comfortable insole was a plus.

Bought half size smaller than my traditional tennis shoe size and boots for perfect.

This is the third pair of Ariat Ropers, I've owned. I wore them as pilot for many years. The fact that they have a composite, rather than steel shank makes them a breeze through airport scanners. They happen to have exactly my size and fit, (10 EE), so they are very comfortable, right out of the box. I have seen reviews noting that the wide instep does not cause a slipping heel for those of us with "duck like" feet. They last much longer than my Pronating gait would normally expect. More than one set of heels. I can't recommend them any more highly. I did notice that this last pair has a more pointed toe than the previous pairs. Not the $#!+kicker, "look at me, I'm a cowboy" type of toe, but I did prefer the older wide toe. (Just so ya know, my all time favorite boot, that I do wear at times, is a pair of Tony Lama, 4x as expensive, 14", with a "doggin' heel" that were custom built for me long ago.) In the military we had only one kind of uniform boot, and I did learn to like those Wellingtons. Can't get 'em, now.

Have had Ariat roper boots for many years. These boots felt half a size smaller than previous boots.

Comfortable and well made

This is my second pair. The first didn't wear put, my feet got larger. I loved them so much, I decided to make this my next payer, also. Comfort and durability!

These did require a break-in period as expected with boots of this style. Footbed seemed wider than normal, which isn't a bad thing depending on your foot, however thick socks were needed.
