These are great boots and will hold up in whatever you use them for. A little heavy because of the steel toe but you get used to it. Very comfortable!

I bought these boots after failing to find any woman's boots that were waterproof with steel toe and thinsulate. I found them easy to break in and quite comfortable. However, they do seem wider than marked and I also would prefer if they if they had hooks at the top rather than lacing all the way up.

Timberland PRO Direct Attach 6" Steel Toe - This is the first work boot I've purchased of this type, so my review might not be as accurate as some with regards to this type of boot. After some research on the internet and a visit to two retailers (one 10 miles away, another 75 miles away), I decided to purchase this pair of work boots. Per other people that have owned this shoe, they state it's the most comfortable they've worn; I'll take their word for it because as stated before, I've never owned a workboot like this. Two things drew me to purchasing this boot: Its classic workboot looks and other built-in features (steel-toe, slip resistance, electrical resistance, water resistance); a nice blend of options for what you pay. After trying on the boot, though it's marked "wide," I found it to feel a bit constrictive on the toes (my only complaint). I don't know if this is temporary (I've only worn the shoe an hour) or something more permanent, possibly due to the steel toe feature. I've worn other types of steel toed shoes (I work in the fire service), this "wide" pair felt a bit narrow in the toes by comparison, especially on one side. Everything else about this boot is true to description (size, style...). My plan is to wear this boot a bit longer before I make a final decision; otherwise it seems to be a great boot with a lot of nice features. I'm basically happy that I bought this boot and hope that as I wear it; the narrowness in the toes works itself out.

Great boots - I think these boots look cool and rugged without having the "ghetto" look of regular Timberland work boots. They work great for wet, muddy conditions. My only complaint is that the steel toes chafe, but that's probably my fault for not buying a pair of steel-toe boot socks. So I'm gonna go do that.

Bigger means better, I rekon. These boots fit great. They are comfortable and available in the large size it takes for a large person (size 15). Have only one problem. Having to work on 18 wheeler trailers, I have to crawl under the vehicle quite a lot. So far the toe area of the boot is getting scraped and broken. Perhaps if some hard surface material was set on top of the toe would allow the normal wear of the boot under these conditions. Otherwise I certainly don't have a complaint.

Can't find them at Sears in "w" wide - I have been wearing Timberland boot's for three years...I always got them at Sears... Now Sears does not carry "w" wide boots in this style "Pro." So I looked online for them and my search ended here!

Keep your feet safe, dry and happy! These Timberlands are probably the best steel toe, water-proof boots you can find anywhere. I just recently purchased my second pair. My first pair lasted me a little over a year with constant exposure to water, mud, and unfinished concrete six days a week. Also, let me add that I never cleaned them or added those special oils or lubricants that they recommend using and I still got a good 13/14 months use out of them. As far as comfort goes, they are as comfortable a boot as you will find and I spend roughly 14 hours a day in them. I definitely will purchase this boot again in another year or so.

I work in Aviation and have had a pair for a little over a year now. The boot started to fall apart in a few different spots and water was getting in so I ordered another pair in August. Those came in and I had issues with the left boot fitting too tight. I missed the 90 day window since I was trying to break them in so I went back to my original pair. Going to give them another shot since they really are comfortable. I have had the regular boots all my life so these two last PRO pairs not lasting or not fitting right are disappointing for too say the least. I would still recommend with caution though.

Uncomfortable unless you have narrow feet, and even if you do the shoes are heavy but made solid and look great. I’ll have to get some other shoes tho cause they give me blisters

These boots are really comfortable and they can be worn for a long time without excessively aching feet. They are definitely durable, however it says slip-resistant, I work as a Janitor I'm constantly slipping and falling over mopped floors. It's a real shame because I bought these specifically as my work boots and they fail to meet the standard, honestly even my running shoes don't slide as much as these. Note this is specifically for wet tile or linoleum floors, but considering that's all I work onit's a shame for the price.

This style is very comfortable, I currently work as a food service delivery driver. I never had issues with my feet being cold throughout the winter, and they hold up very well working in rainy conditions. The issue I have with the boot is the traction when stepping on slippery surfaces. As well as the traction when walking up the ramp into the trailer. They are a little on the heavy side but I was able to manage.

These boots were lovely; however, they were far too narrow and wide size wasn't an option when I purchased them. Please offer women's wide size for these boots. Men's have wide and 3 color choices.

These boots are not offered in a narrow size so if you have average to narrow feet they are too wide.

My recommendation to anyone is to get at least .5 size bigger. Because your actual size may be too small. I wear 10.5, but it felt like 10. like I was forcing my feet, and my toes were curling up inside the boots. I couldn't walk 50ft, and I went back to my old raggedy & destroyed boots. Too uncomfortable on my size. I want to try a bigger size. Just waiting for my refunds, since they don't do exchanges.

So I'm a contractor and I got tired of trashing crepe sole Red Wings every 6 months, and I thought I'd give these a try. They look great, are waterproof, and price is right. 9.5, my usual size felt OK at 1st, but oh man, these things did not feel right a few hours on the job. Cut to the boots' first day on a job, building a stone retaining wall, in the mud, on a hill, and the toe box feels too large and I'm having problems getting them tight enough. I'm not sure if my foot is narrow, or I was used to different boots, or I goofed up and bought a 9.5 when a 9 would have been better, or it wasn't broke in yet, but I'm having regrets. They fit much better after I robbed the rough, sock-eating foam insoles out of a pair of 20$ rubber "concrete boots" that I keep wedged behind my truck cab, and jammed them into my pair of Timberlands. After that, zero complaints. They grip onto everything, keep my feet safe, stay dry and breathe well, and I can just wipe them down and they're ready to be worn out on the town! I like these boots but it rubs me the wrong way that it took a donor sole from the most cheap, ill fitting, uncomfy rubber boots I own to make these feel good. I guess two wrongs do make a right. Next time I buy a pair, I'll be trying one size down.
