These shoes were comfortable right away--not enough for heavy duty walking but fine for casual dressy. I am able to use my orthotic in them as well but needed to go up a half size.

I bought these shoes for my daughter to wear to a 6th dance. She hates dressing up. She liked them from the start. Very comfortable and sporty, yet nice looking. They look good with leggings and a skort. She’ll probably be able to wear them to school concerts and such, as well. Very versatile.

Actually wore them biking . . . I had an office biking trip in the morning and work in the afternoon--the only article of clothing I didn't change were these awesome biking shoes/mary janes. Not serious, yellow jersey athletic gear, for sure, but great for the 8-15 miles of biking I usually do while looking great and being relatively inexpensive. Like the other reviewers said, I also use them sometimes as street shoes, although the bike-shoe style thin sole at the toe/ball and thick sole at the heel is weird at first. They also get major kudos for being the only shoe I've ever had that fit both my narrow, long-toed sz 10 foot and my mother's boxy, short-toed sz 6 foot perfectly (she has a different color, though), largely due to the zig-zag adjustable strap.

Sketchers are AWESOME!!!! I started working in as an Chiropractor's Assistant and am on my feet all day! I did not have anything in my closet for my feet to be comfortable in. Sketcher's are the only sneakers that I can wear that don't hurt my feet so I looked to see if they had anything that would look alright with slacks. These shoes are great with slacks and are soooooo comfortable! I will say even though I LOVE Zappos... I turn to Zappos for reviews and other shoes!!!!!

A more attractive walking shoe - This is my second pair if this style to buy. My first was a pink leather/mesh style for the summer. I get compliments on them daily. I was also able to remove the foot bed and use my orthotic foot appliance. It is a prettier feminine casual shoe.

Excellent shoes for all day wear... A coworker wore these to work and two of us had to buy them immediately! They are way cute... cuter than the picture, for sure. They are incredibly comfortable... almost like wearing slippers. I wore them for 8 hours straight on Saturday while working and my feet felt great when I got home. They are a great mix of practical shoes than could meet any terrain and great looking shoes that could be worn with a skirt or slacks.

These feel a bit big, but the strap keeps the shoes on. Without the strap, I would have had to return them. They are comfortable and stylish. Skechers, keep your size 5 true to size. I am keeping these, but I would not without the strap.

I like these shoes and the only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that my feet seem to tilt inwards somewhat. I wish they had built up the inner side some to prevent this. Cute shoes and comfortable otherwise.

These are so ugly they are cute! I needed something in black that fell between a dressy flat and an athletic shoe. These fit the bill perfectly. I just can't describe a shoe with a toe this round as being pretty, but they will be cute with a pair of leggins. They are very comfy.

I had to return this item because the strap was at least 2 inches too long.

It looks good, but when I wore it once without socks, it scratched my foot a bit. Maybe I'll give it another chance with socks on.

Three friends recommended this shoe to med - but obviously my feet weren't shaped like theirs. It cut me across the throat of the shoe, even on the foot without a slight bunion. I wanted to order a Wide width but it was out of stock; I can wear a medium in most shoes. Reluctantly returning - will ask to be notified if my size in a wide width becomes available. Bummer!

Had the shoes on for less than five minutes -- walking around my living room to check the fit -- and discovered they already have a tear on the interior of the right heel! Clearly, I am disappointed in the quality of construction of this particular pair of shoes. I have two other pairs of Skechers (tennis shoes & sandals) that have held up for several years with no such problems, so I hope that this is an anomaly. I am returning this pair -- too bad as the style is quite cute.

I loved these shoes and wore them nearly every day for a year - they never hurt, looked great, and I was so disappointed when the velcro wore out and I had to get rid of them. But for the price, I got a lot of good wear out of them.

Love these shoes! I bought them to replace a similar pair when that pair was worn out! Perfect for any day of the week or occasion. I expect this pair to get lots of wear--soon!

I love the way that these fit. They are so comfortable. The toebox is my problem area and I have plenty of room and they are cushioned too. I own another style, but they aren't as comfy as these. They make a great walking shoe, I'm glad Zappos still had them, been around for 2 years. Thank you!

I ordered these in Toffee Leather. The color is really nice and so is the look - they are super cute. However, I am a 10.5 and they only had 10 or 11, so I went with 11. They were way too big - both too wide and too long by quite a bit. I have a semi-narrow foot, but I never buy narrow shoes. I was surprised by how huge these were on me. If they'd fit, I definitely would have kept them, but I must return them for shoes that come in 10.5.

I hesitated to order these, because they didn't offer them in a wide size. However, I am so glad that I took a chance. Can't say enough good things about these shoes. So comfy and smart looking. I now have a brown pair too and enjoy wearing either pair with jeans and other casual slacks.

I LOVE this shoe!! I have this shoe in tan, dark brown, and pink. This is my second pair in black, since I wore my last pair so much that I just had to throw them out. I was expecting to buy a new pair immediately, but I guess Skechers's stopped making it, so when I saw it on this site, I immediately repurchased it. This is a very comfortable shoe. I wear it in the winter months when it is cold (the suede keeps my feet warm), as well as in the summer months. I always get compliments on this shoe. I just love skechers's- their shoes just fit my lifestyle well. This is a great brand/shoe for people who do alot of walking at work, and still want to be stylish.
