Shoe is durable but the extra wide version is to big.

I purchased my first pair of Shape-Ups XT Fitness Shoe in 2008; repeated this again in 2012. I was set to repeat again this year, but found you've discontinued the design. My wife also used similar lades model. There is no comparison of any new or replacement model. You blew it!

I returned the item but return was a snap!

The pictures show a light brown shoe lace but the shoe comes with a dark lace. In the past it came with both colors. You go corporate America!!!

I used to love these shoes. Now it seems they are making them cheaper. The soles are not as cushioned as they used to be. Not as good for walking on cement or pavement.

I wear Go Walks daily. I was expecting that kind of cushion from this shoe, but they don't have it. They are a good shoe though.

I love Skechers Shoes and own 22 pair so this was another to add to the collection..

I own 2 Skechers Shape Ups which literally saved my very sore feet so that I could walk normally again thanks to their great cushioning. And I use them for working out in the gym. I hoped the Energy After Burn would be a good replacement shoe since the original Shape-ups in a wide size is no longer made. This Energy After Burn does not have the cushioning of the old Shape Ups.

I have used these shoes for many years. The last few years the size that I have always worn feels smaller... I tried the next size up and its way to sloppy... you need a size 12.5

Shoe is inconsistant in sizing-- sketchers not what they were - quality slipping

This order is to replace an earlier pair that only lasted 6 months before the material on the front peeled off. Sure hope this pair lasts longer or I won't order another pair. The soles and the leather parts held up well on the previous pair and are still kick arounds but sure wouldn't wear them out anywhere. See picture of old pair after 6 months.

The best shoe I had was a pair of Shape Ups. They were the only shoes I found that did not give me heel pain (psoriatic arthritis (PsA. My new Downforce are better than some but still some pain. It is unfortunate that Sketchers was forced to discontinue the Shape Ups.

First three pairs were made great and I still ware them to do yard and garden work, 4th pair ripped at sole and toe within two weeks and were replaced 5th pair lasted 4 months and did the same thing. I will pay for my new pair because they fit my foot the best but may be my last.

Perhaps these will improve as I break them in. They are less than half the price of the 928's but they are not as good a fit "out of the box".

Bring back the Shape ups

I like the Men's Energy Energy - Downforce because of the wide size, but the fabric frays easily and the uppers separate from the lower portion. The shoe only lasts 8-10 months.

The shoe looks great but is in need of more padding especially around foot and is in need of a higher arch support. I am very flat footed and had to go to store to buy arch supports !

It is an OK type of shoe for me.

I am a nursing student, and needed affordable white solid leather shoes for clinicals. They are not the most comfortable shoes, but are good for the price.

Color was advertised as NATURAL, and picture showed light tan. Actual color was PEBBLE, a light olive/gray. The actual color should have been listed as PEBBLE, with the appropriate picture.

compared to my older versions the width and length is about 1/2 inch more small, I hope the leather stretches.

I have several Sketchers that I love and the performance has been great. I really like the look, feel, and fit of this shoe, but they have proven to be a very HOT shoe. I purchased these as a walking shoe for sightseeing trips, which usually involves lots of walking. These shoes have created a lot of heat for my feet, causing my feet to sweat after a very short period of time. If there was a way to get rid of the heat they would be a 10!
