Overall, this is a good shoe. Fairly comfortable, though the insole is harder, more firm, than I prefer. The first pair I bought were too small, so I went up a size. Should have gone up half a size, because these border on too big. Overall it's a good shoe, and right for the price. I'd recommend them to anyone, but I would make sure you get the correct size rather than use the recommended size option.

Cannot speak to longevity of shoe, but out of the box they seem to be a well constructed shoe. They do have a VERY roomy toe box and seem to run a bit wider than most medium width shoes. Hope they are of good quality construction as they will be put through their paces.

A little snug across the forefoot. Good cushion and good on slick surfaces.

I was leery buying shoes w/out trying them on in the store. However, I have other Skechers so I gave then a shot. They fit fine and the price was better than I could do in any store..

Very comfortable for basic guy stuff; minimal break-in time. Holding up well after several weeks of daily wear and tear.

I bought these shoes because my podiatrist told me that I need shoes with more support. Most of my shoes are soft slip-ons. I have in the past needed a slightly wider than average toe box, so I went with a wide size when I ordered them. With that background information in context, I will proceed with my revue. The shoes that I initially ordered in a "wide" were...very! Turns out that this shoe is generous in its sizing. I ordered the standard width and they fit fine. I got a half size, and it fits true. The support issue is being handled well, although I am still breaking them in(been wearing them for less than a week). And they look pretty good, too. Less like a sneaker, more like a loafer. Overall, I would recommend this shoe to anyone considering them. Actually, at this price point I would call them an excellent value.

This was my second pair of Skechers Energy-Downforce. I use them for work and I'm a heavy guy who walks on concrete all day for my job. The first pair only lasted 4 months. While I was disappointed in the quality I weighed price and comfort vs. quality and in the end it seemed like a fair value. They are supportive and comfortable and the cost is reasonable compared to other like-type shoes. I've purchased more expensive shoes that last much longer. However, if you're after comfort and don't demand a more expensive shoe that will last a year or longer this is a good choice.

Seems like a really nice, supportive shoe. I wanted it to work, but in the end I am returning both sizes because it doesn't have quite enough toe room or flex for walking all day on concrete. I have to say that it is quite roomy, but since I have bunions and thus a very wide forefoot, not enough room for me, even in EE width. If there was a 3E in this style, that would probably work. I have narrow heels and there was no slippage with this shoe.

Needs more arch support. Please bring back the pebble color.
