I normally wear a size 9.5 in women's and ended up with an 8.5 in these shoes. The toe area is a little narrow, but otherwise comfortable.

Good shoe but seems a bit larger and wider than normal fit. I would suggest buying a 1/2 size smaller. Great for the summer!

My daughter needed half a size larger than usual, since they're a bit narrow. Exchanging them was super-easy. The larger pair was perfect and quickly became her favorite shoes!

I got these in black. It wasn't a true black and almost looked navy. But I don't care. I ordered my usual size (6.5 in women) and they slipped a tiny bit at the heel. So I got another pair in size 6 women’s. I couldn't even get my foot in because the elastic doesn't stretch that far. I had put heel inserts in the 6.5 but it didn't help much with the slipping. Too bad the smaller size couldn't fit. I love that the shoe is just classic and easy to match. I think a few more inserts would fix it. If not, bummer. :(

My daughter really likes these shoes, but we always order a 1/2 size bigger. They are a bit difficult to 'slip on' at first, but when the shoe is 'worn in' they are easier to put on.

Cute but not too comfy -
Bought these after seeing them on someone else. They are very cute, but short on comfort. Possibly due to the unusual sizing, they are somewhat narrow at the widest part of your foot and rub a bit. I usually wear a women's 9 and ordered the 6 which fit fine. I also find them kind of clunky due to the sole thickness and stiffness. Nevertheless, a fun looking shoe!

Cool shoe!
Great shoe, no hassle with laces. Comfort has never been great on these shoes, so get extra supports if you're on your feet a lot. But, they look good and are convenient. Get a smaller size than normal though.

I am the first on my block -
People ask "Where's the laces?" and I get to tell them how they are sewn halfway up so you don't need laces. And the color is Green Apple, thank you very much, not lime. The material for this color has a linen look. But what I do need with these slip ons is socks because the seams on the top pinch and rub.

Cool cons -
These are great shoes! Truly a different slant on the basic Converse sneak, pretty comfortable (rub a little bit), nice vintage/frayed look, good assortment of shades (I bought the navy). Varvatos came out with the “designer” end of this model, but can’t really see why they warrant the steeper price. Oh well, if it makes Ashton Kutscher feel a step up, that’s ok with me! I love my All Star Slips just as they are. The only downside: no arch support and definitely a 1/2 size bigger than marked. Besides that, it’s a terrific summer knock-around.

I bought the green apple ones. very cool. They do run pretty large. I'm usually a women's size 10 and I ordered them in 7.5 and they're fine. I like that they're a slip on but give a different look than the Vans or Sperry slip ons.

Love these. They look so summery, youthful and relaxed. Honestly they are perfect. Admittedly I wear two insoles with any Converse shoes, because they have no arch support at all, and basically a poorly made shoe. But with the insoles/arch supports in, these are awesome. Not one blister!

Tight in the toe and difficult to slip on. My finger gets pinched using it as a shoe horn to get my heel inside this shoe.

These shoes are not black! They look like a black that may have been washed 1000 times and ended up purple.

The black canvas looked navy to me, or like a very faded black. The shoes do run very large. I normally wear a 7.5 but ordered a 7 and they were too big.

Great sneaker, but too narrow for boys. Overall, very narrow through toe area even for women.

Very large! I ordered my normal size and had to send back for a size smaller. Otherwise, these are very cute.

This shoe is very comfortable. There is a little fraying on the part of the shoe that contains the eyelets. You may need to trim this occasionally so that they don't look too ratty. Other than that, I really dig the shoe. I think I'll get the Converse slip without the fraying next time.

My daughter wears these shoes to her job where she is on her feet. While they are cute, they have no support and are very uncomfortable for her to wear to work. They are fine for style, but not for support.

Fun summer slip on, but not super comfortable. I am a womens 8 1/2 or a 9 and the size 6 fits me perfectly.

Cute but no support -
Love the look of the classic Chucks with no laces. It's nice to slip on your shoes and go! These shoes run a full size larger. I wear a size 9 but I had to return them and re-order a size 8 and they fit perfect. I would recommend getting some insoles because there is no arch support and it can hurt your feet.

I Wish I Loved Them More -
I love how these look; they go with everything! But, there's no arch support, so walking around all day isn't very comfortable. Also, the rubber keeps separating from the canvas where my foot bends. I've had a pair for only a few months and they're starting to fall apart. If you don't walk a lot, they're great, but shouldn't be worn every day or they won't last.
I also really love the slip on but still possibly laced look. I can never get my laces evenly tight, so slip ons are perfect.

Am I the only guy who bought these?
I really love this shoe, but only recently read the reviews for it after purchasing them.
They are shoes for men, too...RIGHT?
My only complaint about the shoe is that it isn't made out of the quality canvas that I am used to with Chuck Taylors and I worry about the wear and tear.

These shoes do not look exactly like the picture. I purchased the chocolate pair and the brown is a lighter shade than what is on my computer screen. There's also a lot of "fraying" threads where the tongue is sewn on to the sides. I understand that it is intended to look that way and I have no issues with that. However, the fraying led to one of the sides tearing off completely within several months of use. I still like the way the shoes look, but I have not worn them in a long time because I have not had time to go get the shoe repaired.
Zappos is a great website!

Stylish, but not for comfort -
Kind of interesting look. They don’t offer much support so I wouldn’t wear them for any length of time. I basically just wanted something to keep by the door and be able to slip on/off when walking the dog - be able to wear summer or winter - and also just when I needed a quick black casual shoe to run errands or go to a movie. I usually wear 10.5 - I ordered the 10 - the shoe still kept slipping off - I went and bought some insoles to put in and that helped a little bit. The one thing I notice is that there are pieces of string that seem to be coming off the shoe and I’m not sure if that’s the way its supposed to be or if it’s a sign of poor quality. Don’t want this falling apart on me in a month, but I guess I will see. Main thing is I want to wear them Thanksgiving weekend when I see my mom to see her scream at me for not having laces...

The Chucks I have always wanted -
I love Converse Chuck Taylors and, like many of you out there, I've had dozens of pairs over the course of my life. High tops, low tops, all kinds of colors. This is my first experience with the slips and I must say I am impressed. I have always worn my Chucks loosely tied and now I need not bother as I can just slip them on and off. These fit just as any other pair of Chucks, so pay no heed to all the stuff about sizing if you are familiar with the shoe. As always, Zappos rocks and had them on my door the next day. I can't say enough about Zappos - the ease of shopping, great return policy, and huge selection are the BEST. Now the reason for the three stars. After two weeks of everyday city wear, they are already falling apart. Some of my previous Chucks have lasted me for years and years through grass stains, deck stains, and coats of paint from summer jobs. The fabric is coming loose from the sole on these already and I am not sure if I got a bad pair or Converse has cheapened the production on their classic sneakers. Overall recommended highly - I'll probably just have to buy another pair from Zappos as I've already gotten my money’s worth from the shoe.
