Great look, great fit. Very comfortable. Got the yellow but it's almost an orange (that was what I'd hoped for so I'm happy!)

Great classic - I own this style in four color ways. They are the most comfortable shoe I have in my collection of retro Tigers, Adidas, and Pumas... these DEFINITELY fit TRUE TO SIZE.

Asics - Theses shoes are so hot. Heads turn when I come through with these on. They are comfortable, and they are true to there size.

Excellent trainers - Purchased these in Indian Yellow a day and a half ago and received them this morning. Zappos upgraded my order to overnight delivery for FREE. The shoes are not only comfortable, but look great. I couldn't decide between these and the Red/Gold, because both are awesome color combinations. The Indian Yellow is a deep lovely yellow which makes them noticeable. Also, not many people have these so I feel special. Size wise, I wear a mens 7.5/womens 9 in Adidas and purchased the mens 7.5 in these and they fit perfect.

Yellow Lover - These shoes are a treat! They're just a lot of fun. I'm not a runner, so I can't speak to how they do in that context. But if you're looking to make a little funky statement in yellow, go for these shoes. They're comfy and light. I ordered half a size up, as I always do in sneakers, and they fit well. They look better on than they do in the picture.

I bought a pair of these right before a trip, because I wanted a shoe to walk around in that was a little cushier than the Converse I wear most other days. They were pretty comfy at first, though they did end up giving me blisters on the tops of both of my big toes. I think it was because my feet swelled a bit in the humidity. Back home, the shoes have been perfectly comfortable. I like their low profile design. I wish the light grey portion of the shoe was less shiny though.

A+ on style...a good fit snug. Described as running a bit smaller, and I went ahead and ordered my exact size. They do feel a bit snug, and make my feet look smaller than they are. They are comfortable, but when I order a 2nd pair...I am going for the half-size larger, for even more comfort. They do look great!

They look more grey in person then black/grey in the picture. Beautiful shoe nonetheless, and my 8th pair.

I loved the first pair of Ultimate 81's I bought, so I bought a second pair about 8 months later. The material on the back of the heel is different, and uncomfortable. The first pair, in blue, had a fabric back; the second pair has a synthetic leather by the back heel, and it is uncomfortable in comparison. As you look through the colors, you'll see that most colors now have the synthetic back, while a couple still have the comfortable cloth mesh back. Be forewarned.

I have a few pairs of Tigers. I love them all. This pair is just as good. The only weird thing about this pair is the tongue folds up and bothers the top of my foot sometimes.

Very sleek, very casual. Not the greatest for support. I have high arches, and I could use a little more support. Regardless, I think these shoes are awesome. The extra shoelaces are a plus, but I am not sure if I would actually use them.

These are great looking sneakers; I've gotten a few compliments on them already in the short time that I've had them. They're very stylish and seem to be well made. My only complaint is that they're not the most comfortable sneakers...there's not a lot of cushioning in the soles of the shoe, so wearing them for long periods of time takes some getting used to. They're also somewhat narrow, so I definitely don't feel as stable in these as some of my other sneakers. Neither of these points is really a deal-breaker for me; they're comfortable enough and for a few hours of wearing them, they're fine. Overall, I really like them; they're definitely the nicest looking sneakers that I own and that's all I really expected from them. I definitely wouldn't wear these for any kind of athletic activity though.

Great shoe. Loved the color. They fit well and I liked how they looked, but I returned them because I wasn't sold on them.

Very light, fair support, sizing runs larger than usual, lacks a solid feeling in construction, but seems to be made with care. My star rating is based on 3 being average.

These shoes are mesmerizing...I could stare at them all day. The down side is that they truly feel like a 1970's tennis shoe. The sole is a firm yet not very supportive foam. They're not uncomfortable, just not comfy. Their look makes up for any shortcomings.

I just received the bordeaux/white asics 81. I was hoping the color would be more burgundy, but it is more of a wine/cranberry color. The suede part looks more burnt orange. But I like them anyway so I'm going to keep them. I wear a size 8 in womens and a size 6 in mens, but their sizes run a bit different. Their 6 in mens is a 7.5 in womens, but it still fits perfect. Overall i think the shoe is cool and im about to order the red/gold pair.

One of the best things about this shoe is that not many people have them. My shoes felt a size larger at least and the yellow color was a few shades darker than shown. The shoes are very light weight and are pretty comfortable. The only setback on mine was that since they were a size or so larger, the arch was a little too far forward on my foot. If you're looking for a retro looking shoe that's comfortable and light weight, this would be a good choice--just order a little smaller.

I know this shoe is in man's only and you must order the comparable size, but they still run a little large.

I just got these today. On the first fitting they were tight on the sides, and my feet are not especially wide at all. I proceeded to break them in and see if they would stretch and adjust after I walked a couple miles. After a two mile stroll through my neighborhood, the only complaint after that was the way the heel dug into my heel. I was wearing low cut socks, but I wear them with my Brooks running shoes every morning run, and they are fine with those. I am debating whether I should keep them. I feel like for such expensive shoes they are decent but I could probably find a just as sturdy shoe and more comfortable fit elsewhere. I will wait a couple days, sleep on it, then decide if I want to return them. I really wanted to try the Roos but they did not have the color/size combination that I wanted so these were my next choice. Overall, I am not completely confident in the purchase.

The shoes feels small but can be remedied by adding back padding. Not as much arch support as expected. Mesh white is very bright and kind of reflective. Overall decent for the gym.

These look really awesome. However, I found out after a few times of wearing them the left shoe is crushing the back of my ankle. They fit fine, it is just the angle that the back of the shoe has is putting pressure on my tendon making it painful to walk/run or wear for days, so I stopped wearing them. Since I ran outside in the mud I figured Zappos wouldn't take them back.

These are great shoes! I bought them because I needed a shoe that I could wear for work (I worked in a supermarket at the time), I had already heard great things about them and was constantly on my feet and on the go, inside on a concrete floor, stocking shelves, moving pallets, going up and down ladders, collecting carts outside, etc. They held up well given the kind of work I was doing and the environment I was wearing them in. I was really hard on them and wore them to the point where there were holes forming in the mesh toe-box. I also liked that the insoles were arched to give you some extra cushion/ shock absorption. As a casual shoe they're classics and always a great way to make a statement when wearing sneakers in a more sophisticated, stylish and subtle way. Ultimately, they're good, lightweight shoes that you can wear in a myriad of situations, but they'll definitely last longer if you don't wear them everyday and in more casual situations.
