Received these recently and I was really surprised since my last Daniel Green slippers were years ago. The shoe portion seems to be well made, the lining is very cheap and the soles are totally smooth making them very dangerous. I am still recovering from a fall on ice this past winter and a fracture in 3 places on my ankle. I don't want to fall again and will not buy Daniel Green again. Also there is no arch support in these, so it is like walking in bare feet when you wear these.

Very disappointed in these slippers. There is no cushioning inside and it makes it feel like a cheap slipper. Would not purchase them again.

I sold women's shoes years ago and always bought my wife Daniel Green. She has a narrow foot so always looked for a quality fit. It has not changed. Fit is great and from what I can see the quality is still there.Of course inflation has caught up these last 30 plus years, but you pay for the quality.

I bought these slippers for my mother-in-law for Christmas after not finding slippers in this tone/color elsewhere. They arrived exactly as pictured, fit her well, and are wholly satisfactory. But, the best part was that even with the busyness of Christmas deliveries I had these slippers, in hand, on the East Coast just 2 days after placing the order with Zappos on the West Coast. Delivery was exceptional and the fact that if I was not satisfied, which I/we am/are, Zappos will pay to have a product shipped back to them for a full refund. Can't beat that on top of exceptional service!

I bought this shoe because it came in size 13. This shoe was comfortable and fit well. Being more of a slipper, it seemed sort of a fragile shoe to do a lot of walking out and about in. I would recommend this shoe for someone with a smaller foot. The long toe cover I don't think fits well with large stature and feet.

The label on the bottom inside used that stiff clear nylon thread that is most uncomfortable. The slipper is nice enough looking, but not as comfortable as it should be to qualify as a slipper - not much padding. A bit tight across the top, too. I had to return these.

While this is a beautiful slipper, I found the size to be small and too narrow than the usual size I wear. I was disappointed and returned them.

My mother loves these slippers, but there is a glitch in that the insoles do not hold up well at all and they curl at the toes badly. Relatively soon, long before the rest of the slipper wears out but great fit as very few slippers available in narrow.

The house slippers were of high quality and the shipment was expeditious. I have a very difficult foot to fit (6AAA) so they were not the sufficient shoe to hug my feet.

Either the wrong size was in the box...there were no markings...or this slipper is way off in size. I ordered a wide for my mother because that was what she normally wears and she couldn't even fit her toes in the slipper. Very disappointed.

A beautiful, attractive slipper with lots of potentional. Unfortunately the size/width problems neccessitated a return of this shoe.

Grand slippers, sturdy enough to step out for the mail or newspaper if it's dry. I tried my usual size (10) plus 10.5 and 11, and ended up selecting 10.5.

Slippers felt as comfortable as I remembered from a few years ago. However, they were loose on my feet so I think I should get measured for a good fit. Thank you for speedy service.

I bought these for my mom and should have listened to the other reviews. They were too narrow and so now I am returning them and getting them in wide.

I ordered this slipper once before in a 10W and had to return it because it wasn't wide enough. This time I ordered an 11W and it STILL isn't wide enough. My foot isn't excessively wide and I've NEVER ordered a size 11 in any shoe or slipper. I'm now hesitant to order any Daniel Green products. Daniel Green makes nice looking shoes but for some reason their sizing is a bit unregular. I shop with Zappos because they have a great return policy and that's why I've been a customer for six years.

The slippers are comfortable and attractive. I bought them to wear following surgery, and they were perfect. I appreciate the two way shipping service. I usually end up shipping back the first pair and ordering another, so it helps. Many thanks.

I bought these slippers for my Mother. She absolutely loves them! She is wheelchair bound to go places, and had problems with regular shoes, since these look like shoes (and are lightweight), she has comfort and looks.

These have been my slippers of choice for many years. Having just worn out my last pair, I ordered a new pair of Daniel Green. At 71 years of age, I prefer a slipper with a back to prevent slipping or falling. These slippers fit beautifully and feel good both winter and summer. I buy from Zappos because I love the free shipping and the option to return what doesn't fit.

I purchased these slippers for my mom. She has a very narrow foot and has been hard to fit; however, her usual size fit her perfectly. And she was so pleased with them, especially since they were Gold! I can remember she and her sister used to wear Daniel Green slippers that looked very similar. Needless to say, she is thrilled!

I love this shoe. I've bought many Daniel Green slippers over the years and this is as good as any from the past, with one big, good difference - an excellent fit re: my narrow width. You can wear it as an elegant regular slipper or casual shoe, although the sole has no traction so some caution is needed. More arch support would make this an A+.

Finally! A slipper that fits! I have troublesome feet with a difficult size (10 1/2 W). Love these. I would get another pair in a different color.

I bought these for my 86 year old mother, her feet sometimes swell they fit perfect she loves them. She was wearing scuffs and was not as stable walking, I am very happy with them and so is she.

I was looking forward to slippers as comfy as the ones I used to wear but these are miserably uncomfortable. There is no arch support nor cushion.So I thouight I would just get some archsupports and add them but the fit was off and in the Xmas ruch the box they came in was re-cucled and when I looked at the receipt found the small print that said I couldn't return them. I kept remembering the 365 day return policy as advertised and thought "How many people keep all their shipping materials for a year?" I just wasted my money.

I ordered these for my mom for Christmas, and it was exactly what she was looking for. She was very pleased with the comfort. They were a little snug, but true to size.

Traditional slipper that I keep buying. Perfect for a slipper and house shoe. Suitable for quick excursions outdoors when dry out. Example: To get the mail or paper.
