It seems that I was the first on my block for these. After my raving about them, both my husband and my best friend have a pair. We had to send back my husband's first pair - the nubbies on the bottom came loose. So far, the second pair is doing the trick. Love these. They look rather boxy, but for comfort, yard work, walking to the beach - nothing beats them.

I love my Montrai's. This is my sixth pair. They provide great support as my ankles seem to always be trouble with standard sandals. Now I even have my girlfriend wearing them. I love them. The only thing I wish is that they came in half sizes. 11's look too big and 10's are borderline.

Once you have a pair Montrails you will not want to wear any others. The form to your feet option is wonderful. I took these on a two week Europe trip walked everywhere, my feet and lower back loved them.

All I can say is, Wow! Just follow the directions to have them form fit your feet. After having them a couple of weeks I can say Montrail Molokai are the best flip flops I have ever owned! I have worn Sperry Topsiders for years and they are not as comfortable.

I bought these for my husband and he loves them! Aside from that, I have worn the women's version for several years. I bought my first pair when I was having Plantar Fasciitis issues and these flops cured it! No meds, no doctor, just flops!

I am a woman and have always loved these sandals, but had to get a mens Montrail Molokai because the women's Montrail Molokini changed the fit a couple of years ago. The strap on the women's Molokini is too loose now. And...I have a very wide foot. However, the mens Molokai in size 7 fits me perfectly. I was wearing a women's size 8. It is a shame since the colors are so nice in the women's sandals. I hike in them because they have such good tread. Due to the changed fit, I am rating this 4 stars instead of 5. Mens or Womens (if they fit you) are incredible sandals.

I normally wear a size 11.5 shoe. I ordered a 12 since these only come in half sizes, and it was still too small. Other than that I liked the look and feel, just too small to wear. My heel was off the back. Suggest ordering larger than normal size.

I bought these because I was starting to have some arch soreness due to over-training (triathlons). The reviews were great, so I took the plunge and heated them as indicated to mold to my feet.
I am not sure if I am thrilled with the purchase. While they definitely provide a secure fit and great arch support, they have not turned out to be 100% great.
They seem a little too snug all the way around (width, height, length) for the purported size and width. On some days, when I have bee on my feet a while, they are actually too tight to be comfortable, which is odd.
I have addressed this by pulling up on the thong part to stretch or loosen it a tiny bit, which has helped, but I'm concerned about hurting the integrity of the shoe if I do this too much.
Anyway, they have an excellent and *very* supportive footbed, which was the main reason I bought them, but I suppose I would caution others against sizing them too small.

Very cool thermo plastic does form well to foot making for a very comfortable footbed. Problem is pressure and friction from the straps, resulting in skin rubbed raw if worn much during active use. Wearing socks for break-in might be a good idea.

Most comfortable pair ever. Needed some minor surgical release on straps in arch area Painful chafing otherwise. The worst problem is the extreme strong odor. Tried everything. Recommended to a friend. Loved it. Tossed because of odor that is very noticeable by others. Embarrassing. Gotta buy new ones every so often.

I've had these for about 2 months now. They are comfortable, don't get me wrong but just a little too soft. I didn't mold them in the because I could tell they would mold themselves after a short time (which they did) because they are so soft and squishy. I prefer a little more support. The heel cups are completely smashed down only after 2 months of use and I am not overweight. Somewhat disappointed.

I just don't understand the praise heaped on this sandal. Mine are two years old, and I have used them as house slippers and the strap on one of them just came loose completely. Trying to glue it back together myself, not sure if it will hold! People rave about the oven molding, personally I don't care about that, I don't care for the for the ultra smooth and slippery foot bed. I like a textured patterned type that provides some grip for you foot. These are so slick they fly off my feet once in a while when I'm walking around, so you're constantly squeezing the thong so it doesn't fly off when you're walking! Ridiculous! My 20+ year old Flo-Joes with nicely textured footbed are much more comfortable. Probably paid $20 for those at the store! I'm not totally bashing this shoe, I just think it's grossly overrated! I'm trying the Sperry Top-Sider and the Reef Sultans next, they both should easily beat the Molokai's! My two cents!

Just got a return authorization from Zappos, bought these for my husband to take on vacation to the islands and he loved them. We did the oven fitting and tried them for a little while and then threw away the box since they seemed great. Three weeks after the purchase, two parts of the bottom sole have come unglued and have fallen off. I have never paid this much for a shoe that didn't last even three weeks out of the box. Luckily, Zappos came through as usual and is allowing me to return them even without the box! Never purchase another pair, we have purchased flip flops for a dollar that lasted longer.

Conforms to the foot, unfortunately the straps are not lined inside and are quite uncomfortable. would not order this item again after owning many pairs of comfortable flip flops.
