Ariat Terrains - Wore these wonderful shoes for 10 days in a row in Wyoming (Cheyenne Frontier Days) walking on gravel and uneven surfaces, from 7:30 AM to 11 PM EVERY DAY. My feet felt wonderful and I am once again sold on the Ariat shoes. Bought two more pair and perhaps you will never catch me in another brand of shoe again!!

GREAT! SUPER! Buying my second pair. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these shoes. They are my favorite. I wore out the leather by instep and had to have them patched. I own two other pair of ariat western boots and they are just as comfy. These are super comfy and offer so much more support, even better then my tennis shoes. If you haven't tried Ariats yet, try them. They are super.

I have been looking for a verstile hiking/riding shoe/boot. These are great!! The feel like a sneaker, but have the support of a good hiking boot. Can't wait to try them out--going riding this weekend!

Wonderful sturdy boot - This is a boot that can be worn all day - it's very comfortable, but I have to wear it with two pair of socks. The sizes run quite large. My husband is having the same experience with his Ariat Terrain boots.

Ariat makes a nice, lightweight boot. But these shoes totally miss the mark when it comes to their width. I have a normal to slightly narrow foot and when I laced these boots up brand new out of the box the eyelets touched each other. I can only imagine how sloppy these would be after they are broken in. Simply put, these boots seemed too wide to me.

Straight out of the box, these were comfy requiring no break-in. I’m not a horse rider or farm worker...I purchased these to have a good wearing boot to keep my feet warm this winter in any weather that comes my way. I believe these will fit these needs without any issues. I’m a jeans wearing woman so these will be my everyday shoe for the coming months. I wear a 9.5 shoe and ordered these in 9.5. It was a perfect fit, with plenty of toe wiggle room. Toe space is important to me for comfort. I like the small heel as I am totally uncomfortable with a flat shoe. If they last as long as other reviewers say then this will have been a perfect purchase.

I walk my English Golden Retriever almost 5 miles a day and was noticing my pricey athletic shoes(soles) were wearing out too fast. My horse owner friend suggested I try this brand. I figured anything strong enough for wearing around barn animals is perfect when training and walking large dogs. After reading the reviews I went down 1/2 size...also added an insole(for narrow feet). Now I am convinced that these shoes are the ones I should have been wearing. They add a lot of comfort and strength and can be worn all day right out of the box! I do wish Ariat would add "narrow" to their size choices.

I bought these because my "horse" girl friends wear this brand so I decided to give them a try. My purpose however was for walking my dog, not horses. I have always worn top of the line athletic shoes but lately as soon as I finish walking I can hardly wait to take those shoes off. The morning I received these shoes and tried them on, they fit so well that I decided to walk my dog our 5 miles ...I even continued wearing them for the entire day. WOW...couldn't believe it. Almost unheard of. Also, glad I took the advice of another "review to go down 1/2 size, especially with narrow feet.

Great all-around hiking boots - a little stiff at first around the ankles but they break in quickly. Great traction and very well made. I gave up on the Keen hiking boots due to quality issues - these fit much better and are much more comfortable.

I had read the previous reviews and ordered this product. It's a wonderfully lightweight and durable boot. However, I wear a 9 and found these to be a 1/2 size larger in fit and somewhat wide. I even added an arch support insert and still found it to be too large. Last, I felt the color was more bland than the photo. It's more of a mocha.

I forgot to say in my previous review that this product is erroneously advertised as "waterproof" in your description. Please note that I do not believe this shoe is waterproof. It is the Ariat Terrain H20 model that is actually waterproof.

One of the best! Stylish appearance, immediately comfortable, functional for everyday wear or riding (horseback).

All-Terrain - I own 3 pair, buy them whenever I see them on sale. I keep one for barn work, the other 2 are for hiking or casual wear. If I only I could wear them with a skirt to work! Great shoe to wear all day.

Great shoe - I love these shoes! They are very comfortable, substantial and light weight. I get lot of complements on them. They're great when you have a lot of walking to do.

Absolutely love this shoe! I have hard to fit feet and this is by far one of the best fitting and most comfortable walking/hiking boots I have tried. Fit like a glove first time on with no break in period.

Happy customer - This was my first time ordering shoes by mail--I initially had the wrong size, sense I should have believed my own sizing instead of sales person locally when they measured my foot. This is my first real riding/out doorsie shoe and I have not complaints...very pleased with customer service and the return/exchange system and the e-mail updates.

Absolute comfort - A very substantial shoe and very light weight. Protects my feet from the rocks and slushy snow we have in my area. I wore them with a long denim skirt and they were real cute! Got lot of complients.

This is a great boot for riding and barn work - Very light but warm, roomy but not too wide for stirrups, comfortable from the start!

Love 'Em! I have owned these boots for a couple of years now and they are fantastic. They are cool enough to wear in the summer, but also warm enough to wear in the winter with a couple of pairs of socks. They run about a half size large, but that is great if you need to layer in the winter. My only complaint is that if you are using these for horse back riding, they are a little too bulky for my liking and can get stuck in the iron when dismounting or falling off.

Ariat Terrain (Women's) These shoes were comfortable from day one. There was no break-in time. These were like old friends from the beginning. I'm getting more, one pair for the barn and one for "good".
