These boots are great. I ordered the size I usually wear and the fit is just right. They're comfortable and supportive.

I bought these for my mom to work at our farm. Surprisingly lightweight being that it's a work / hiking boot. Very comfortable and a great arch support.

Very roomy in the toe box and I do not have narrow feet. Also had to go down a half size...which I never have done in a boot. Believe the other reviews where they said they were on the big size and had to go down a half size. Nice and lightweight yet sturdy and solid. Great show, I mean shoe!

Was in search of a laced boot that was soft and did not need breaking into (ie: no rubbing on the ankles, slippage on the heel). Since I wear orthotics and my instep has widened (welcome to the 50's!) it was love at first step with these right out the box. They are great in the garden, walking the dog and maybe some day I will even learn to ride a horse (from the description this is what they were designed for). I can see wearing them except in the dead of winter and they could even pass with shorts running errands. They look pretty feminine too! I find they work best with medium sized socks as my ankle is very slim and I tend to slide due to flat feet.

This was my second pair of these boots! I have BAD feet and need lots of support in the ankle area and I need to wear my inserts for arch support. These boots allow that and more! They are comfy and I love the color of these, my other pairs are the darker brown. I am keeping these as dress boots.

This is my second pair of Ariat Terrains. I've worn the first pair for over 7 years, and decided that although they still looked great after miles and miles of hiking and dog walking that I might get better support from a newer pair. Was delighted to find the exact same boot here at Zappos. And of course, they arrived the next day, were the perfect size and now are in the process of getting me around the trails and walks for maybe another 7 years.

Great boots. They ran about a half size larger than I usually take but the fit is fabulous. Supports a high arch, toe box is roomy with protective rubber strip. Highly recommend. Also bought the waterproof Ariat Terrain and love them too. Both are a great hiking and working shoe.

Love this boot. wore them for several hours after getting them and they are so comfortable.

This is my second pair of Ariats! I work in the landscaping trade in South Carolina and I am on my feet all day. My feet and legs don't hurt and are never hot, as with other boots. I talked them up so much my work partner and husband bought a pair!

Great long lasting comfortable wearing boot - I had my last pair for 8+ years before they finally gave it up. I wore them in rain, snow, mud, and everyday. I just got a new pair from Zappos and they were cheaper than what I paid locally at the saddle shop.

Nice shoe - There is a seam at the back of shoe above the heel which bothered me my first few outings but once I wore that in the shoe was great.

Tested - I have been traveling for past 12 days and they have been through snow, slop and you name it. A 5 star winner!!!

Love, love, love them - They fit comfortably and do the job I expect. I would live in them if I could.

Ariat Rocks - If you ever were concerned about buying a pair of shoes online, just buy Ariats. I have never bought a pair that didn't fit perfectly and measure up to my expectations. They are light enough to wear all day- haven't try them in the heat or cold yet. I also love that I didn't have to break them in.

Walking on clouds!! I have bought many boots on the past and I have to break each one with my poor feet, I was very impress with the comfort of this ones, as soon as I received the boots put them on and went to work for a straight 6 hours, WOW! My feet were not hurt at all. I'm an 8.5 and order 8 and they were perfect, I order another pair before they sold out, excellent boots!!

Great boots! These are great all-purpose boots for rugged terrain. I think they were designed for horse training or something, but I use them for everyday in the desert. The tops fit close and keep out the stickers. Great support and no break-in period. Just put them on and loved them. I will buy more! They look good, too.
