I love the look of these loafers and wore this style for years but recently they are so stiff and uncomfortable out of the box that I’m not sure it’s worth keeping them and trying to wear them in.

I am a size 8 - I can't recall being a 7.5; and I know I haven't been a size 7 since I was 11 years old or so! I bought my regular size... huge on me!. I went down 1/2 of a size because I couldn't imagine being a size smaller than that... still slipping around in the shoe. I gave up. It's a beautiful shoe. I don't know how, with all of these incredible ratings, this could have happened. Very disappointed, but just don't want to go another round of buying and returning.

This show was wide and gapped at the sides of my foot.

I really wanted these to fit, but they're too large in the 8W, and there's no 7.5W or 8M available. Sigh.

At first the shoes were great. After about three wears, however, the inside specifically the top began to disintegrate and blacken the top of my feet and also destroyed my nail polish. To pay so much money only for the inside to strip off is disgraceful, I will not be purchasing any more shoes Franco Sorto.???

I like the look of the shoe but have sent it back. This one was too large (long) for me. Width was fine.

I m on my feet all day and as soon as i tried them on they felt to tight at the top of my foot. I wear a m shoe not a wide. I immediately new I'd have to send them back. I was really hoping these were the ones.

Too narrow. I have a narrow foot but this was really narrow in the footbed.

I love the look of this shoe but it’s super tight when you first get it. After it’s broken in it works well but breaking them in tool a long time. I had to wear them for work so I didn’t have an option and the wide shoe didn’t make the break in period shorter.

These are beautiful shoes, I am sad they didn’t fit. They were a good fit lengthwise, I ordered wide based on the recommendation to order true to size … but they were just too tight across the front/top.

I know I have a wide foot and perhaps my foot is tall but I couldn’t even get my foot in it. It also doesn’t look very wide in general. It might just not be the style of shoe for my foot.

I just received these shoes and they felt stiff and heavy when I put them on, so I plan to wear them for short distances. Since it is leather for the uppers, they should stretch out over time and become softer. If you plan to add a full insole/orthotic with an arch support, get 1/2 size larger or it will feel tight.

I decided to try these after seeing positive reviews on the comfort and style. A little over a month has gone by and I must say that after wearing a few times, I’ve found them to be somewhat uncomfortable after a few hours on my feet. Though the heel fits well, the structured fit causes pain toward the outside of my feet. The shape overall is ok...nice and full so not to pinch my toes, but it’s like wearing duck bills on my feet. Not a style I would recommend if you’re on your feet a lot or if you’re looking for a feminine looking loafer.

Too rigid because of too much plastic - the side of the shoes cut into my ankles... There is no arch support at all and the plastic inner sole will be hot on my feet - who wants hot sweaty feet? They look nice and I would be sold but that rigidity is concerning - I still may have to return them. I have been desperately looking for a very basic run about town and country, travel, shop, socialize type of COMFORTABLE SHOE. I thought this would be it - not sure - glad I have a year to mull this over.

I tried size 10M . 10N ad 10.5N, but none fit. The 10 was small and t touched my big toe. The 10.5 was a little too long. The 10M Patent was too stiff that it was difficult getting my foot in. I love Franco Sarto shoes, and I hoped so badly that this design would fit, but none does, so I will keep looking.

I really liked the shoe and hoped it would fit. However the width of the front of the shoe was comfortable but is was wide in the heel and my heel would raise out of the shoe.

The wide are absolutely not wide. Other than that, I like the style but I don't know if they were comfortable because I couldn't even wear them for 5 minutes because of how narrow they are.

I wanted to love these shoes for work. I am tall, most often wearing a 10 medium width. Sometimes 9.5 if shoes run large. The length was not the issue with these shoes, but I was walking right out of them at the heel and rarely have this issue. The shoes themselves appeared good quality, if the soles were thicker than anticipated and would describe as akin to 'man shoes'. I returned the next day.
