I wear a size 12, so this shoe looks bigger than some of my other loafers. It is large enough for me to add a gel insert.

Great Shoe! It took one day to soften the leather a bit but that was all. Love the square toe. I have a narrow foot but big toes so its always hard to find good shoes/classic shoes.

Bought these shoes for work. They are perfect - comfortable for my walk into work, and a classic style to wear with my pants. I would recommend them!

sizing problems. I really like zappos but this brand runs really large. I had already gone from 12 to ll but still a full size too large

My wife was looking for some new workshoes and I ended up purchasing these for her after seeing the high rating. She wears a size 9-9.5 and based on the measurement chart I ordered her a 9 wide. She says they are the most comfortable work shoes she has ever had and they have reduced both foot and back pain. Definitely recommended.

I hate to "break in" shoes, but I think these will be worth it. They are stiff and a little tight, but some mink oil and walking around the house has helped. Had to exchange for a half size smaller.

I had to get wide, because they run narrow. They are extremely comfortable and look great for both business and casual.

This is my second pair of Francos. I wore my first pair out until they split. And, while you might think that is a testament to my love of the shoes, believe it or not they were just okay and that is how I feel about these shoes. So, I am not your "normal" shoe person -- I get wide shoes to accommodate my dumb bunions (which may explain why I went back to this shoe). But, there is just a stiffness to the shoe that causes my feet to feel squeezed a bit and the leather doesn't relax around other part of the shoe. I mean, they are super sharp looking but there is a level of discomfort that I do tolerate with this shoe that others don't have.

I have three pairs of this same shoes in black, navy, and brown which are old but still comfortable favorites. These shoes are just not the same feel or fit. I have tried wearing them on my carpet many times. That is very perplexing. I must return these.

I had to return these, because though they looked great in the picture, they looked ridiculous on my feet. They didn't seem super comfortable for the little bit I wore them, but I guess they could've been okay.

The shoes are too wide to wear with nylon stockings - require cotton socks to fit with my feet.The style is great.

Nice little shoe. Quite comfortable and good-looking, but was larger than my usual size. I wear a 10 regular and will return outright but I think that a 9 1/2 would do.

I am a flight attendant and was looking for a pair of shoes I could wear all day. These were highly recommended by others in the industry. So glad I took their advise. I could have used a little more arch support but other wise they are great.

I purchased these to wear with pants in an office environment. They are a little more narrow than I anticipated, but the leather is soft and supple. I think they will stretch a little over time and will probably be perfect. The style is quite conservative and almost looks like a man's shoe, which I actually like. I would definitely recommend purchasing these.

Never had to order wide shoes before. I sent the first pair back and got a smaller size and the wide. I am glad I tried the wide, I really like these shoes. I would get them in brown if they had them.

I have arthritis in my feet and was looking for a low heeled comfortable and supportive shoe. I really liked the style and look of the Franco Sarto 'Bocca' shoe. I bought a pair of navy and a pair of black at Macy's Dept. store and loved them and wore them ALL of the time. She leather uppers held up beautifully but the heels began to shoe age. I took them in to have new heels put on them and the repair man told me they could not be replaced because the heels were 'plastic'. What a disappointment. We then moved from Pennsylvania to Alabama and I found a pair of navy Boccas at a discount shoe store for less than 1/3 the price!!! They were an A width, rather than my usual medium width....but I couldn't turn down the great price. I found the A width to be even more 'supportive'. Six months later I went on line and bought another navy and black pair. I'm telling you, these shoes were wonderful on my arthritic feet! ; ) Well, during the time period between my original purchase and the last purchase, the Franco Sarto company decided to go with a cheaper leather for the shoe. I have since ordered the shoes two more times.....but none have been as nice a shoe as the first two pair. The leather is o.k. but not nearly as nice in appearance as the original smooth leather the company used several years ago. The comfort is still there...but not the expensive look. And the heels are always the first to go. The strips of 'leather'? that surround the plastic heel, start stripping off at the edges. ;(

Love the shoes! Fit perfectly; very professional-looking if that is the look you are trying to project. Per previous reviews, can wear them all day at maximum comfort.

Very comfortable shoe for the most part. However, I ordered the narrow and they are still too wide in the heel. I have to wear my thickest trouser socks to keep them on.

These shoes are so comfortable. They are the perfect balance of masculine yet cute. The leather is soft and looks beautiful.

I consider my width medium, and these pinched at the widest part of my feet until I wore them for about two weeks every day. Now they are comfortable. I would recommend if they are tight to take them to a shoe repair place to get them stretched, or Youtube how to stretch them yourself. They are really nice shoes.

I bought the narrow because the wide slipped off my heels. They are a little tight across the toe box but I think they will stretch after a few wears. If they were slightly deeper in the heel I would have given them a 5 star rating. They are really stylish and a nice height to wear with pants. I had several compliments when I wore them.

I wear dress clothes but in my line of work I need a practical shoe. This shoe was comfortable right out of the box and looked fabulous. I wore this pair probably 90-100% of my work week so I definitely tested them well, the heel wore out (but could be replaced) and the leather polished up really nice extending the life. My only issue was the side of the heel chipped in a few spots and showed the white plastic underneath (if they could change that color = problem solved), but I couldn't manage to keep those chips colored. The other thing may have just been a fit issue with my feet, but I generally wear a size 9, and my heel slipped in these, so as I broke them in more, I didn't feel secure in them staying on my feet.

This shoe has a great simple style which makes it versatile to wear to the office or casually. I had worn the shoes to work for a week before I wore them on vacation in Washington D.C. where we did a lot of walking (probably 3-4 miles per day for our 3 day trip). The shoes have almost non-existent cushioning which doesn't matter much if you're sitting in front of a computer most of the day, but if you are doing lots of walking then buying a shoe insert may be a good idea. Other than that I like everything else about the shoe. Hopefully, putting inserts into the shoe will not make it too tight because the fit is snug right now without the inserts.
