the material is a bit stiff making them a little uncomfortable to wear all day on the first day. they need some breaking in and one shouldn’t have to break in shoes.

Ordered the wide and could barely get my foot in. Not a true wide.

This shoe is obviously popular but I did not like it i all. It is very wide looking in the toe area, not attractive at all. I like shoes sleeker and this is certainly not that. Nice leather and looks well made, but Going back, very clunky.

They were for a 20 year that needed them for a uniform, however she thought they were for “old people” but said they feel/fit great

Had a bit of trouble getting into the shoe with my high instep as the top comes up high on the foot, but the length and width were great and the shoe comfortable. I need a deep toe box and this one fit the bill. Unfortunately, I have a wide foot with a narrow heel and this shoe is too wide for me at the heel even with socks, so I’ve had to return.

I don’t know who makes the reviews on this site.But I will start with the weight it feels like I am wearing some work boots they are that heavy;I tried wearing them around the house to break them in but ended up with blisters on two of my toes;not the big toe because the way the shoes is designed ;the tongue aslo rub on the top which hurt the top of my feet.. I put them on again the next day too see how they look with some jeans and they look horrible I wear straight legs or skinny and they definitely was not made for them flair or bell bottoms yes.The rubber is already breaking up and this is my second day having them.They are some ugly shoes I have a lot of oxfords and loafers mostly clarks and I usually buy shoes at a store took the chance on buying on line and l can’t return them because my husband threw the box out with the trash.They have a design for a 80yr old but they are still to heavy.But you get what you pay for.

Usually wear size 9M but after reading reviews I ordered 8 1/2 W and shoes fit perfect. Not too bad comfort wise right out of the box but I sit at a desk for most of the day so if you do a lot of standing or walking I think they may need broke in little before all day wear.

I like how these shoes look, and the fit seem exactly as I would have expected. However they are wickedly uncomfortable. They had an insert in the shoe which has left a deep V in the back and the leather is digging into my heels in several spots. I'm still trying to decide if I am going to keep them. I want to like them, they look nice, but they may hurt too much to take a chance on keeping them.

Nice shoe, not comfortable enough to spend an entire day upon your feet as there is no support. Love the look, though.

These shoes are perfect for what I wanted... nice pair of professional looking flats for work. I wear them exclusively with thin trouser socks. They would be too tight with a thicker sock, but they fit great with the trouser socks. The width is great (I'm sensitive to shoes that are too narrow and these give me no problem). Very pleased with these!

I really wanted these to fit, but the width was just too narrow and that was with a wide. Otherwise, they were great shoes and I'm sorry to have to send them back! :(

This is the third time I bought the same shoe over the years. Great that the same model is still available. It is a good deal for an all leather shoe. Comfortable yet professional looking.

I love the shoes even though the narrow width is a bit too wide. If the shoes were narrower they would be perfect.

Nice looking loafer, but had to send it back because they make a squishing noise when I walk.

What took me so long??? After a few years of thinking about these shoes, I finally bought them. I'm so glad I did! This Franco Sarto loafer is comfortable right out of the box. I walked around all day without socks - no blisters, no breaking in period. I love the wide square toe box. Now I can get rid of the expensive loafers that pinch my toes. Yay!

It’s a great shoe. Very comfortable for a nice work shoe. Looks great. Will definitely get it in more colors.

These shoes have a great look! They were extremely comfortable but they stretched so much they are unwearable. I ordered my usual size (5.5) and when the shoes arrived they were a little tight. Within two months they have stretched so much that they are too big to wear. Really sad to let these shoes go. Also, the inside of the shoe has been peeling off very quickly -- it feels like I am always finding little peels of black material from my shoes and finding it on my carpet.

I ordered 8.5 medium, my usual size. Way too big. I then ordered an 8 medium and was surprised at how wide and sloppy they were. I have wide feet. Then I ordered a 7.5 medium and they were too small. Ordered an 8 narrow and they are perfect. Love the style, they are very comfortable and I'm very surprised i can wear a narrow.

The second time I'm buying these shoes. Long lasting and comfortable.

Worn this size and style of Sartos for years. I chose the size and width from my existing pair so it surprised me no end as to how narrow the “wide” was. Wasn’t even close to being wide enough. The shoe is lovely, the leather superb but go a half size up because I guess they now run narrower than before.

My favorite shoes! I order a couple of pairs each year and wear them out.
