These shoes look sharp and professional with black slacks. My feet are wide in front and medium in back, so most size wide shoes slip. These shoes hold your foot in with the taller tongue, so they fit well. The heel height is very comfortable and looks better with slacks than a flat shoe.

Fit, size, and style are all great; however, two months after wearing these shoes every other day to work only, I noticed the left shoe (1st picture) is coming apart at the seams on the side and the right shoe (2nd picture) isn't too far behind! I have NEVER experienced anything like this from Zappos or any other store! Not sure what's going on with Franco Sarto and the lack of quality in this shoe! And to think, I was contemplating buying a second pair in a different color!

I've owned two pairs of these Franco Sarto Bocca loafers over the past 2.5 years and the leather uppers have worn extremely well and they polish up nicely. Until recently, they were my go-to daily office shoes because they look sharp and professional while being comfortable. If they were made with better materials for the heels and soles they would be perfect. Unfortunately, the heel structure is hollow plastic with a glued-on rubber walking surface and I walked through the rubber in a few months of normal wear. The soles are also inferior rubber and eventually cracked to the extent water could enter the shoe. I had the rubber on the heels replaced at the local shoe shop, but it only extended the life a little until the soles cracked. I'm debating whether to buy these again with the disappointing lifespan. I am not on my feet all day, and expect better performance for a shoe in this price range—tho' I'd pay a higher price (within reason) for superior quality.

This is a most stylish, comfortable, sensible shoe. I am an architect, so I must maintain style, even as I must be able to walk well. I absolutely love these shoes! I keep the heels repaired and the shoes well shined. I have six pairs! I get many compliments on these shoes.

I usually can not wait to rip my shoes off when I get home but not with these shoes. I love them because they are so comfortable.

I wore these shoes for the first time. I put them on, drove to work, and took them off. The interior of the shoe just fell apart and stuck to my feet. This happened within 30 minutes. Strangest thing ever.

I love these shoes, I wear a 10 wide and they are very hard to find. This is my first time shopping at Zappos and it was a great experience. I will definitely be shopping here again.

These are the best dress shoes I have for work. I can wear them for 14 hours without any discomfort. They fit to your foot well.

This is my second pair of these shoes. I wore the first ones for about two years and finally wore them out. I am glad to have found them again. They are comfortable right from the get go. They go great with pants or skirts. I have wider medium feet and they have plenty of room. You will not be sorry with these!

My feet are short, thick, and very wide. 5.5W. I can never find shoes both wide and small enough while being office appropriate. These are the first to fit all the requirements. The material feels sturdy and expensive. They fit snugly without pinching. The only improvement would be greater cushioning and support inside the shoe.

These are the BEST dress shoes I have ever owned. I have been wearing them for more than 20 years, and have bought so many pairs in so many colors, I've lost count. You can't beat the value--I wear them until they wear out and then replace them. They are incredibly comfortable, and I do a lot of walking. I work in New York City and routinely walk between 2 and 4 miles a day in these. I see that Franco Sarto has introduced a "New Bocca," and I certainly hope that doesn't mean they're discontinuing the original Bocca. It's a classic.

Following the suggestions of the comments here, I ordered a smaller size. That was a mistake. The shoe is uncomfortably tight across the top of my foot where the 'tab' stitching is. I can't wear these enough to stretch them out. They're going back. Too bad, because it's a great-looking shoe.

These shoes are stylish and comfortable. I can be pretty selective and have held out on replacing shoes that were on their last tread, so to speak, because I could not find shoes both stylish and comfortable. I really need comfortable because, as a mom of a very active almost four year-old working a 50 hour a week job, I cannot be bothered with shoes that hurt! I need stylish because I do not buy into the belief that you have to sacrifice stylish for comfort! These are such a great find that I have bought them in brown, too! Also, it goes without saying that Zappos is great with unrivaled customer service!

I love these shoes. They look great with dress pants. The first time I wore them for about 12 hours with no problem. this is unusual since I had foot surgery last year and most shoes are a problem for me.

Don't hesitate to buy these if you are on your feet a lot. They have just enough support to be comfortable. I have many miles on my 5 year old pair and they're still going strong. I will be ordering another pair in black.

Great Quality! All Hail Zappos!! I wear size 13M and own this shoe in three colors -navy, black, and cafe brown...the blue is a bit to wide, the brown too tight (narrow) and the black okay... I love the style and comfort, but can't understand why different colors fit differently...aren't they made on the same shoe last? I still want to try the patent leather...can't wait...still waiting...and waiting...

Without a doubt, the best shoe I have ever worn. Great fit; great look; great quality. I am a very active active 52 year old that works with teenagers every day. Looks stylish - not old. Can't afford to have my feet hurt and these shoes fit perfectly with no break in time. Don't bother keeping Bandaids in your purse for when your shoes rub - you will never need them!

I am pleased with this shoe. While it is a little heavy, it is roomy and doesn't pinch my toes. Some people claimed that the leather was a little stiff, which is true, but I didn't need to break it in. Which is good since my feet don't like to break in shoes anymore. Because it has a heel instead of a plastic wedge like sole, it looks a little dressier than others.

I love ordering from Zappos. These shoes are so comfortable for all the walking I do at work. And I'm always so surprised how fast I receive them. This time when I ordered they were at my doorstep the next day!

Love these shoes they're great with jeans or pants. This is my second pair plan to put as many miles on these as the last pair.

These seem to be very comfortable. The cushioning is great so I'm very sad to have to send them back. I ordered a narrow and these are not narrow enough in the heel area. My foot totally comes out when I walk.

I ordered a size 7 1/2 narrow - my usual size, but it was too big. I exchanged it for a size 7 narrow and it was fine. The style is quite versatile and I really like it.

I love these shoes. They are a perfect fit. There is no elastic across the top but it still isn't too tight. A comfortable office shoe for Friday.

This is my 3rd pair of this shoe over the past 10 years, it's the perfect comfortable work shoe for days when I'm on my feet a lot. It has a simple but classy look to it, holds up extremely well (hence only 3rd pair in ten years) and has good support.
