Man, if you are tempted by the Van Doren Special Old Skools, go for it. It is a wonderfully weird idea for a themed sneaker (BBQ/Burger themed????) that works cause Vans rarely misses. It looks better in person and had that great old skool feel (with a short break in period). I'm not even super worried about getting them dirty with wear cause it'll definitely enhance the way the shoe looks. I typically wear old skools to work with a pair of generic slacks/chinos and a polo, and this definitely works for that and pretty much any outfit.
Im glad sneakerheads/hypebeasts dont go crazy for Vans like they do Nikes, cause this is a very unique, fun pair of shoes that gets lots of stares and compliments.

My kiddo loves these shoes. She's really hard on sneakers but the Vans always hold up until her next growth spurt. She loves that they come in some cool colors and patterns too.

I purchased the old school style to choose in skateboarding category. They are of course the most popular of the pick of Vans. I'm 54 yrs old and have been wearing Vans all my life since high school. I would highly recommend them! The heather light lavender color I'm very happy with too. Buy from the best..Vans!!
