SICK! I purchased these to rock at the U.S. women's soccer matches for the World Cup in Canada this summer. Fit great, look great, and as always Vans delivers in style and originality. Zappos is by far the best online shoe store. Quick delivery; I wouldn't use any other site.

Shoes like all my Vans are great. Found it strange that the tongue is canvas instead of leather like the rest of the shoe. Doesn't really match the rest of the shoe. But other than that, happy with the shoes.

Too cool for Skool! My daughter loves these. She now owns 3 pairs! Cute, comfortable and on-trend!

Wow! I was searching for a casual shoe to wear other than running shoes. I was torn on color (you know - black, grey or navy) until I came across the bronze Vans. Super comfy and they match absolutely everything. I may order a second pair as a backup!

My son has really flat feet and wears orthotics in his shoes. He has never been able to find casual shoes that he could wear. He absolutely loves these. The shoes are a little taller so his orthotics fit! He was thrilled.

Love these shoes! A little stiff right out of the box but I expected that. I don't think they'll need very much break in at all though. I'm a 6.5 and these were spot on. I've also received tons of compliments on them. And as usual, Zappos was wicked fast in getting these to me.

Love Vans but these were cut a little too high around the ankle for me. Very comfortable as all Vans are but these had to go back.

I am so glad I took the plunge and bought these in red leather. I already had the leather dress blues Old Skool Vans which I loved and the red ones were the natural progression of the same. I wanted something a bit more than casual and either pair fits the bill. Very comfortable and with the Van name, you know they are going to be sturdy too. I consider myself eclectic and like to draw attention to myself. I think these might do it. I think some alternative colored laces might be in order too.

Love these stylish Vans, they had been discontinued by Vans. Thank you Zappos for having them in stock. They are comfy, stylish & oh so cute.

Great shoes. I have had a few of these over the years, and these are some of my favorite Vans. Word of warning though, these need to be broken in a little at first. The padded area in the heel rubs and can blister you. I recommend not lacing them too tight.

I bought these for my 17 year old son and he loves them!! He hasn't worn another pair of shoes since he got these. They fit him perfectly, and stand up to daily wear. Not just a typical pair of sneakers..these are great shoes to wear with any color jeans or with shorts. I would highly recommend them.

The Old Skool is a little high and stiff in the back, so be prepared for some possible blisters or rubbing when you first wear these. Other than that, they're very comfortable. Zappos has more colors and sizes than the Vans physical store, and unlike the Vans online store, you can feel good knowing that if you ordered the wrong size, it's free to exchange. Thanks Zappos!

Break in - After a short break in period (the back of the shoe was uncomfortable to just above my heel) this shoe proved to become very comfortable as all my Vans.

My Fav's - There's a reason why they've been making these for decades: they rock! Mine have all been super comfortable right out of the box. Never had any problems with "heel rubbing". I live downtown and walk A LOT, and the rest of me wears out before my feet start to hurt. I'm pretty rough on shoes and they have all lasted much longer than I would have expected a canvas shoe to last. I still have the 1st pair I bought 4 years ago and still wear them (though they look pretty ratty). The only downside I see is that after about 3/4 of a year of wear, the canvas starts to rip a bit on the side right where the little toe is. Also, the canvas starts to fade after about the same amount of time. The ones with the colored rubber, as opposed to the yellow gum soles, don't feel as comfortable. I have pairs 4 and 5 on the way right now.

Pink Flamingo Vans Old Skool - How many comments can I get in one day? These are a little rough the first wearing (but my feet are majorly screwed up all the time- I'm a dog walker, so walking all the time), but after that, you're home free, super comfortable. My arch did not hurt at all at night and I didn't even put my arch support in these things. I was very surprised and will be getting some other of this style and the high tops without a doubt.

Great shoe - Got this shoe for my boyfriend, love how they look. He's an Old Skool fan, so I already knew they would fit well (went down 1/2 size from his normal shoe size). Highly recommend them!

Classic Comfort and Style - I love Vans. They're the only shoes I would ever consider buying based on their value, superior craftsmanship, fit, and sense of style.

Stylish shoe - I wouldn't recommend someone buying this shoe for skating unless it's longboard because it would wear out too fast. This shoe is a stylish classic hardcore shoe. I had ordered size 11 because that's what I wear, but I had to return it and get a 10.5 so the size scale is a little off.

Happy Hippo Shoes - I bought these shoes for my daughter, who has wide feet. What's nice about Van's shoes is that, because they are skateboard shoes, they are a little bit wider than most shoes, so they fit her perfectly. She's in middle school and had a lot of compliments about the hippo design on her shoes, so that made her happy. It was a great purchase for our family.
