My husband likes this boot a lot. Has to wear steel toe boots. Was comfortable from the beginning. Did not need break in time.

I have worn this boot 12 hours a night, 5 times a week for almost 1 year and really like the way it feels and looks. It did take a few days to fit to my feet but other than that I could not be happier. I now find myself wearing them outside of work because of their looks and feel.

I bought these shoes to wear in a shop environment. I wore them on and off a bit the week before I needed to wear them everyday. Once I went to the shop for an installation, I wore them for 9 days at least 12 hrs or more a day. These shoes are great. They were very comfortable. The only issue I had was with lace bite because I had pulled the laces too tight but I corrected that by loosing the laces a bit. I recommend these steel toe shoes.

I bought these boots for my husband who walks on concrete all day at work. He says they are very comfy and he likes the style. Zappos is terrific!

I work on different mines in Peru, and travel a lot to the mine sites. These boots are so comfortable that i wear them even on the plane. With close to 25 years on the industry/mining, I've tried different models/brands of boots and these are my favorites.

Great pair of shoes! I have had a pair of the soft toe ones for years, love them, super comfortable. These shoes fit just the same right out of the box!

I like the boots SKU#7165852 that I purchased, however the right foot stiching does not match the left foot and affects my pronation? I would like to have the boots right foot repaired or replaced with proper stiching of the laces?

I could not wear steel toes. Always hurt my big toe. This is the only pair that fits and does not hurt my feet. Very confortable and very good support.

I purchased these boots last summer (forgot to review), and was rather happy with the comfort of these boots when I first tried them on. The foot comfort was very nice for a steel toe boot, and the sizing felt like it was accurate according to my foot size (10 1/2 - 11, depending on foot). I had been starting a new job and next needed to test the boots at work. After a couple days of wear, I found the softer material around the heel starting to tear/ have holes, as well as something rubbing against my heel that started a blister. I figured that, perhaps, this particular pair was an exception, so I sent them back to Zappos for another pair of the same boots. The next pair seemed to have the same issue, though I didn't wear them more than once because it still rubbed against my heel. Upon further inspection, there seems to be a seam along the inside of the heel area (upper heel for me, almost on tendon) that appears to be what was rubbing against my heel. Now, I do want to remind any readers that these boots were quite comfortable for a steel toe boot, and, perhaps, a man who has been wearing boots for work for enough years may have built up a solid callous on their heel to avoid feeling the irritation of the seam I mentioned. It doesn't sound like many other people had this issue, so maybe it's just me. I just wanted to put this review out there in case it might help someone else who would have the same issue, as well as offering feedback to Caterpillar about their design.

Not the best, but a pretty good deal for the price. Heavy walking (ups/downs) is hard on the heel. They strike me as being a bit slow to break-in.

This was my first experience buying a steel toed boot. They seamed stiff when I first tried them on but they are pretty comfortable now after wearing them a few times. They have very rugged and durable soles and seem to be very high quality.

Ordered another pair of work boots from Zappos here in SW Asia. Boots true to size. I bought them just 1 size larger, and wider no problems other than normal aches and pains on usual places on top of foot, bottom, and for some reason left pinky toe hurt for about 2 weeks until fully broken in. Soles of boots are just right because here on base mostly stepping on rocks, and alot of dust. Since broke in these boots I have no complaints, and boots are comfortable I would buy same style again!

Within three months of wearing these boots (roughly 40 wears), two of the metal lace holders broke off of the shoes. They are cheap, and poorly constructed. I will not buy Cat boots again.
