I have four pair of these now. I actually discovered them via my MIL. These sandals look great on twenty-somethings like me or sixty-somethings like my MIL. The only downside is that the soles wear out very quickly. I get about 1/2 a season of wear from them. The Mephisto Hannel is another favorite of mine, and it wears longer.

Most comfortable shoe ever - I love this shoe, I have it in two colors and due to severe tendonitis in my feet, it's the only shoe I can wear consistently without pain. Mephisto has changed its foot bed in the newer styles and I do wish they'd make more shoes with this foot bed. They also seem to have discontinued the "spice" color which is unfortunate. I've recently bought two more pairs because I'm afraid they may do away with the style all-together. I would LIVE in this shoe if I could.

Silver Sydel - I love the feel and look of these shoes; I do get A LOT of compliments. They are extremely comfortable and I have feet that hurt - they don't hurt in these and I can wear them all day. My only complaint is after wearing them for only a couple of months the silver is worn off in many places. For the price of the shoe I think the color should hold up much better than it does. Otherwise great shoe and I may order them in black for next summer and see how that holds up compared to the silver. I also take very good care of my shoes as I usually buy expensive ones and so I am pretty disappointed in the silver wearing off.

I like the look of the silver sandal with anything casual. I can't wear the shoe longer than four hours or my toes start rubbing on the first strap. A FUN shoe!

Loved the look of this shoe in blue. Not as comfortable as a Birkenstock. Did return this because they kept slipping off my feet.

Get the subtle sparkle that makes for special occasion shoes - This sandal says "look at me." It is very comfortable and a sandal that you can take out to a party and get noticed. Why do you need those spiked heels when you can get it all in comfort and class!

Great looking but a little snug over my arch - I love wearing these shoes. The width is perfect. My only problem is that the arch strap is a little snug and cuts into my foot a bit. Not a perfect fit, but close enough for short wearing.

Uh oh... The BEST foot beds, BUT the straps consistently rub and leave blisters. I wish the Helen’s had these foot beds instead of cork. The foam mousse is wonderful...

These are very cute and comfortable sandals that I wish had worked for me. Unfortunately, the soles are a little too flat for me. I tend to trip easily and the fact that the front of these shoes does not curl up makes it too easy for them to get caught on any uneven pavement. Unfortunately, I have to return.

I bought these shoes to wear on a trip to France. I ordered my regular size (9) and had to exchange for the next size larger. The shoe rises up along the front and the back edge. Due to the large amount of walking we did, I developed blisters on the bootom of my heel and bottom of toes. They were comfortable for short distance but not all day walking.

Look nice, feel uncomfortable - Nice looking shoe with very uncomfortable straps. The leather on the straps is so hard; I doubt it would get comfortable with wear. The foot bed is very comfy though. Because of the rough leather on the straps, I could not wear it longer than 5 minutes, so I had to return it.

OUCH! I am a big fan of Mephistos, have Ularia sandals in a dozen colors, and most colors of Gabriela maryjanes. I had high hopes for this one, love all the color options. The footbed feels wonderful, so supportive and comfortable. But the straps on the white patent dig into my foot, no matter how adjusted. I was shocked that a Mephisto could hurt so much. I don't know if other colors that are not patent would feel better. I suspect it is the style, so I will probably just return them. Too bad, they are very cute looking. Back to Mephisto Ularia, and for comfy flats, Birkenstock Orlando.

Cute but not comfortable - As a fan of the comfort of Mephisto Shoes I am totally disappointed in this shoe. The buckles are attached with a metal fastener which gouged a small hole into the skin on my feet. Now I have to wear band aids under the buckle in order to even wear the shoes. Not a good design for me. Also the finish on the silver ones is worn after only wearing them 2 times. Not the quality you would expect for the price.
