Mephisto Sydel - I saw this in Florence, Italy and they did not carry my size. I ordered from Zappos for the first time upon our return from the trip. These sandals are everything I hoped for: comfort, arch support, ability to wear with jeans or dresses for casual or dressy. Zappos service was amazing! Had the shoes in a matter of a couple of days and was able to take them with on my next trip where they worked out perfectly. I may have to order more. I went with the gold to allow for casual or dressy and they are perfect! My only issue is they do not have a back strap.

Cutest Sandal EVER!! I am a huge Zappos fan. They have the best customer service with the best selection of shoes. I have ordered literally dozens of pairs of shoes (and returned a few!) from them and I've never had a problem. Sydel is the most comfortable sandal I've ever worn. It has great arch support and is super comfortable. I usually wear an 8 1/2 wide and the 39 is a perfect fit with the strap adjusted a bit. Thanks Zappos!! Your a treat for us shoe addicts!

Great sandal - I love these sandals! This is actually my second pair of the same shoe. I have worn them so much I wanted another pair. They are super comfortable, give great support and look stylish too. I highly recommend this sandal.

Great shoe - I have worn these shoes for several years... they are so comfortable. I wore them in Paris & pounded the streets for hours.

These are the greatest - I only wear the Sydel style and always receive compliments on them. They are very comfortable and if you have back problems, they give excellent support. Hope there are new colors for spring. I have 7 pairs. Service and delivery is fabulous with Zappos. Don't hesitate to order from them.

Best sandal ever - This is my 3rd pair of Mephisto Sydel. Coping with plantar fasciitis is a pain, but at least in this shoe I'm able to walk for much longer periods of time without any discomfort. I have 2 pair in the white (the first pair I now use for house slippers) and 1 pair in the black. Would definitely buy again, when needed. Zappos has been a great company to order through.

What a great sandal - I wear these everywhere. They go with everything, are very comfortable and I always get compliments.

Mephisto Waltz - I had my foot in a cast for 8 months. Needless to say it was extremely difficult finding a shoe that I could tolerate for any length of time. The Sydel, with its foot pad that molds to the foot, was a perfect solution. The straps loosen over time, but new holes can be made easily. The shoe bed will even mold around your toes for that ahhh feeling when you slip into them. My family knows exactly when I put my Sydels on by my sighs. There is a website that actually will repair your old Mephisto from the soles up, so you'll always keep them!

Great Shoe! This is a great shoe. Looks good, felt true to size. Can be dressed up or down. I have two pairs and will purchase more.

Mephisto Sydel - Cute and fabulous arch support. There aren't many sandals that I have found with good arch support.

Great shoe! I have the orange and the black also - Mephisto needs to come up with a more consistent sizing. I would only order Mephisto on line if I had tried the shoe on or worn them. I have 3 different styles and 3 different sizes. The ones that fit are so comfortable. I have one pair that stretched so much after I wore them that I can't keep them on anymore.

Excellent service + Excellent shoe = happy customer - Like all good Italian footwear/leather, it will conform to your feet. I'm inspired to write in response to the excellent uncomplicated customer service I received. My foot wasn't sitting correctly in the first pair that was sent, and Zappos immediately sent out a new pair that are everything I was looking for in a shoe.

Marvelous Mephisto - I already own a pair of the same shoe and love them so much I ordered a pair for "reserve". If you have never tried a Mephisto sandal, your feet are missing out!

Doesn't stay on foot - Thought I would really like this shoe. Wore it on vacation in Maine, where I was going to do a lot of walking, only to find out it wouldn't stay on my foot, no matter how hard I tried adjusting the straps. My sister got the same pair and had the same problem. Too bad--very expensive mistake. I now only wear them when I will not do too much walking and just want to look stylish.

WONDERFUL SUMMER SHOE - This shoe is so incredibly comfortable and stylish at the same time. I have received many compliments since starting to wear them. I have them in two colors and probably will buy more.

Chic Comfort. These sandals are very flattering on the foot. Sleek skinny straps with delicate sparking buckles make them styling. Comfortable Mephisto footbed. Even cuter on than the photo can display. When you want to go up a notch from casual but don't want to give up comfort, this is the sandal for you. I take a US 8.5 and in general a euro 39. Euro 39 in this sandal was perfect.

Cute and Comfortable - I bought the Sydel in black patent last year and just love it. I ordered the nubuck dark taupe and the patent spice this year. It's still too cold for sandals so I haven't worn them yet. I'm not to sure about the patent spice, the leather is rather stiff not like my black patent ones, which are much softer. I may not keep the spice patent but with Zappos fantastic return policy there is never a problem, Overall the Sydel is very comfortable and fits my hard to fit foot!

The best sandal ever – I have problems with my feet, mainly painful bunions. It was always very hard to find a sandal that looked good, I always seemed to find comfort (my first priority). When I found this sandal (while on vacation) I bought it in the white patent. The comfort level was incredible, you couldn’t see the bunions, and they looked great with skirts. I have since bought then in black, gray, red, gold, silver, and brown. They look great with skirts, jeans, whatever and they feel great!

This is my second pair of Sydels, they are extremely comfortable with good support for my high arched, wideish foot. Need to order a full size larger than usual.

The BEST summer shoe ever! My niece encouraged me to buy the silver Sydel (complete with rhinestone buckles) and I've never had a moment of regret. I purchased them in May and hardly had them off my feet all summer. I have terrible feet and need serious cushioning in the ball of the foot. This shoe is perfect.

Perfect - These sandals are extremely comfortable. I own a lot of Mephisto shoes and sandals and these feel like not wearing shoes at all on the top but with a pillow under the foot. Great great shoe.

Love the Bling! These are great! Comfy, not as clunky as Birkenstocks, great color (blue.) Everyone wants a pair.

These are my first pair of Mephisto's and they look SO cute on! I chose the black patent, and I wear a sparkly ankle-chain to match. Dress-up or dress-down.

A comfortable alternative for a dressy shoe - I wore my black patent Sydel sandals to a wedding and I was comfortable for the entire evening. I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot and I broke my back several years ago, making it impossible for me to wear high heel shoes. This sandal was a great substitute. With the rhinestone buckle they are dressy enough for any event that I attend. These sandals are also great with casual clothes. I recently purchased the silver Rydels from Zappos.com. I wore them to a party last night and I received lots of compliments. What a comfortable, versatile sandal!
