My Favorite Shoe - Even before I developed a severe foot problem I owned 2 pair just because I loved the style and comfort. Now that I have a metatarsal problem with one foot, these are the only shoes I wear. I have five pair in different colors.

Mephisto Sydel - I love this shoe for the great arch support. The thin straps and rhinestone buckles keep the sandal looking feminine. I get compliments on this sandal from women of all ages about how cute it looks. I love the adjustable buckles too because I have narrow feet and this gives me a great fit. I have pain in the ball of my foot and this is the most comfortable shoe I own. I can wear it all day. I have Sydel in gold, spice and white also. It looks nice with shorts, slacks and even skirts. I like the patent leather because it just wipes clean. The rest of the sandal wears great too.

Mephisto Sandals - Great Look - Just about every time I wear these sandals, I get a comment from someone about how "cute" they are. For my narrow foot, they are extremely comfortable because I can adjust the straps to accommodate an AA width. Also, the arch support in this show is phenomenal. I have three pair of them!

My favorite sandal - This is my second pair and I know there will be more to follow. This is the most comfortable shoe I have in my closet. I have a narrow foot and this shoe can be adjusted to fit me very well.

Fantastic Sandal - Love this shoe...have three different colors. I was disappointed with the Silver shoe. Only because the Silver wore off in patches. Just after the first week. The Black Patent and White have been awesome!! Many compliments from other people. I wear these shoes day in and day out... they are sooo comfortable. I have a lot of problems with my feet and these shoes have been fantastic!!! Thanks to Mephisto and to Zappos for their great service!!!

Mephisto Sydel - Love them! I now have them in old gold, black and beige and they make my summer!

Sydel - I recently purchased the Sydel and am very happy with this sandal. The foot bed is well-constructed, very soft and comfortable. They can be casual or dressy.

Good and pretty sandals for lousy feet. Tried these sandals and found them to be so comfortable and attractive for arched support shoes. You have to order next side up for half sizes but the buckles help if one foot is too big. I look like a million in these and will order another color to add to my wardrobe.

Sydel’s are superb! These are not only comfortable but very attractive. They can be worn with jeans or a nice skirt/dress/capri outfit. I ordered the silver ones to wear at the beach because I like to have a good arch support and I am finding I am wearing them all over! If you do order them for beachwear consider getting a pair with the black bottoms like the silver ones (to avoid getting them as soiled from your feet). These sandals have a great arch support and again, are very attractive!

Comfort/style hybrid - Overall a very nice sandal that combines style with comfort. I didn't find it as comfortable as other Mephisto styles--maybe the straps are a bit narrow for true comfort--but I've been playing around with the buckle adjustment and I think they will be okay. I'm a true size 8 and ordered a 9 and the fit was perfect. I'd say they run toward a narrower width.

Love my Sydels - This is my second pair of Sydels. I bought the white patent leather ones last year and enjoyed them so much decided to buy another pair in the gold. I have received many compliments on both pairs and find them extremely comfortable and a bit fun/funky with the rhinestone buckles. I need a lot of arch support and this sandal provides it when other sandals have not. They are a bit expensive but for me they have been worth it.

Pretty, comfortable sandal - Very comfortable once buckles are adjusted to fit width of foot. Gold color nice goes with everything. Like walking on air!

Awesome Stylish Sandal - This is one of the best, most comfortable sandals I've ever owned. I now have 8 pairs of this shoe in almost every color!

I saw these shoes in Miami when I was on vacation and just had to have them. They are cute, comfortable and stylish. I ordered the "Gold", however the color is actually more "bronze/copper" in appearance. Also, I advise ordering a full size larger than your normal size.

Great - Shoes fit great--like the style--there was a stone missing on one buckle, but didn't feel like bothering to return them--

Sydel Mephisto - Excellent sandal-top quality--perfect fit for my feet. I only wear Mephisto.

Stylish and comfortable sandal - The sandal has the Mephisto comfort with a little sparkle! It is very versatile.

Silver Mephisto Sydel - I have wide feet and this style fits, although not as perfectly as some Mephisto styles. The silver and buckles are very in this season and they are quite striking, casual and dressy at the same time. I will say that had my foot been any wider across the toes, I would have run out of strap to loosen, so a bit more strap for wide feet would have been good. There was no problem with this across the middle of the foot.

Darling Shoe - These shoes are really cute and very comfortable right away. It usually takes me a few weeks to break in my Birkenstocks, but these I wore comfortably right out of the box. I ordered a full size larger after reading some of the reviews.

Comfortable! The fit is snug, but true. I was able to put them on and walk all day with comfort. They're also well made. I'm very happy with them, including how they look when on. (They're the first pair of Mephisto's that I've owned.)

I just love this style of sandals from Mephisto so much that I have it in 4 colors! It is not only comfortable but pretty on the feet, not at all wide like a boat the way some other brands look. No breaking in needed. I can't wait for summer to wear my newest pair in metallic gold!

Comfort AND Style- This is a very cute COMFORT sandal. This shoe was comfortable for long periods of time with no breaking in. As I have a very high arch, the buckles made it possible to adjust for an immediate customized fit. I plan on making this shoe my primary walking shoe thru Europe this spring. I ordered it in three colors. The little rhinestone buckles make it a lot dressier then this type of shoe usually looks. I am really pleased with it. Hint: I am usually a definite American size 8, but found the European equivalent of an American size 9 to fit me the best.

Great - Mephisto shoes are always incredibly comfortable. They are really supportive and the leather footbed keeps your feet cool and dry in hot weather. I've owned a few pair but this style is a good change because the styling is finer and not so clunky. With the thinner straps and the buckles this shoe is good for when you need to look nice and do some serious walking. The black footbed also means that the sandal doesn't show wear as soon as the other styles.

Best Sandals Ever - So comfortable, perfectly supportive, and great looking. I get lots of compliments and they feel so great on my feet. I will buy more as new colors come out.
