I love these boots. They are such amazing quality. Very beautiful and pretty comfortable. I have wide toes and they get a little squished by the boots. Also, there is a scratchy seam in the leather at the top of the boot, but a friend told me that a little bit of moleskin applied over those spots will help.

These boots were very popular in the 1970s, when I was in high school. I'm happy to say they're still made with the same style and quality as they were back then! I ordered my usual size, and the fit was perfect for me. There was even a little extra room to fit my orthotics. I like to wear a medium-weight knee sock with boots, and they felt nice and comfy with my favorite socks. This is a well-made boot that should last the wearer a lifetime. Perfect with jeans or a below-the-knee skirt. You can't go wrong with Frye boots!

I love these boots. I did have to go a half size down though. Started with my regular size but the boots stretched after a couple of wears. The color is beautiful and they are quite comfortable.

I was so excited to receive my Frye Campus 14L boots yesterday (in banana), as I too have been coveting these babies for a few years before making the purchase a couple days ago. Unlike a lot of reviewers, I ordered my usual shoe size (an 8M) because my feet are a little on the wide side. When I first put the boots on, I thought they were a little too loose in the heal area and decided to exchange for a 1/2 size smaller. But after trying them on again with socks and realizing that everywhere else beside the heel felt quite snug and the heel slippage was much less with socks on, I decided to keep the size 8's and am proudly wearing them right now as I type this. I simply love these boots. I have muscular calves but have no problem with tightness in that area. These are my 2nd pair of Frye boots and consider these an investment for my feet.

I ordered these while looking for a casual, leather boot. After reading previous reviews, I ordered a 7, though I normally wear a 7.5. They came and fit perfectly. I returned them only because the Veronica Slouch was more what I was looking for, with its buckles and style. The 14L is a simple, low heel boot. Beautiful leather, very comfortable. Loved the hidden inner straps to pull the boot on.

I am kind of obsessed with this boot. I ordered the saddle color and it is a perfect neutral brown, with a hint of reddish warmness(!). Amazing for straight leg or skinny jeans and casual dresses. It's not too cowboy and has its own fabulous look. I have had issues with the sizing of other Fryes - my normal shoe size is 7.5. I have the Engineer 8r in a 7, and Carson shorties in 6.5. With the Campus, the 7 is a perfect, roomy fit. I could fit a thicker sock if I needed too. I would say this one runs 1/2 to a full size too large. People who have tried on Fryes will know what to do with this info - for others it's simply trial and error! Campus 14L were worth every penny and I'm thrilled to have them!

These boots are absolutely beautiful. I ordered my true size which is an 8. They fit well, but I do have to wear socks if I wear tights. This is fine since I live in a cold climate...keeps my feet extra warm! I have gotten lots of compliments on them. The color is really nice and neutral. Worth the splurge! I'll wear them for years and years to come.

I just received these boots in Banana Leather and I am in love! The color is so unique and I can't wait to where them into the Spring. I have two other pairs of Frye boots (Harness and Lace-ups) so I knew to order a 7.5 (I am typically an 8 in boots). Very stiff when you first get them, but I know from past experience that they will loosen up nicely. I also want to comment on the excellent service I received from Zappos. Not only was my shipping free, but since this was my first order I was upgraded to VIP and was eligible for 1-Day shipping. I ordered my boots at 8 p.m. last night and they were on my doorstep by 2 p.m. today! That is service that can not be beat! I will now only use Zappos for my online shoe purchases.

At first, they were hard to put on and felt a bit tight but after wearing them for a couple of days now, the leather is starting to loosen up. I probably should have just bought a pair 1/2 size larger, then a full size. definitely worth the money because you can tell that these boots are made to last. I'm already thinking about getting another pair!

Great basic boot! Fit great right out of the box as usual with Frye. High quality and the Banana color is wonderful!

Zappos service cannot be beat. I always try them first. My daughter wanted these boots for a Hanukkah gift. She is so happy with them. From the minute they arrived, they have been on her feet! She has received so many compliments on them. I would say they are well worth the price.

I love the vintage-y look of these boots. They are classic and will last forever! The heel gives an extra amount of height without being overwhelming. Versatile, essential in the winter and adorable in the summer with jean shorts!

This is my second pair of Frye Campus boots; I have another pair in brown that I have been wearing for 7 years that still looks and feels great. I needed a new pair of black boots for the fall/winter, so I decided to go for another pair of Fryes; they last forever. They are a very comfortable, durable, high quality pull on boot, and they look super cute over jeans, under jeans, or with a skirt or dress. I love them and cannot say enough good things about them.

I wear an 8.5 so I had first ordered an 8 based on some of the reviews saying to order half a size down. I ended up having to send them back and order a full size down because they were too loose in the heel! The 7.5 fit just fine...I can tell they are going to take a while to break in but that's part of the fun of a new pair of boots right? They are beautiful and go with everything, skinny or regular jeans and look too cool with dresses or skirts.

Love these! Wear them all the time! Have received tons of compliments on these. They are classic and look great with tights & dresses or with skinny jeans/jeggings! A big investment, but I think I'll have them forever.

My Birthday Boots! My daughter and her boyfriend sent me a gift certificate on line for my birthday, these boots were my absolute first choice! I have wanted a pair since high school! We won't discuss what year I graduated... I love them, and my friends love them, they are absolutely perfect!

I ordered these first in 7½ in Blazer brown and decided I wanted the more rustic look of the dark brown. The dark brown in the same size were super narrow, possibly too small, and super stiff. I was heartbroken but back they go. I do not know if this was just a weird pair, or if that particular leather color runs tight and narrow, but keep that in mind when ordering!

As far as style goes, these boots are great if you like a rugged, casual look and are looking for versatile boots that will never go out of style. My only complaint is that the sizing is way off. I generally wear a size 8 in shoes and boots. However, the size 8 in these ran way too large. I returned them for half a size down, but they still feel a little too loose. I kept them though, because I was afraid a size down would be too small with socks. The shaft on these boots is a little too wide if you have thin calves like me. They work great for tucking in jeans, but I wore them with a skirt and they slapped against my legs, which felt very weird.

Totally in love with these! Picked them up true to size in the color bourbon and so happy with them! They smell so amazing and although it was a struggle to get them on the first time - I walked around the house for 30 minutes and they stretched out nicely. They feel great now! I’d love these next year in a mother color or two!

Best boots ever! The quality is 10/10 and they’re trendy yet classic

These were my first Frye boots. I have a wide toe bed and was worried these would pinch me. It took a few wears but they really stretched nicely and are already super comfortable!
