I have an extremely wide foot (EEEE since childhood) but also have a "normal heel" & have a very difficult time finding shoes that fit. I was pleasantly surprised that these came close & am exchanging because they might actually fit in a larger size. All of this having been said, in the vast majority of shoes that do fit in the width, the length is almost always 8 & sometimes 7.5 but never larger & these are going to require at least an 8.5 & maybe even a 9. My review may change with larger size

These are nice shoes, but those who need full foot orthotics be forewarned. The insole in this shoe is thick, glued in place and can't be removed. Putting my prescription orthotics over it makes the shoe unbearably tight.

I bought these sneakers to wear to a park. They were very hard and uncomfortable for hours of walking. I ordered an EE width but they did not feel like extra wide and there was not comfort in the sole for all day ware.

Unfortunately I had to send them back. I love sketchers shoes, but these ran a good half size too small. Other than that, they would have been perfect for my job. ???

Boy these are klunky sneakers. It looks like my feet are twice their actual size. Sending back.

You need to purchase these shoes a full size bigger. They run short and will be uncomfortable to wear even at a half size longer. I have narrow feet and the B width fits great. Very comfortable to stand in all day. Customer Service is very nice and helpful when I had to exchange mine for a longer shoe. :)

When I opened the box and saw the shoe I was really happy. The shoe is a great quality shoe. I tried it on and it was like a half size larger. I thought about just putting in an insert for extra support but my goal was to avoid that, hoping the shoe would help me with my aching feet. I am on then for 8 to 10 hours a day. I wore then around the house for the day and found that the "tongue" of the shoe is just a bit to long and it kept rubbing the top of my ankle. I took them off for a short time, then tried walking around again. Still found the same issue with the "tongue". Not sure what to do now since I have worn them if they will take them back. I cant exchange them because my size is not available. I guess I will wait and see what happens now. I cant really say if the shoe is comfortable because of the issue with the "tongue" was to bothersome for me to notice. I will keep trying to look for a shoe to help my aching feet.

I normally wear a WWW width in another brand an thought I would try this but unfortunately they were to narrow for my foot. Had they fit I still would have returned them because the shoelace hardware made my foot look even wider than it is.

When I first started wearing this pair, I noticed they would slide over my heel. I tried tying them tighter but didn't help. Not quite sure why, but I also bought a white pair, identical to these except color. Those fit perfect! Strange.

Sketchers used to make a nice slip-on. I thought these were those, but they are actually full lace-up sneakers, which I didn't want. I was able to buy some elastic lock laces to get the slip-on effect, but beware, the tongue is short and needs to be fiddled with to get it to stay in place. They look really cute and the price was right. Some thin orthotics solved the lack of arch support (but beware, on these Sketchers you cannot pull out the interior cushion to insert a full prescription orthotic, as it is glued down). So all in all, these sneakers needed quite a bit of "modification" to make them work for me.

These shoes have very good stability and I thought they were wide enough but after wearing them for a while they feel too tight, if I hadn't worn them outside I would be returning them. In the right size they would be great for hiking.

I don't like blisters on my toes so wider the better. These shoes were not wide enough. I can wear them as long as I am not walking any distance. My size purchased was 8 1/5 ew

Pros: Attractive shoe, the wide width is truly wide enough for my WW feet. No pinching and the shoes do not create any blisters. I put them on right out of the box; they did not need any breaking in. Cons: Needs more cushion and more support. Foot liners do not come out. After wearing for 8 hours my feet and legs were very tired. I'll note that I'm used to Skechers Shape Ups which were amazing shoes!..The thick soles offered splendid cushion and support. Skechers, if you are reading this review, please please bring them back in a wide wide.

I usually love sketchers, I have a closet full of them but these disappointed me. They were too narrow and the front of the shoe was stiff and it came up so high that when I walked it pushed into my ankles.

Very comfy. Laces too short, but that is an easy switch to make. I tried hard to like them, given how comfortable they are, but they looked just a bit too weird (almost like old-fashioned shoes for those with a crippling medical issue combined with 60s style ski boots). The style is sort of "Frankensteinian." They also seem like they are better suited for walking than for use at the gym or for a treadmill. The "S" on the side is very glossy and looks a bit cheesy over sporty. And it is a yellowish beige on the white version, making it look old and yellowed. The one on the white with the light blue lacing loops is a minty green and is pretty, but it looks like a gloss pin glued to the side. Stitching or something less cheap looking would be sportier and more attractive. If Skechers could have a "cousin" to this style that is more athletic than funky, then I would be in that audience. Ah, but they were so comfortable.

Kinda a clunky shoe for my small feet, but very light weight. Good traction and waterproof if there are no holes. Wears really well. I'm standing and walking around all day and the soles on these shoes have not worn down as fast as my other shoes. However, after having the shoes for almost a year the side has started to rip open, but I cannot tell if this is due to me using it constantly, or a manufacturer defect.

Super cute but after wearing 6 hours my feet were in severe pain...:( I will not ever wear them again. The toe box scrunched up my toes.

These are very nice looking sneaker. Unfortunately I need to return them. The width is much tighter than a double EE, even with a thin pair of socks. The length is correct at 6.5. I will keep shopping at Zappos, for they are awesome!!!

These are fine for wearing around but if you walk every day, DON'T get these... my feet are starting to ache and my ankle rolls... I need something with a stronger arch support... gonna try Vionic.
